About the Journal

VAD. veredes, arquitectura y divulgación is an international scientific journal of biannual periodicity and digital and physical format that aims to be a channel for the dissemination of works and reflections focused on culture, theory and the architectural project.

VAD accepts for review and possible publication scientific articles (4000-5000 words), architectural criticisms (500-800 words) and book reviews (400-500 words) typical of the research fields, according to its UNESCO nomenclature::

- 5506 History: by specialties: History of architecture.

- 6201 Architecture: Architectural design, Gardens and parks, Urban planning.

Only original contents in Spanish and English not previously published will be evaluated, aiming to achieve the highest possible quality in the works, applying the usual procedures in scientific journals. The assessment of the external reviewers will influence the interest of the article, the critical judgment developed, the bibliographic references handled, the quality of the writing, as well as their contribution to knowledge in the field of history, theory and architectural design and urban.

VAD. veredes, arquitectura y divulgación offers open access to all published content, with the aim of promoting free and accessible research for everyone, thus supporting a global knowledge exchange. It is published under the "Creative Commons Reconocimiento-No comercial 4.0" (CC-BY-NC-SA), licensing system, complying with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). In this sense, all authors have the right to protect and preserve intellectual property over their works, and this is recognized by the Editorial Team.

VAD. veredes, arquitectura y divulgación does not charge fees for the submission of works, nor fees for the publication of its articles.

SCOPUS

Elsevier's bibliographic database of abstracts and citations of scientific journal articles. It contains, apart from articles, more than 3,700 Gold Open Access indexed journals, more than 210,000 books and more than 8 million conference proceedings, more than 8 million Open Access documents, also includes ‘Articles in Press’ of more than 5,500 titles, and covers 40 languages.

   

DOAJ

The DOAJ is an online directory curated by the community that indexes and provides access to high-quality, open-access, peer-reviewed academic journals. The DOAJ is independent. All funding is made through donations, 40% of which come from sponsors and 60% from publishers and members. All DOAJ services are free, including indexing in the DOAJ. All data is available for free.

It is one of the largest bibliographic portals in the world, whose main task is to give greater visibility to the Hispanic scientific literature.

Miar

Information Matrix for the Analysis of Magazines- is a Database that intends to establish annual identification and evaluation of journals. Analyzes the presence of the journal in different Databases and, based on its presence in secondary sources, calculates the Secondary Diffusion Composite Index (ICDS).

CIRC

CIRC (Clasificación Integrada de Revistas Científicas)

Its objective is the construction of a classification of scientific journals of Social and Human Sciences based on their quality, integrating the existing evaluation products positively considered by the different national evaluation agencies such as CNEAI and ANECA.

DULCINEA

The objective of Dulcinea is to identify and analyze the editorial policies of Spanish journals regarding access to their texts and archives, their copyright and how they may affect their subsequent self-archiving or deposit in institutional or thematic repositories.

REBIUN

The Collective catalog of the University Library Network (Catalog REBIUN) gathers the bibliographic records of the 76 university libraries and the CSIC that are part of this network. BASE Search

BASE is one of the most voluminous search engines in the world, especially for academic web resources. BASE provides more than 150 million documents from more than 7,000 sources. You can access the full texts of approximately 60% of the indexed documents for free (open access). BASE is operated by the Bielefeld University Library.  

PKP Index

It is a database of scientific articles, books and conference proceedings that use the Open Journal Systems, Open Monograph Press and Open Conference Systems software applications of PKP. By being in this database, the magazine can index its contents for free in a global system of research databases with high visibility and international recognition.  

REBID

It´ s aggregation platform for electronic-format scientific and academic content produced in the Ibero-American space, granting its users direct access to scientific and academic documents of proven quality, published by publishers and other producers of scientific and academic content in Ibero-American countries and languages or on topics related to Ibero-America.

DRJI

With millions of resources available on the Internet, it can be difficult to find useful material.

EZB

The electronic journal library is a service for the efficient use of full-text scientific journals on the Internet. It offers fast, structured and standardized access to full-text scientific journals. The electronic journal library was founded in 1997 as part of a project of the University of Regensburg Library, in cooperation with the library of the Technical University of Munich.

INFOBASE INDEX

InfoBase Index is a comprehensive, multipurpose database covering scholarly literature from all over the world. It is run by 'Akshantala Education and Charitable Trust' a non profit organisation.

It is a Google search engine focused and specialized in the search of scientific and academic content and bibliography. The site indexes publishers, libraries, repositories, bibliographic databases, among others; and among its results you can find citations, links to books, articles of scientific journals, communications and congresses, scientific-technical reports, thesis, theses and archives deposited in repositories.
