El coche el\u00e9ctrico es el nuevo para\u00edso sostenible y esta nueva visi\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo individual permite a ciertas arquitecturas capaces de manejar estos mensajes pseudo-publicitarios generar nuevos edificios que incorporen todas estas tem\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La aparici\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo privado supuso como no pod\u00eda ser de otra manera, una nueva reformulaci\u00f3n de las ciudades, del entendimiento de la movilidad y de los propios edificios. El coche introdujo nuevas problem\u00e1ticas a resolver en los edificios, como radios de giro, circulaciones o espacios de aparcamiento, as\u00ed como nuevos programas tales como gasolineras, edificios de aparcamientos, concesionarios etc. La nueva sociedad que surg\u00eda con la libertad asociada al autom\u00f3vil reclamaba nuevas arquitecturas y sin lugar a dudas la atracci\u00f3n por la m\u00e1quina y los mecanismos ingenieriles que sufri\u00f3 el movimiento moderno son deudores de esas ilusiones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proyectos como el garaje para 1000 veh\u00edculos en Par\u00eds dise\u00f1ado por Konstantin Melnikov en 1925, o sus evoluciones como el construido en 1927 los Garages Bakhmetevsky en Mosc\u00fa, en colaboraci\u00f3n con Vladimir Shukhov. Son claros ejemplos de edificios en los que el uso de sistemas industriales aplicados a la arquitectura de vanguardia y la fascinaci\u00f3n de la vanguardia por el poder ilimitado de la revoluci\u00f3n industrial daban como resultado arquitecturas solamente entendibles bajo esas circunstancias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hoy en d\u00eda, la crisis energ\u00e9tica, medioambiental y como no la econ\u00f3mica han reposicionado la potencia industrial bajo la premisa, a estas alturas inexcusable, de la sostenibilidad. Desde esta \u00f3ptica se puede entender el surgimiento de edificios como el museo del transporte de Suiza, obra de los arquitectos <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gigon-guyer.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gigon y Guyer<\/a> inaugurada recientemente en Lucerna. Las fachadas del edificio, un gran contenedor que alberga en su interior todo tipo de camiones, furgonetas y veh\u00edculos son obvias e iconogr\u00e1ficamente rotundas. La m\u00e1s llamativa es la piel-patchwork de se\u00f1ales recicladas de las autopistas suizas. El edificio situado en un nudo de autopistas se presenta como un gran cilindro cuya envolvente se construye a partir de los restos reciclados de los propios objetos que se expondr\u00e1n en el interior del edificio, esto es, la carrocer\u00eda de autom\u00f3viles que, tras perder su uso y ser despojadas del motor y del resto de las piezas recuperables del complejo mecanismo que supone un coche, ser\u00e1 limpiada y aplastada para pasar a ser parte esencial del cerramiento del edificio. Antonio Va\u00edllo y Juan Luis Irigaray han reinterpretado en este edificio la ya m\u00edtica envolvente de gaviones que encerraban piedras de basalto para filtrar la luz y mantener la idea de cueva de las bodegas Domino en el valle californiano de Napa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s de actuar como un envoltorio t\u00e9rmico la piel exterior p\u00e9trea transportaba al espectador hacia los materiales del lugar, hacia las rocas del paisaje e incluso hacia lenguajes cercanos al Land-art.
