De esta manera al espacio de liminar y fronterizo s\u00f3lo consiguen sobrevivir por un lado las construcciones rotundas, de masa, cerradas sobre s\u00ed mismas o bien en el extremo opuesto las arquitecturas fr\u00e1giles, ligeras y que son susceptibles de la movilidad, del cambio r\u00e1pido y la adaptaci\u00f3n flexible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unas aportan su masa, su corporeidad y su intenci\u00f3n de ser cuerpos inamovibles. Objetos pesados cuya densidad es muestra y prueba irrefutable de su inaccesibilidad. As\u00ed se entienden los cubos que fortalecen los lienzos de muralla y en otra escala, las fortalezas en avanzadilla protegiendo la ensenada mar\u00edtima. De la misma forma los b\u00fanqueres de costa que controlan amplias zonas de costa cubriendo con la f\u00edsica del radio de tiro<sup>1<\/sup>\u00a0el espacio interior del territorio o dominio a proteger. Son todas ellas arquitecturas de frontera, de lucha abierta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las otras, las del l\u00edmite, como obst\u00e1culo natural, son las n\u00f3madas, las del movimiento circunstancial o constante, arquitecturas que tienen el doble de arquitectura si as\u00ed pudi\u00e9semos hablar, que a los conceptos b\u00e1sicos del recinto y la protecci\u00f3n a\u00f1aden el de la ligereza y la racionalidad en su construcci\u00f3n y desmontaje que hace que sean transportables<sup>2<\/sup>\u00a0mostr\u00e1ndose de naturaleza dura, pero no r\u00edgida. Son flexibles en distintos sentidos, en el f\u00edsico propiamente dicho, soportando las mismas inclemencias que las construcciones fijas, o las todav\u00eda m\u00e1s duras de estos espacios desasosegados que son los l\u00edmites, y lo son tambi\u00e9n en el sentido de que admiten la variaci\u00f3n y la adaptaci\u00f3n del sistema en funci\u00f3n del paisaje en que se encuentren.
