La Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad celebrará su II Congreso Internacional, bajo el título “Arquitectura: Lo Común”, los días 20, 21 y 22 de junio de 2012, en el Baluarte, Palacio de Congresos y Auditorio de Navarra. El Congreso contará con la presencia de cuatro arquitectos galardonados con el Premio Pritzker: Álvaro Siza (Portugal, premiado en 1992), Rafael Moneo (España, premiado en 1996), Norman Foster (Reino Unido, premiado en 1999) y Eduardo Souto de Moura (Portugal, premiado en 2011).
Las sesiones estarán estructuradas en bloques temáticos, desde la mañana del miércoles 20 de junio, hasta el mediodía del viernes 22 de junio. El primero será `Apertura´. Le seguirán tres conjuntos de ponencias que llevarán por título `Arquitectura y cobijo´, `Arquitectura y eficacia´ y `Arquitectura y placer´. Por último, y como cierre del Congreso, se desarrollará el bloque titulado `Conclusión´.
Dirigido por Luis Fernández-Galiano, en el Congreso intervendrán, además de los Premios Pritzker, los arquitectos Manuel Aires Mateus (Portugal), Solano Benítez (Paraguay), Roger Diener (Suiza), Dietmar Eberle (Austria), Anna Heringer (Austria) y Vasa Perovic (Serbia), entre otros.
