El autor luso exhibe en la Fundaci\u00f3n Barri\u00e9 14 proyectos en los que destaca su apuesta por \u00abcontenedores de vida\u00bb, el respeto al paisaje, a la cultura y a la historia. Empieza evocando una visita a la ciudad cuando ten\u00eda unos once a\u00f1os, \u00abhabit\u00e1bamos en el centro-norte de Portugal y pasamos un s\u00e1bado y un domingo aqu\u00ed\u00bb. El mayor recuerdo es una ruidosa carrera de motos en el centro de A Coru\u00f1a con un buen n\u00famero de accidentes. Esto evocaba ayer Gon\u00e7alo Byrne, mientras repasaba los \u00faltimos detalles de la exposici\u00f3n que inaugura hoy en la Fundaci\u00f3n Barri\u00e9, formada por 14 de sus proyectos, en la primera muestra de este tipo que hace en Espa\u00f1a. Un denominador com\u00fan de todos ellos es la importancia que este multipremiado autor da a la presencia humana, a la relaci\u00f3n del hombre con el medio. \u00abLos arquitectos tenemos que dar forma y dar habitabilidad a los espacios, no solo para contener la vida, sino para potenciar esta vida; la cosa m\u00e1s importante en la arquitectura es si nosotros podemos dar contributos para que a la gente le guste las ciudades donde habitan, que tengan esa sensaci\u00f3n de amor a su ciudad, de participar en ella\u00bb, explicaba did\u00e1cticamente.<\/p>\n
