Abstract

The discipline of Aesthetics has always been part of the study plans of the Architecture career. Its inclusion seems so natural and logical that no legislator has dared to eliminate it. However, its teaching load is very small. It is taught in a single subject that, in addition, shares time with another related subject, Composition, so that it has been consolidated as one, Aesthetics and Composition. The latter, in recent times, has become independent and even gives its name to a department of Architectural Composition in many schools.
