PLANTEAMIENTO GENERAL. La Comisión de Cultura del Coag Vigo propone una reflexión, para este Día Mundial de la Arquitectura, en torno a la Arquitectura como una herramienta activa en la construcción de la sociedad democrática, la única que viene garantizando el respeto a los Derechos Humanos para el conjunto de la población. La cuestión que durante la celebración del DMA se examinará será si hay una Arquitectura democrática, mejor adaptada a la identidad de las sociedades modernas, y, en caso afirmativo, en qué puede consistir, qué rasgos concretos la distinguen de otras arquitecturas de la historia. Con motivo de la celebración el próximo lunes 3 de Octubre del Día Mundial de la Arquitectura, en la Delegación de Vigo del COAG tendrán lugar una serie de actos a lo largo de toda la semana cuyo enfoque y programa indicamos a continuación.

Se hará una presentación en la sede del COAG Vigo intentando investigar el tema propuesto, “Arquitectura y Derechos Humanos”, por parte de diez arquitectos y estudios, permitiendo tanto una aproximación concreta desde la reflexión sobre los edificios propuestos como una aproximación más global o teórica.

GENERAL EXPOSITION. The Commission of Culture of the Coag Vigo proposes a reflection, for this World Day of the Architecture, concerning the Architecture like an active tool in the construction of the democratic company, the only one that comes guaranteeing the respect to the Human rights for the set of the population. The question that during the celebration of the DMA will examine will be if it is a democratic Architecture better adapted to the identity of the modern companies, and, in affirmative case, of what it can consist, what concrete features distinguish from other architectures of the history. On the occasion of the celebration next Monday, the 3rd of October of the World Day of the Architecture, in the Delegation of Vigo of the COAG a series of acts will take place throughout the whole week which approach and program we indicate later.
