Of Friday, the 2nd of March and Monday, the 9th of April, 2012 the second exhibition will celebrate Líneas de Trabajo in the Room o Exhibitions of the Municipal Palace of A Coruña.
This sample proposes a reflection on the paper of the drawing as tool of apprehension of the reality and as active agent in the definition of the architectural form; since plasmación in what it is being dressed and as projection in what is being imagined. For it, there assembles drawings of Spanish architects belonging to different generations – Andrew Fernandez-Albalat, Arturo Franco Taboada, Juan Domingo Santos, Carlos Quintáns, Carlos Pita, Toni Gironés, Juan Creus y Covadonga Carrasco, Ferrán Grau, Arturo Franco Díaz and Héctor Fernandez Elorza-, and divides them in two groups attending to his raison d’être: drawings trips and project drawings. If the first ones demonstrate the value of the sketch as reinforcement of the observation, in the second ones his use prevails as tool of formal exploration. The heterogeneity of the presented material underlines, on the one hand, the changes in the utilization of the drawing on the part of the architects throughout last decades, but it allows to feel also that treats itself – before everything – about a subjective expression, as individual as a calligraphy.
