José María Sánchez García raduates of the ETSAM the year 2002, then to found his study in Madrid. His work denotes a great worry and respect for the preexisting context, which has allowed him to control in an exceptional way delicate emplacements as the recovery of the environment of Templo de Diana in Merida, which was constituting the forum of the city in the Roman epoch. Across this work he understands himself as Estremadura, his region of origin, has marked strongly his work as for the presence and managing of the mass, very present in this rich context in historical constructions. This, mixed with pure geometries (probably inheritance of his step along Alberto Campo Baeza’s study), is what defines his architecture.
