Dibujo de Casto Fern\u00e9ndez-Shaw<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Revisando la obra del arquitecto\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.museoreinasofia.es\/coleccion\/autor\/fernandez-shaw-casto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casto Fern\u00e1ndez-Shaw<\/a>, he encontrado que muchos n\u00fameros de su revista\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/buscador.php?accion=VerFicha&amp;id=19842&amp;pagina=5&amp;tipodoc=docs_hijos&amp;dia_inicio=&amp;mes_inicio=&amp;anio_inicio=&amp;dia_final=&amp;mes_final=&amp;anio_final=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Cortijos y rascacielos<\/i><\/a>\u00a0est\u00e1 digitalizada y se puede acceder a ella en\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/home.php?accion=Home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Memoria de Madrid<\/a>.\u00a0En el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/buscador.php?accion=VerFicha&amp;id=19846&amp;num_id=2&amp;num_total=59\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">n\u00famero tres de esa\u00a0revista<\/a>, editado en el invierno de 1930, se public\u00f3 uno de sus proyectos visionarios, en este caso el del\u00a0<strong>Cine Monumental<\/strong>, del que solo se muestra en una sola p\u00e1gina la ilustraci\u00f3n que est\u00e1 al lado y el siguiente texto:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>\u00ab\u00bfExceso de originalidad? \u00bfVisi\u00f3n del futuro?<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><i>En 1909 Bleriot atraviesa el Canal de la Man<\/i><i>cha. En 1930 se da con facilidad e<\/i>l\u00a0<i>salto del Oc\u00e9ano.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><i>El cinemat\u00f3grafo balbucea en los comienzos del siglo. Hoy habla en todos los idiomas.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><i>Las ciudades han de transformar su estructura y adaptarla a las nuevas necesidades.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><i>\u00bfEs por tanto aventurado el pensar que en plazo no lejano se construir\u00e1n edificios como el que presentamos a nuestros lectores?<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><i>La planta del cinemat\u00f3grafo es octogonal. La m\u00e1quina, colocada en el centro del edificio, proyecta la pel\u00edcula simult\u00e1neamente en ocho pantallas que dan lugar a otros tantos sectores de p\u00fablico.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><i>En estas pantallas se ver\u00e1 la pel\u00edcula, desde el exterior, en determinados momentos, para atraer a los transe\u00fantes.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><i>Colocado el edificio en el centro de una gran plaza se llegar\u00e1 a \u00e9l por v\u00eda subterr\u00e1nea y a\u00e9rea. Debuxo de Casto Fern\u00e9ndez-Shaw<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Revisando a obra do arquitecto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museoreinasofia.es\/coleccion\/autor\/fernandez-shaw-casto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casto Fern\u00e1ndez-Shaw<\/a>, atopei que moitos n\u00fameros da s\u00faa revista <a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/buscador.php?accion=VerFicha&amp;id=19842&amp;pagina=5&amp;tipodoc=docs_hijos&amp;dia_inicio=&amp;mes_inicio=&amp;anio_inicio=&amp;dia_final=&amp;mes_final=&amp;anio_final=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Cortellos\u00a0e ra\u00f1aceos<\/i><\/a> est\u00e1 dixitalizada e p\u00f3dese acceder a ela en <a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/home.php?accion=Home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Memoria de Madrid<\/a>. No n\u00famero tres desa revista, editado no inverno de 1930, publicouse un dos seus proxectos visionarios, neste caso o do <strong>Cinema Monumental<\/strong>, do que s\u00f3 se mostra nunha soa p\u00e1xina a ilustraci\u00f3n que est\u00e1 \u00e1 beira e o seguinte texto:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>\u00abExceso de orixinalidade? Visi\u00f3n do futuro? <\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>En 1909 Bleriot atravesa a Canle da Mancha. En 1930 d\u00e1se con facilidade o salto do Oc\u00e9ano. <\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>O cinemat\u00f3grafo balbucea nos comezos do s\u00e9culo.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>Hoxe fala en todos os idiomas. As cidades han de transformar a s\u00faa estrutura e adaptala \u00e1s novas necesidades. <\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>\u00c9 por tanto aventurado o pensar que en prazo non afastado construiranse edificios como o que presentamos aos nosos lectores? <\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>A planta do cinemat\u00f3grafo \u00e9 octogonal. A m\u00e1quina, colocada no centro do edificio, proxecta a pel\u00edcula simultaneamente en oito pantallas que dan lugar a outros tantos sectores de p\u00fablico. <\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>Nestas pantallas verase a pel\u00edcula, desde o exterior, en determinados momentos, para atraer aos transe\u00fantes. <\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>Colocado o edificio no centro dunha gran praza chegarase a el por v\u00eda subterr\u00e1nea e a\u00e9rea. <\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>A terraza servir\u00e1 para a aterraxe de avionetas e autogiros, modernos taxis a\u00e9reos. Sketch by Casto Fern\u00e9ndez-Shaw<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reviewing the work of the architect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museoreinasofia.es\/coleccion\/autor\/fernandez-shaw-casto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casto Fern\u00e1ndez-Shaw<\/a>, I have found that many issues of his magazine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/buscador.php?accion=VerFicha&amp;id=19842&amp;pagina=5&amp;tipodoc=docs_hijos&amp;dia_inicio=&amp;mes_inicio=&amp;anio_inicio=&amp;dia_final=&amp;mes_final=&amp;anio_final=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Cortijos y rascacielos<\/i><\/a> are digitized and can be accessed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/home.php?accion=Home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Memoria de Madrid<\/a>. In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.memoriademadrid.es\/buscador.php?accion=VerFicha&amp;id=19846&amp;num_id=2&amp;num_total=59\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">number three<\/a> of that magazine, published in the winter of 1930, one of his visionary projects was published, in this case the <strong>Monumental Cinema<\/strong>, of which only the illustration that is next and the following text is shown in a single page:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><i>\u00ab<\/i>Excess of originality? Vision of the future?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">In 1909 Bleriot crosses the English Channel. In 1930 the jump of the Ocean is easily given.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">The cinematographer babbles at the beginning of the century. The machine, placed in the center of the building, projects the film simultaneously in eight screens that give rise to other sectors of the public.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">In these screens you will see the film, from the outside, at certain times, to attract passers-by.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">Placed the building in the center of a large square will be reached by underground and air.
