Arquitectura antes de la arquitectura o arquitectura sin un lugar o arquitectura en cualquier lugar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Construir una maqueta es anticipar ese futuro; es establecer de antemano (y sin riesgo de equivocarse) una determinada concepci\u00f3n del mundo o de un territorio; una representaci\u00f3n a escala de una idea que devendr\u00e1 espacio tangible, real, habitable. Como apunta el escritor y periodista <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Juan_Jos%C3%A9_Mill%C3%A1s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Juan Jos\u00e9 Millas<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEn las maquetas no hay huelguistas, ni manifestantes, ni pobres, no hay cacas de perro, no hay viento, jam\u00e1s llueve, no hace ni fr\u00edo ni calor. De la maqueta no llegan gritos de contribuyentes indignados preguntando a las autoridades de d\u00f3nde van a sacar el dinero para la obra fara\u00f3nica que se proponen perpetrar. En las maquetas, los retretes est\u00e1n siempre limpios y los \u00e1rboles son de hoja perenne y el agua del estanque es cristalina.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por eso la maqueta es la herramienta preferida de pol\u00edticos y arquitectos que, que como no pueden controlar el mundo que les rodea, prefieren imaginarlo en miniatura, respondiendo a lo que dec\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/tag\/gaston-bachelard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Bachelard<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c[poseemos] el mundo tanto m\u00e1s cuanta mayor habilidad tenga[mos] para miniaturizarlo\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La destrucci\u00f3n (parcial) de la maqueta no s\u00f3lo contestar\u00eda a la idea establecida por Millas, sino que trata de posicionarse en la voluntad de que la arquitectura no puede solidificar modelos ideales, limpios y ordenados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si una maqueta es, como ya se ha dicho, una mirada al futuro, la maqueta quemada representa entonces la propia noci\u00f3n de fracaso: Una promesa frustrada, un futuro imperfecto, una utop\u00eda sin utop\u00eda.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_67434\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-67434\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-67434 size-full\" title=\"Ciudad radiante. M\u00e1s bien, me interesa entender c\u00f3mo las representaciones de la arquitectura, el paisaje, el dise\u00f1o o el territorio construyen y materializan determinados discursos ideol\u00f3gicos, imponiendo posturas, subjetividades y formas de acci\u00f3n sobre los cuerpos que la habitan. En mi trabajo edito estos discursos \u2013sus im\u00e1genes, sus historias o sus restos materiales\u2013 y reelaboro comentarios cr\u00edticos que ponen en evidencia sus controversias y contradicciones, formaliz\u00e1ndolos en diversos formatos como textos, fotograf\u00edas, v\u00eddeos, objetos o instalaciones, muchas veces entrecruzados entre s\u00ed. He publicado art\u00edculos y ensayos en diversos medios de Estados Unidos, Italia, Croacia, Espa\u00f1a, Chile y M\u00e9xico.
