Con frecuencia pensamos torpemente en la palabra como un mero utensilio a trav\u00e9s del cual tratamos de explicitar nuestros mensajes y nuestros argumentos, pobre\u00a0<em>palabrer\u00eda\u00a0<\/em>alrededor de -pongamos- la arquitectura. Sin embargo, en ocasiones pareciera que estos conjuntos ordenados de letras formaran con anterioridad y por s\u00ed mismos, si no una arquitectura, s\u00ed al menos un lugar, un pre\u00e1mbulo luminoso de la existencia de objetos, paisajes o habitaciones. Para Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Valente, antes que nada, la palabra ser\u00e1\u00a0<em>luz<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00abluz,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>donde a\u00fan no forma<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>su innumerable rostro lo visible\u00bb<\/em>.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las relaciones entre arquitectura y lenguaje han sido convenientemente estudiadas en numerosos textos, art\u00edculos e incluso mapas desde la academia<sup>2<\/sup>. Algunos arquitectos han cultivado sus propias palabras y esperado pacientemente sus\u00a0<em>frutos<\/em>: Buckminster Fuller en su Diccionario de Sinergias propone una colecci\u00f3n de t\u00e9rminos inventados que habr\u00edan de estimular su propia arquitectura:\u00a0<em>tensegrity<\/em>,\u00a0<em>livingry,<\/em>\u00a0<em>dymaxion<\/em>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A veces necesitamos inventar un\u00a0<em>diccionario<\/em>, patentar la singularidad de unas ideas desde la instauraci\u00f3n de ciertas contrase\u00f1as o neologismos. Palabras\u00a0<em>llave<\/em>. En otras ocasiones ser\u00e1 la propia arquitectura la que soporte -no sin sorpresa- palabras sencillas e inesperadas, mensajes que consigan desvelar el mundo desde lo alto: recordemos que -por alg\u00fan motivo- \u00c1lvaro Siza acepta el conocido\u00a0<em>Bonjour Tristesse<\/em>\u00a0en Berl\u00edn a finales de los ochenta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Palabras\u00a0<em>patrimonio<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sobre la libertad de las palabras, su autonom\u00eda respecto a nosotros, no parece sencillo aventurar ni una sola respuesta ni conclusi\u00f3n<sup>3<\/sup>. Quiz\u00e1 la concreci\u00f3n del ejemplo nos asista: la palabra \u00ablugar\u00bb designaba en su origen -hace miles de a\u00f1os- un claro en el bosque. Often we think stubbornly about the word as a mere utensil across which we treat of explicitar our messages and our arguments, poor <em>fllood of words about<\/em> &#8211; we put &#8211; the architecture. Nevertheless, in occasions it was looking like that these sets been ordained as letters were forming previously and for yes same, if not an architecture, yes at least a place, a luminous preamble of the existence of objects, landscapes or rooms. For Jose \u00c1ngel Valente, first of all, the word will be a <em>light<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00abLight<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>here still his innumerable face does not form\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>the visible thing\u00bb<\/em>.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The relations between architecture and language have been suitably studied in numerous texts, articles and enclosedly maps from the academy<sup>2<\/sup>. In other occasions it will be the own architecture the one that he supports &#8211; not without surprise &#8211; simple and unexpected words, messages that manage to reveal the world from the high thing: let&#8217;s remember that &#8211; for some motive &#8211; \u00c1lvaro Siza accepts the acquaintance <em>Bonjour Tristesse<\/em> in Berlin at the end of the eighties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Words<em> heritage<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the freedom of the words, his autonomy with regard to us, it does not seem to be simple neither an alone response nor conclusion venture<sup>3<\/sup>. Probably the concretion of the example attends us: the word \u00abplace\u00bb was designating in his origin &#8211; it does thousands of years &#8211; the clear one in the forest.
