La ciudad imaginaria.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Las d\u00e9cadas de posguerra civil espa\u00f1ola no se tratan de un pasado muerto, se trata mas bien de una visi\u00f3n del presente. Un inventario de indicios quiz\u00e1s pueden revelarnos lo que ha ocurrido. Recomponer las piezas, contextualizar la realidad pol\u00edtica y social que viv\u00eda el pa\u00eds, para poder entender mejor el presente. La concesi\u00f3n de cr\u00e9ditos \u00a0por parte de EE.UU a cambio del establecimiento de bases militares norteamericanas en territorio espa\u00f1ol, el Congreso Eucar\u00edstico celebrado en 1952 en Barcelona y las pol\u00edticas del ministerio de Vivienda creado en 1957 no son hechos neutros para la transformaci\u00f3n de la ciudad.<\/p>\n

Ciudad Meridiana, es un barrio perife\u0301rico de la ciudad de Barcelona, y es el objeto de estudio de este ensayo documental dadas su caracteri\u0301sticas tanto histo\u0301ricas como formales. Construida a finales de la de\u0301cada de los sesenta del siglo XX, como respuesta a la necesidad masiva de vivienda provocada por la ola de inmigracio\u0301n procedente mayoritariamente del mundo rural, se planific\u00f3 ocupando unos terrenos desestimados anteriormente por la humedad del lugar.<\/p>\n

Fueron considerados adecuados, sin embargo y a pesar de las condiciones orogr\u00e1ficas, para la edificacio\u0301n de grandes bloques de viviendas escalonados entre s\u00ed para poder adaptarse a la topografi\u0301a, pero pra\u0301cticamente sin dotacio\u0301n de servicios urbanos y equipamientos ba\u0301sicos.<\/p>\n

Ciudad Meridiana como paradigma del barrio que tal vez nunca debi\u00f3 de haberse construido, un barrio marcado por las luchas vecinales que tratan de visibilidar su existencia bajo la sombra de la marca Barcelona.<\/p>\n
