«Some day we will manage to arouse to the company of which to do the things for one same, to work with the hands and to believe in our capacities makes us freer and overcoat happier»

Lucía Ruiz de Aguirre Rodríguez

Which has been your formation and your professional path before this project?

I studied architecture in the ETSAC, was employed for years at the area of the urbanism, and later co – founded 7i architecture devoting myself to the planning, management of study and to the area proyectual, but this time inside the area of the building.

Did you appear in some moment, present, past or future, to look for work abroad?

I appear it every day, but for personal circumstances at this moment I see it unviable.

What did you lead to starting Peka’s World?

Peka’s World arose almost in a chance way. Before the lack of work inside the area of the architecture and bearing in mind that the design in general me apasiona, I was soaking in “mode”.

Did you meet many difficulties in his putting in march?

Peka’s World has been a very hard experience and simultaneously very gratifying.

Start it was complicated, but the really difficult thing was to support it, because a fashionable company not only lives of the design, the management is very very complicated.

Are you satisfied with the reached aims?

Sincerely, I it was, but at present Peka’s World is a stopped project.

To extract it forward in these moments would be necessary an enormous investment that I do not possess and a few gun-sights to very long term, since the mode of ” average price ” is the one that more is suffering the crisis.

Do you believe that the architects in Spain we should continue opening new routes of work to go out of the “most “traditional” cabin of projecting given the current situation of the construction in our country?

I believe that not only we should, but it does not fit another option. Obviously the architecture as such at this moment is not viable. There are many forms of architecture, the mode for me it is, and each one must look that it forms of architecture believes more suitable at this moment to go out forward.

What do you think of those that they have been going to work abroad?

It seems to me to be marvellous. It is necessary to look for professional exits, and if for it it is necessary to emigrate, since one emigrates! In addition for my own experience, to live abroad does that the vision that one has of the world, from the profession and from the life they are very different from those that we have in this country and enriches it.
