El premio reconoce su continuada intervenci\u00f3n en el casco hist\u00f3rico de una forma \u00abintegral\u00bb y \u00abmod\u00e9lica\u00bb. La oficina de rehabilitaci\u00f3n de Santiago de Compostela result\u00f3 galardonada ayer con el premio Ciudades Patrimonio de la Humanidad del Ministerio de Cultura, dotado con 30.000 euros, por su \u00abcontinuada\u00bb rehabilitaci\u00f3n del casco antiguo de la ciudad. El premio reconoce su continuada intervenci\u00f3n en el casco hist\u00f3rico de una forma \u00abintegral\u00bb y \u00abmod\u00e9lica\u00bb. En opini\u00f3n del jurado, el modo de acometer arquitect\u00f3nica y urban\u00edsticamente el proyecto premiado, ejemplarizado en este caso en trece intervenciones, mantiene el car\u00e1cter monumental del casco hist\u00f3rico de la ciudad al tiempo que \u00abfavorece su habitabilidad\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Esta es la segunda ocasi\u00f3n en que Compostela recibe este galard\u00f3n. Ya lo obtuvo, tambi\u00e9n en el primer puesto, en el 2005. Ambos forman parte ya, seg\u00fan el alcalde santiagu\u00e9s, que ayer recibi\u00f3 la noticia en Bruselas, de una larga lista de premios por la actividad rehabilitadora de la ciudad, entre los que est\u00e1 el de la agencia H\u00e1bitat de Naciones Unidas.<\/p>\n

El segundo premio en esta edici\u00f3n, dotado con 20.000 euros, correspondi\u00f3 al proyecto de rehabilitaci\u00f3n de la Casa de la Moneda de Segovia, que supone la recuperaci\u00f3n arquitect\u00f3nica de un edificio dise\u00f1ado por Juan Herrera. \u00abSe trata de una intervenci\u00f3n de gran envergadura tratada de manera respetuosa con el paisaje, la arquitectura y la historia de este complejo arquitect\u00f3nico\u00bb, seg\u00fan el Ministerio de Cultura.<\/p>\n

The office of rehabilitation of Santiago de Compostela resulted awarded yesterday with the prize Cities Heritage of the Mankind of the Ministry of culture, endowed with 30.000 euros, by his \u00abcontinued\u00bb rehabilitation of the ancient helmet of the city. The prize recognises his continued intervention in the historical helmet of an integral \u00abform\u00bb and \u00abmod\u00e9lica\u00bb. In opinion of the jury, the way of acometer architectural and urban\u00edsticamente the project rewarded, ejemplarizado in this case in thirteen interventions, keeps the monumental character of the historical helmet of the city to the time that \u00abfavours his habitabilitat\u00bb.<\/p>\n

This is the second occasion in that Compostela receives this galard\u00f3n. Already it obtained it, also in the first place, in the 2005.
