Abstract

An excerpt from this conversation, held twenty-five years ago, was published on the occasion of the centenary of the interviewee's birth in issue number 4 of the journal Boletín Acadómico (BAC). Now the rest of the conversation sees the light, which addresses issues of notable interest: the particular way of approaching his first professional steps as an architect in post-war Spain, Fisac's very personal vision regarding the architects of the Modern Movement with particular attention to work of Le Corbusier, or his position regarding turn-of-the-century architecture when the interview took place. To finish, the author from La Mancha makes a critical approach to the sacred architecture of the 20th century - of which Fisac himself was the main protagonist, at least in our country - and an interesting approach to the plastic artists with whom he had the opportunity to work, from Capuz or Stolz to Susana Polac and Jorge Oteiza.
