Guía y Exposición “37º23’N 5º59’W. Sevilla Contemporánea: Arquitectura 2000-2010

Likewise, and on the occasion of the launch of this guide, an exhibition will carry out in the Hall of the Presidency of the University of Seville (C/San Fernando s/n), that us will discover the contemporary architecture of the city in the last decade. The inauguration of the exhibition will be Friday, the 15th from July to 20:30 and will remain opened until September 15, 2011.

In this guide Cross and Ortiz or MGM register numerous examples distinguished from the current architecture, from the young local architects to the already dedicated ones as Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra. Emphasizes likewise the presence of studies of confirmed international projection as Miralles Tagliabue Stony EMBT, Rafael de la Hoz, Grandson and Sobejano, Walls, Elías Torres-Martínez Lapeña, Juergen Mayer, Richard Rogers or Zaha Hadid, between different many.

The project 37º23’N 5º59’W arises from the initiative of three young studies of architecture with headquarters in Seville: second prize, Lugadero.y PIPO, and it has been possible thanks to the support of the Center of Cultural Initiatives of the University of Seville (CICUS) and of the Institute of the Culture and the Arts of Seville (ICAS).
