Aunque se ha convertido en un centro de peregrinaci\u00f3n para cientos de arquitectos de todo el mundo, el gimnasio madrile\u00f1o es poco conocido por los ciudadanos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La protecci\u00f3n del edificio se enmarca en un proyecto para divulgar la arquitectura moderna.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/alejandro-de-la-sota\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Alejandro de la Sota<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0aprovech\u00f3 al m\u00e1ximo el espacio y convirti\u00f3 un encargo convencional en un hito. Le pidieron un gimnasio y \u00e9l les dio un polideportivo, unas aulas, unas pistas al aire libre y un s\u00f3tano que se convertir\u00eda m\u00e1s tarde en una piscina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En vez de usar pilares, emple\u00f3 grandes cerchas invertidas y en sus huecos, colgadas sobre el gimnasio, meti\u00f3 varias aulas con forma de auditorio.
