Y por fuerza define tambi\u00e9n este libro, que parte de la idea de que ninguna ciencia es neutral y proyecta su premisa en la <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3wqiMJL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Historia de la arquitectura<\/em><\/a> con el objetivo de desvelar su discurso interno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cada \u00e9poca, cada generaci\u00f3n, ha interpretado el pasado desde las inquietudes del presente: entender este proceso es el prop\u00f3sito de la <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3wqiMJL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Historia de la Historia de la arquitectura<\/em><\/a>, un ensayo organizado mediante conceptos o paradigmas \u2014ret\u00f3rica, discurso, disciplina, sistema, ciencia, apolog\u00eda, cr\u00edtica\u2014 que muestran los muchos modos en los que, desde el <a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/los-laberintos-del-aire-vientos-miasmas-y-arquitectura-en-el-renacimiento\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Renacimiento<\/a>, se ha dado la historiograf\u00eda con relaci\u00f3n al contexto art\u00edstico, filol\u00f3gico, filos\u00f3fico o cient\u00edfico de cada momento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El resultado de este examen \u2014que obliga a la Historia a mirarse en el espejo de la historia\u2014 es un juego de reflejos entre lo que el ayer fue y lo que pretendemos que sea, entre la historia de los hechos y la Historia de los discursos; un juego complejo pero revelador que nos aleja de los dogmas tanto como nos previene de la tentaci\u00f3n de juzgar el pasado.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/eduardo-prieto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Eduardo Prieto\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es arquitecto y licenciado en Filosof\u00eda, adem\u00e1s de DEA en Est\u00e9tica y Teor\u00eda de las Artes y Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid. Sus investigaciones, centradas en la relaci\u00f3n entre arquitectura, pensamiento, t\u00e9cnica y medioambiente, han dado pie a libros como <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3mLUENa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Los laberintos del aire<\/em><\/a> (2023) \u2014un estudio sobre arquitectura y medioambiente en el Renacimiento\u2014,<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3KL2xdO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em> Historia medioambiental de la arquitectura<\/em><\/a> (2019, 2022) \u2014la primera en su g\u00e9nero\u2014, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3KGTlqS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>La vida de la materia<\/em><\/a> (2018) \u2014una exploraci\u00f3n al hilozo\u00edsmo en el arte y la arquitectura\u2014, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3GP1RmD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>La ley del reloj: arquitectura, m\u00e1quinas y cultura moderna<\/em><\/a> (2016) \u2014una historia de la met\u00e1fora de la m\u00e1quina desde los or\u00edgenes de la modernidad\u2014 y <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Lk8HmV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>La arquitectura de la ciudad global: redes, no-lugares, naturaleza<\/em><\/a> (2011) \u2014una radiograf\u00eda de la globalizaci\u00f3n\u2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ejerce como profesor de Historia de la Arquitectura en la UPM y ha sido <em>visiting scholar<\/em> en la Universidad de Harvard.
