La colección de documentales editada por la Fundación Caja de Arquitectos, cuyos ejemplares ya se han comentado en este blog, ha llegado a su número veinte. Su título es Invitación al viaje, está dirigido por Jörg Bundschuh en 2006 y dedicado a la obra de la interesante Eileen Gray, centrándose en la villa E.1027, que empezó a construir en 1926 junto a Jean Badovici. Como se sabe, el trabajo de Gray es fundamental en el siglo XX y estuvo olvidado durante muchos años seguramente por culpa de ser mujer.
Este documental, premiado en 2008 con el Best Portrait Award del Festival de Montreal, es correcto y tradicional, muestra muchas imágenes poco conocidas de Gray, de sus muebles y proyectos, bien es verdad que no incide demasiado en los polémicos murales que pintó Le Corbusier en la casa antes mencionada, pero sí se debate la conveniencia de conservarlos o devolver al edificio a su estado original.

Como se sabe, o traballo de Gray é fundamental no século XX e estivo esquecido durante moitos anos seguramente por culpa de ser muller.
Este documental, premiado en 2008 co Best Portrait Award do Festival de Montreal, é correcto e tradicional, mostra moitas imaxes pouco coñecidas de Gray, dos seus mobles e proxectos, ben é verdade que non incide demasiado nos polémicos murales que pintou Le Corbusier na casa antes mencionada, pero si se debate a conveniencia de conservalos ou devolver ao edificio ao seu estado orixinal.
