‘Buildings’ proposes a trip for the Spanish contemporary architecture in company of more than thirty architects of prestige who will count the keys of his most recent work. In the next weeks the new series of 2, which Marina Collazo directs, will appear to schools, hospitals, cultural centers, houses, industrial buildings, centers of interpretation and audiences, grouped thematicly.

In spite of the crisis in the sector, Spain in a modal of architecture worldwide. The contemporary Spanish architecture of last twenty years is the expression of a great group of architects with an own creativity and identity, and a professional excellence recognized in the whole planet.

Buildings will show every Saturday in La 2 the latter architecture, along eight chapters in which it will enter schools, hospitals, cultural centers, houses, industrial buildings, centers of interpretation and audiences. All the selected buildings are very recent constructions; in some perviven the echoes of epochs of prosperity and in others the spirit much more austere that it demonstrates the changes in our country in the last decade.

More than 30 architects of prestige will analyze his buildings. The program will show, between others, the Conference hall of Cartagena, The Small boat, of Selgascano; the School in the neighborhood of The Miraculous one, in Pamplona, of Pereda-Perez; Cineteca Matadero, of Churtichaga – de la Quadra; the House for three sisters, of Blancafort-Reus and the Field of Barley, of Zuloark

The series will group the buildings thematicly in the following chapters: ‘Industrial Architecture’, ‘Contemporary Tradition’, ‘Mediterranean Scene’, ‘Education in context’, ‘Between trees’, ‘Health to different scales’, ‘Groups’ and ‘Centers of interpretation’.
