Abstract

Vom Bau der Kirche (1938) signed a before and after not so much in architecture as in the reflection on architecture, and also architecture at the service of man, not in itself. What we have just reflected seems like a constant amendment or even an accumulation of redundancies, but Schwarz's intention surely went much further.
