Esta vivienda es la primera que realiza en Paris y en ella pone en pr\u00e1ctica sus ideas respecto a la arquitectura de los nuevos tiempos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ozenfant y Le Corbusier compart\u00edan una idea pl\u00e1stica narrada entre\u00a0 1918 y 1924 en la revista <a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/lesprit-nouveau\/\" target=\"_blank\">L\u2019\u00c9spirit Nouveau<\/a>. Una fachada dise\u00f1ada bajo un estricto orden matem\u00e1tico. Le Corbusier saca de contexto elementos caracter\u00edsticos de establecimientos fabriles para incorporarlos a la arquitectura dom\u00e9stica con nuevos significados. Para <a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/william-j-r-curtis\/\" target=\"_blank\">William J. R. Curtis<\/a>, esta intenci\u00f3n expresa una idea decisiva respecto a su arquitectura:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>el estudio de Ozenfant era un peque\u00f1o fragmento del sue\u00f1o maquinista de Le Corbusier: un l\u00edmpido santuario dedicado a <a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/lesprit-nouveau\/\" target=\"_blank\">L\u2019Espirit Nouveau<\/a>\u201d.<\/em><sup>1\u00a0<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los dientes de sierra que formaron parte del dise\u00f1o original de la cubierta -ahora inexistentes- y en las ventanas moduladas, establecen una novedosa discordancia en la imagen de la vivienda tradicional. Los planos transparentes se colocan a ras del muro exterior para adquirir una imagen de ingente ingravidez. Al respecto, Frampton, se\u00f1ala que en el taller Ozenfant, Le Corbusier<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201ctraspone por as\u00ed decirlo,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/maison-citrohan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">el prototipo Citrohan<\/a>\u00a0a un volumen cubico \u00fanico, el taller, alrededor del cual el resto de la casa se dispone de manera relativamente inc\u00f3moda. El taller de doble altura est\u00e1 iluminado en dos lados adyacentes y por un chasis acristalado en el techo. Es, de forma manifiesta, en oposici\u00f3n a las estancias de vivienda, el espacio purista privilegiado\u201d.<sup>2<\/sup><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es efectivamente en el atelier ubicado en el piso superior donde la idea se manifiesta con mayor \u00e9nfasis. El uso de iluminaci\u00f3n cenital natural, filtrada por un cielorraso de cristal ahumado, permite distribuir la luz de manera uniforme y le confiere al local un car\u00e1cter novedoso y pr\u00e1ctico. La orientaci\u00f3n norte y este de los lados exteriores del terreno facilitan la intenci\u00f3n de colocar grandes pa\u00f1os de carpinter\u00edas en ambas caras, simplificando las fuentes luminosas. La escalerilla que conduce al altillo ratifica esa visi\u00f3n maquinista. Presenta una evidente similitud con las escaleras interiores de los barcos, evocaci\u00f3n po\u00e9tica a la m\u00e1quina de vapor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le Corbusier exterioriza en esta obra su avidez por transformar el entorno moderno de manera racional, mediante formas de car\u00e1cter universal que expresan su gusto por la geometr\u00eda y su inter\u00e9s por el mundo mecanizado. This house is the first one in Paris and in it he puts into practice his ideas regarding the architecture of the new times.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ozenfant and Le Corbusier shared a plastic idea narrated between 1918 and 1924 in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/lesprit-nouveau\/\" target=\"_blank\">L\u2019\u00c9spirit Nouveau<\/a> magazine. A facade designed under a strict mathematical order. Le Corbusier takes characteristic elements of manufacturing establishments out of context to incorporate them into domestic architecture with new meanings. For <a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/en\/tag\/william-j-r-curtis\/\" target=\"_blank\">William J. R. Curtis<\/a>,\u00a0 this intention expresses a decisive idea regarding its architecture:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>Ozenfant&#8217;s study was a small fragment of Le Corbusier&#8217;s machinist dream: a clear sanctuary dedicated to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/lesprit-nouveau\/\" target=\"_blank\">L\u2019Espirit Nouveau<\/a>\u201d.<\/em><sup>1\u00a0<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The saw teeth that were part of the original design of the roof &#8211; now non-existent &#8211; and in the modulated windows, establish a novel disagreement in the image of the traditional dwelling. The transparent planes are placed flush with the outer wall to acquire an image of enormous weightlessness. In this regard, Frampton points out that in the Ozenfant workshop, Le Corbusier<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cIt transposes, so to speak, <a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/en\/maison-citrohan\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Citrohan prototype<\/a> to a single cubic volume, the workshop, around which the rest of the house is arranged relatively uncomfortably. The double height workshop is illuminated on two adjacent sides and by a glazed roof chassis. It is, manifestly, as opposed to housing stays, the privileged purist space<\/em><em>\u201d.<sup>2<\/sup><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is indeed in the atelier located on the upper floor where the idea is manifested with greater emphasis. The use of natural zenithal lighting, filtered by a smoked glass ceiling, allows the light to be distributed evenly and gives the premises a novel and practical character. The north and east orientation of the outer sides of the land facilitate the intention of placing large carpentry cloths on both sides, simplifying the light sources. The ladder that leads to the loft confirms that machinist vision. It presents an evident similarity with the internal stairs of the ships, poetic evocation to the steam engine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le Corbusier externalizes in this work his eagerness to transform the modern environment in a rational way, by means of universal character forms that express his taste for geometry and his interest in the mechanized world.
