Wim Wenders es un director que en los a\u00f1os ochenta nos fascin\u00f3 a los arquitectos gracias a pel\u00edculas como El cielo sobre Berl\u00edn<\/em> y Par\u00eds, Texas<\/em>, pero aunque no s\u00e9 muy bien cu\u00e1les han sido las causas, parece haber ca\u00eddo en desgracia en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, a pesar de pel\u00edculas notables, como\u00a0El final de la violencia<\/em>, The Million Dollar Hotel<\/em>, Tierra de abundancia<\/em> y Llamando a las puertas del cielo<\/a><\/em>, que diseccionan y analizan el paisaje estadounidense, como pocos cineastas lo han hecho hasta ahora.<\/p>\n

Precisamente,\u00a0por un art\u00edculo que estoy escribiendo sobre la relaci\u00f3n de las pel\u00edculas dirigidas por Wenders con el paisaje urbano americano, he encontrado en su p\u00e1gina web oficial datos sobre su \u00faltimo trabajo, un documental de veinte minutos de duraci\u00f3n, en tres dimensiones, que se exhibir\u00e1 en el Arsenale de Venecia, hasta finales\u00a0de noviembre, incluido dentro de la 12 Mostra Internazionale di Architettura<\/a>. Esta pel\u00edcula la ha rodado en el edificio del Rolex Learning Center, proyectado por los arquitectos Kazuyo Sejima<\/a> y Ryue Nishizawa<\/a>, o sea SANAA<\/a>\u00a0-por cierto, su p\u00e1gina web<\/a> es incre\u00edblemente escueta-, siendo la primera mencionada\u00a0la directora<\/a> de la Bienal de este a\u00f1o. De este edificio el cineasta\u00a0ha dicho que \u00abes m\u00e1s paisaje que edificio\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\n Some of them like us a lot, some less<\/em>
\n and some not at all.<\/em><\/p>\n

Buildings, like people, are subject to time<\/em>
\n and exist in a three-dimensional world.<\/em>
\n That\u2019s why our film is in 3D.<\/em>
\n It\u2019s an invitation to wander around,<\/em>
\n to experience and to listen, for once.<\/em><\/p>\n

The building you will encounter<\/em>
\n is a particularly gentle and friendly one,<\/em>
\n made for learning, reading and communicating.<\/em>
\n Its hills and valleys (yes, they exist in there)<\/em>

Wim Wenders is the director who in the eighties us fascinated to the architects thanks to movies as The sky on Berlin<\/em> and Paris, Texas<\/em>, but though I do not know very well which have been the reasons, seems to have fallen down in misfortune in the last years, in spite of notable movies, as The end of the violence<\/em>, The Million Dollar Hotel<\/em>, Earth of abundance<\/em> <\/em>and Calling on the verge of the sky<\/a><\/em>, that diseccionan and they analyze the American landscape, since few filmmakers have done it till now.<\/p>\n

Precisely, for an article that I am writing on the relation of the movies directed by Wenders with the urban American landscape, I have found in his official web page information on his last work, a documentary of twenty minutes of duration, in three dimensions, which one will exhibit in the Arsenale of Venice, until ends of November, included inside\u00a012 Mostra Internazionale di Architettura<\/a>. This movie has rolled it in the building of the Rolex Learning Center, projected by the architects Kazuyo Sejima<\/a> and Ryue Nishizawa<\/a>, or\u00a0SANAA<\/a> – certainly certain, his web page<\/a> is incredibly succinct-, being the first mentioned one the director<\/a> of the Biennial show of this year. Of this building the filmmaker has said that \u00abit is more landscape than building\u00bb.<\/p>\n
