Contemporary or modern architecture is often criticized based on the mere visual and epidermal perception of the work and through expressions that are almost never argued. Replications by architects rarely help improve that perception. Social media reinforces a message that is poor, often causing a poorly nutritious debate. This article outlines various guidelines through comments on how to view the building and on how to issue criticism.
