Health Center in A Covada | Abalo Alonso Arquitectos

Well orientated area. Light slope towards the southwest and arboreal mass of chestnut-trees, oaks and eucalyptuses in the western part. We locate ourselves without being a nuisance; we respect the woodland and stick, being closed, to the road future to the North-East.

A piece lightly compact, of a plant to avoid problems of accessibility and that is fixed in the area, with a very simple scheme in the shape of hache.

I access from this, across a vestibule deprived up to reaching the center of the building, from which game is distributed.

Every part of the program in a wing; rehabilitation, personnel, general consultations, pediatrics and facilities. Organized concerning courts, vestibules or fissures that tint the meeting with the environment generating spatial wealth; stays which are opened or closed, permeable or contained depending on his use.

Direct lighting, across lattices or by means of lucernarios that qualify the spaces.

Walls of load, slabs of concrete, closings steels. Sloping secret cover, with gargoyles, solados of linoleum. Interior partitions of carton plaster or wood; lattices. Woodland.
