Mat\u00edas del Campo, chileno afincado en Austria desde hace a\u00f1os, es el fundador de SPAN Arquitectura, estudio que ha firmado proyectos por toda Europa, China y Sudam\u00e9rica, cosechando multitud de premios. Su trabajo se caracteriza por la b\u00fasqueda de ambientes contempor\u00e1neos y la utilizaci\u00f3n de las m\u00e1s vanguardistas formas de construcci\u00f3n. Otra constante en sus proyectos es la aplicaci\u00f3n de herramientas de generaci\u00f3n de algoritmos y la reproducci\u00f3n de estructuras bi\u00f3nicas basadas en la naturaleza, aspecto en el que centrar\u00e1 su intervenci\u00f3n de ma\u00f1ana. La estructura de dos pisos es producto del dise\u00f1o desarrollado por SPAN y Arquitectos Zeytinoglu, ambos con sede en Viena. Con una superficie sin fisuras ni juntas que evoca estructuras biol\u00f3gicas, la fachada del pabell\u00f3n est\u00e1 cubierta por diez millones de azulejos, un volumen biom\u00f3rfico envuelto en una brillante piel de porcelana. Seg\u00fan Del Campo, \u00abla arquitectura del proyecto se basa en la idea de continuidad, con superficies suaves, un concepto que desarrolla un flujo continuo dentro del pabell\u00f3n y que a su vez ofrece una mezcla sutil entre el exterior y el interior\u00bb.
