Can Lis es una de las cuatro casas proyectadas para \u00e9l y su familia y que componen una maravillosa serie que expresa el sentido del habitar utzoniano en \u00e9pocas y lugares bien diferentes: desde su primera casa en Helleb\u00e6k (Dinamarca, 1952) pasando por su proyecto de Bayview (Australia, 1964) hasta las dos casa de Mallorca <a href=\"http:\/\/canlis.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Can Lis<\/a> (1972) y Can Feliz (1994).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Situada en un espectacular emplazamiento al borde del mar, Can Lis es la m\u00e1s po\u00e9tica y radical de todas ellas y su raz\u00f3n de ser hay que buscarla necesariamente en tierras muy lejanas. En 1957 a los 38 a\u00f1os de edad, Utzon se convierte en un arquitecto de fama mundial al ganar el concurso internacional de la \u00d3pera de S\u00eddney. Pero la construcci\u00f3n de su hermosa propuesta para la bah\u00eda de S\u00eddney dist\u00f3 mucho de ser un camino de rosas. Las formas de la \u00d3pera nacieron de su sensibilidad, imaginaci\u00f3n y su gran intuici\u00f3n constructiva; eran un desaf\u00edo a la convenci\u00f3n y a la tecnolog\u00eda del momento. Utzon tuvo que desarrollar una geometr\u00eda y una construcci\u00f3n para hacer realidad esta arquitectura que estaba concebida como un gran desaf\u00edo arquitect\u00f3nico.<sup><sup>1<\/sup><\/sup> Pero una campa\u00f1a pol\u00edtica populista, sustentada en la cr\u00edtica al car\u00e1cter experimental de esta arquitectura y al meticuloso proceso de investigaci\u00f3n de Utzon, fuerza la amarga renuncia del arquitecto dan\u00e9s que abandonar\u00eda Australia en la primavera de 1966 para no volver jam\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En S\u00eddney, Utzon refuerza la idea de la arquitectura como una experiencia sensible y humana surgida del \u00e1mbito de la imaginaci\u00f3n y la fantas\u00eda. Para \u00e9l la misi\u00f3n del arquitecto debe ser encontrar la liberaci\u00f3n de esas fuerzas creativas interiores; dominar la tecnolog\u00eda para construir los sue\u00f1os. El resultado es la \u201carquitectura aditiva\u201d que pretende dar respuesta a las necesidades humanas agrupando los elementos constructivos proporcionados por la industria en patrones de crecimiento org\u00e1nico. La idea es alejarse de la casa como una caja de tama\u00f1o predeterminado y compartimentada convencionalmente, por el contrario se busca una combinaci\u00f3n de elementos o piezas que respondan a las necesidades humanas. Encajada entre el borde del mar y el camino posterior Can Lis es una casa que se disgrega en cuatro vol\u00famenes articulados por medio de muros y patios. La primera pieza es un gran patio porticado abierto al mar para la vida al aire libre, el segundo volumen es un espacio para estar en torno al fuego y a las vistas que penetran por unas troneras acristaladas. Los vol\u00famenes tercero y cuarto son los dormitorios que cuentan con unos peque\u00f1os porches vinculados a las estancias. Estos cuatro elementos apenas tienen como uni\u00f3n el muro posterior que limita con el camino y sirve de gu\u00eda al corredor al aire libre que conecta todas las piezas. En continuidad con los proyectos precedentes, la idea del muro como elemento generador de la casa ya hab\u00eda sido estudiado por Utzon en su primera casa en Helleb\u00e6k (Dinamarca, 1952) mientras que la fragmentaci\u00f3n volum\u00e9trica por usos y la modularidad constructiva se hab\u00eda desarrollado en el proyecto de Bayview (Australia, 1964).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis se proyecta con el paisaje y la luz como elemento esencial. La presencia del mar es tan rotunda que Utzon estima que no es necesario a\u00f1adirle a la casa decoraci\u00f3n alguna y, como mobiliario, s\u00f3lo dispone unos sencillos bancos construidos con piedra de mar\u00e9s y revestidos con azulejos locales. Al visitar la casa uno es consciente de la voluntad de Utzon de hacer una arquitectura que sea la justa expresi\u00f3n de las necesidades esenciales del hombre, tanto materiales como espirituales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis pertenece a la escala humana, su monumentalidad responde m\u00e1s a la pureza de sus espacios que a sus proporciones y dimensiones. Can Lis es la respuesta a un sentido del habitar que entiende la vida como un conjunto de peque\u00f1os actos: andar, estar de pie, sentarse, tumbarse, disfrutar del sol y del agua. Esta atemporalidad no se puede definir, seg\u00fan Norberg Schulz, como una abstracta sensaci\u00f3n de no pertenecer a ning\u00fan periodo hist\u00f3rico sino como algo eterno que forma parte del lugar. Es Can Lis un magn\u00edfico ejemplo de arquitectura cl\u00e1sica, entendiendo el clasicismo no como una mera cuesti\u00f3n formal o de estilo sino como una voluntad de permanencia, de eternidad y que, en este caso, no proviene del natural viaje por las orillas del Mediterr\u00e1neo, entre el oriente de Grecia y la isla de Mallorca, sino que recorre Europa desde el renacimiento italiano y las villas de Palladio hasta la obra de sus maestros Erik Gunnar Asplund y Alvar Aalto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis surge como s\u00edntesis entre el paisaje y el modesto pero esencial sentido del habitar utzoniano, cuya voluntad de sincera sencillez se traslada al proceso constructivo. Al contrario que en la \u00d3pera de S\u00eddney y su laborioso proceso de proyecto y ejecuci\u00f3n de obra, en Mallorca Utzon acorta el tr\u00e1nsito entre la idea y su materializaci\u00f3n, entre el pensamiento y la obra. Se construye con lo justo y lo necesario desarroll\u00e1ndose simult\u00e1neamente proyecto y obra con un reducido n\u00famero de planos iniciales y maquetas a escala real. El arquitecto, con su familia, decid\u00eda en el lugar la disposici\u00f3n y altura de los muros, la forma de los huecos o el sitio apropiado para sentarse; todo esto se materializaba gracias a la estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con un constructor local a qui\u00e9n Utzon explicaba en un bar, con terrones de az\u00facar, la forma del proyecto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como hab\u00eda visto en sus viajes por M\u00e9xico o Marruecos, Utzon recupera en Can Lis una tradici\u00f3n constructiva en armon\u00eda con el lugar y sus materiales. Los muros y columnas de la casa son de una f\u00e1brica toscamente rejuntada de piedra de mar\u00e9s; con esta arenisca se ha construido en la isla de Mallorca desde la catedral de Palma hasta los caracter\u00edsticos <em>marges<\/em>, muros de mamposter\u00eda seca que se utilizan en toda las isla tanto para delimitar propiedades como muros de contenci\u00f3n y abancalamientos. Los pavimentos y muros interiores son de piedra de Santany\u00ed, tambi\u00e9n una arenisca local pero m\u00e1s dura y oscura. La piedra se coloca sin tratamientos superficiales, seg\u00fan sale del proceso de corte: se pueden apreciar con claridad en toda la casa las marcas del aserrado en los sillares. Los forjados se realizan con viguetas prefabricadas sobre las que apoyan unas bovedillas cer\u00e1micas. Las cubiertas son planas y la teja \u00e1rabe se utiliza como remate de los muros, detalle que Utzon hab\u00eda incorporado de la arquitectura tradicional china.<sup>2<\/sup> Las carpinter\u00edas exteriores son de pino norte mallorqu\u00edn. Desde 1973 Can Lis fue la casa de vacaciones de J\u00f8rn Utzon y su familia y all\u00ed siguieron viviendo cuando aumentaron los per\u00edodos de estancia en la isla. Pero en 1983, al convertirse en residentes permanentes en Mallorca, reconsideran su idea inicial de construir una casa en el interior de la isla; ser\u00e1 su cuarta casa, Can Feliz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Feliz se localiza en una parcela que los Utzon hab\u00edan adquirido en Felanitx a su regreso de Australia. Las primeras propuestas son de 1972, pero problemas legales impiden finalmente su ejecuci\u00f3n y es entonces cuando se deciden a construir Can Lis. Finalizada en 1994, esta es una vivienda m\u00e1s grande con mayores servicios y comodidades pero tambi\u00e9n con una luminosidad y unas vistas m\u00e1s matizadas. A pesar de ser 20 a\u00f1os m\u00e1s moderna Utzon utiliza los mismos sistemas constructivos que en Can Lis con la excepci\u00f3n de la cubierta en la que opta por una soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s tradicional de planos inclinados con teja \u00e1rabe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De las razones para el abandono de Can Lis quiz\u00e1s la m\u00e1s difundida es que debido a su f\u00e1cil acceso se ve\u00eda invadida con frecuencia por amantes de la arquitectura impidiendo de esta manera la debida privacidad del arquitecto y su familia. Pero, como reconocer\u00eda el propio Utzon, la arquitectura y el paisaje fueron las verdaderas causas de este abandono:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>La dejamos por la luz. En la actualidad, la Fundaci\u00f3n Utzon es la propietaria de la vivienda y gestiona un programa de estancias y visitas que permiten, en determinados d\u00edas, su apertura al p\u00fablico. La restauraci\u00f3n de la casa realizada en el 2011 busc\u00f3 recuperar la idea original de Utzon en todos los espacios de la vivienda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis, en su modesta construcci\u00f3n, permanece sobre los acantilados de la isla de Mallorca como un canto a una arquitectura exacta y po\u00e9tica bajo el intenso sol del Mediterr\u00e1neo. Can Lis \u00e9 una das catro casas proxectadas para el e a sua familia e que compo\u00f1en una marabillosa serie que expresa o sentido do habitar utzoniano en \u00e9pocas e lugares ben diferentes: desde a s\u00faa primeira casa en Helleb\u00e6k (Dinamarca, 1952) pasando polo seu proyecto de Bayview (Australia, 1964) ata as duas casas Mallorca,\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/canlis.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Can Lis<\/a> (1972) e Can Feliz (1994).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Situada nun espectacular emprazamiento na beira do mar, Can Lis \u00e9 a mais po\u00e9tica e radical de todas elas e a s\u00faa raz\u00f3n de ser hai que buscala necesariamente en terras moi lonxanas. En 1957 aos 38 a\u00f1os de idade, Utzon conv\u00e9rtese nun arquitecto de fama mundial ao ga\u00f1ar o concurso internacional da \u00d3pera de S\u00eddney. Pero a construci\u00f3n da s\u00faa fermosa proposta para a ba\u00eda de S\u00eddney distou moito de ser un cami\u00f1o de rosas. As formas da \u00d3pera naceron da sua sensibilidade, imaxinaci\u00f3n e a sua grande intuici\u00f3n contrutiva; eran un desaf\u00edo \u00e1 convenci\u00f3n e a tecnolox\u00eda do seu momento. Utzon tivo que desenvolver unha xeometr\u00eda e una construci\u00f3n para facer realidade esta arquitectura que estaba concibida como un gran desaf\u00edo arquitect\u00f3nico.<sup><sup>1<\/sup><\/sup> Pero unha campa\u00f1a pol\u00edtica populista, sustentada na cr\u00edtica ao car\u00e1cter experimental desta arquitectura e ao meticuloso proceso de investigaci\u00f3n de Utzon, forza a amarga renuncia do arquitecto dan\u00e9s que abandonar\u00eda Australia na primavera de 1966 para no volver nunca mais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En S\u00eddney, Utzon reforza a idea da arquitectura como una experiencia sensible e humana xurdida do \u00e1mbito da imaxinaci\u00f3n e a fantas\u00eda. Para el a misi\u00f3n do arquitecto debe ser encontrar a liberaci\u00f3n desas forzas creativas interiores; dominar a tecnolox\u00eda para constru\u00edr os seus so\u00f1os. O resultado \u00e9 a \u201carquitectura aditiva\u201d que pretende dar respostas \u00e1s necesidades humanas agrupando os elementos construtivos proporcionados pola industria en patr\u00f3ns de crecemento org\u00e1nico. A idea \u00e9 afastarse da casa como una caixa de tama\u00f1o predeterminado e compartimentada convencionalmente, ao contrario b\u00fascase unha combinaci\u00f3n de elementos ou pezas que respondan \u00e1s necesidades humanas. Baseada neste principio aditivo Utzon proxecta a s\u00faa vivenda en Bayview, preto de S\u00eddney, que finalmente no chegar\u00e1 a ser constru\u00edda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-60809\" src=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-02-&copy;-Jos&eacute;-Antonio-Sumay-Rey.jpg\" alt=\"Can-Lis-02-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey\" width=\"630\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ao seu regreso de Australia, Utzon e a s\u00faa dona Lis, escultora, encontran unha magn\u00edfica parcela sobre os cant\u00eds da costa este de Mallorca. Encaixada entre o borde do mar e o cami\u00f1o posterior Can Lis \u00e9 unha casa que se disgrega en catro volumes articulados por medio de muros e patios. A primeira peza \u00e9 un gran patio porticado aberto ao mar para a vida o aire libre, o segundo volume \u00e9 un espazo para estar ao redor do lume e as vistas que penetran por unhas troneiras acristaladas. Os volumes terceiro e cuarto son os dormitorios que contan cuns pequenos soportais vinculados \u00e1s estancias. Estes catro elementos apenas te\u00f1en como uni\u00f3n o muro posterior que limita co cami\u00f1o e serve de gu\u00eda ao corredor ao aire libre que conecta todas as pezas. En continuidade cos proxectos precedentes, a idea do muro como elemento xerador da casa xa fora estudado por Utzon na s\u00faa primera casa en Helleb\u00e6k (Dinamarca, 1952) mentres que a fragmentaci\u00f3n volum\u00e9trica por usos e a modularidade construtiva desenvolverase no proxecto de Bayview (Australia, 1964).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis proxectase coa paisaxe e a luz como elemento esencial. A presenza do mar \u00e9 tan rotunda que Utzon estima que non \u00e9 necesario engadirlle \u00e1 casa decoraci\u00f3n algunha e, como mobiliario, s\u00f3 dispon duns sinxelos bancos constru\u00eddos con pedra de mar\u00e9s e revestidos con azulexos locais. Ao visitar a casa un \u00e9 consciente da vontade de Utzon de facer unha arquitectura que sexa a xusta expresi\u00f3n das necesidades esenciais do home, tanto materiais como espirituais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis pertence \u00e1 escala humana, a s\u00faa monumentalidade responde mais \u00e1 pureza dos seus espazos que as s\u00faas proporci\u00f3ns e dimensi\u00f3ns. Can Lis \u00e9 a resposta a un sentido de habitar que entende a vida como un conxunto de pequenos actos: andar, estar de pe, sentarse, deitarse, desfrutar do sol e mais da auga. Ao visitala entendese o pouco que se necesita para habitala, apenas uns libros e alg\u00fan obxecto persoal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-60810\" src=\"http:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-03-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey.jpg\" alt=\"Can-Lis-03-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey\" width=\"630\" height=\"840\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-03-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey.jpg 600w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-03-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c9 nesta renuncia ao accesorio onde reside a atemporalidade de Can Lis; a cada paso uno ten a sensaci\u00f3n de pertencer a un espazo dificilmente asimilable a unha \u00e9poca. Esta atemporalidade non se pode definir, segundo Norberg Schulz, como unha abstracta sensaci\u00f3n de non pertencer a ning\u00fan per\u00edodo hist\u00f3rico sen\u00f3n como algo eterno que forma parte do lugar. \u00c9 Can Lis un magn\u00edfico exemplo de arquitectura cl\u00e1sica, entendendo o clasicismo non como unha mera cuesti\u00f3n formal ou de estilo sen\u00f3n como unha vontade de permanencia, de eternidade e que, neste caso, non provene da natural viaxe polas beiras do Mediterr\u00e1neo, entre o oriente de Grecia e a illa de Mallorca, sen\u00f3n que recorre Europa desde o renacemento italiano e as villas de Palladio ata a obra dos seus mestres Erik Gunnar Asplund e Alvar Aalto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis xurde como s\u00edntese entre a paisaxe e o modesto mais esencial sentido de habitar utzoniano, cuxa vontade de sincera simplicidade trasladase ao proceso construtivo. Ao contrario que na \u00d3pera de S\u00eddney,e o seu laborioso proceso de proxecto e execuci\u00f3n de obra, en Mallorca Utzon acorta o tr\u00e1nsito entre a idea e a s\u00faa materializaci\u00f3n, entre o pensamento e a obra. Constr\u00faese co xusto e o necesario desenvolv\u00e9ndose simultaneamente proxecto e obra cun reducido n\u00famero de planos iniciais e modelos a escala real. O arquitecto, coa s\u00faa \u00a0familia, decid\u00eda no lugar a disposici\u00f3n e altura dos muros, a forma dos ocos ou o sitio axeitado para sentarse; todo isto materializ\u00e1base grazas \u00e1 estreita colaboraci\u00f3n cun construtor local a quen Utzon explicaba nun bar, con terr\u00f3ns de azucre, a forma do proxecto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como vira nas s\u00faas viaxes por M\u00e9xico o Marrocos, Utzon recupera en Can Lis unha tradici\u00f3n construtiva en harmon\u00eda co lugar e os seus materiais. Os muros e columnas da casa son dunha f\u00e1brica bastamente rexuntada de pedra do mar\u00e9s; con esta arenisca constru\u00edse na illa de Mallorca desde a catedral de Palma ata os caracter\u00edsticos <em>marges<\/em>, muros de cachoter\u00eda seca que se utilizan en toda a illa tanto para delimitar propiedades como muros de contenci\u00f3n e socalcos. Os pavimentos e muros interiores son de pedra de Santany\u00ed, tam\u00e9n unha arenisca local pero mais dura e escura. A pedra colocase sen tratamentos superficiais, segundo sae do proceso de corte: p\u00f3dense apreciar con claridade en toda a casa as marcas do aserrado nos perpia\u00f1os. As placas real\u00edzanse con viguetas prefabricadas sobre as que apoian unhas bovedillas cer\u00e1micas. As cubertas son planas e a tella \u00e1rabe utilizase como remate dos muros, detalle que Utzon incorporara da arquitectura tradicional chinesa.<sup>2<\/sup> As carpinter\u00edas exteriores son de pi\u00f1eiro norte mallorquino. En resumo, a procedencia dos materiais p\u00f3dese atopar nun radio duns poucos quil\u00f3metros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-60811\" src=\"http:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-04-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey.jpg\" alt=\"Can-Lis-04-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey\" width=\"630\" height=\"1120\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-04-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey.jpg 450w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-04-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey-169x300.jpg 169w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Grazs a Can Lis e a sua construci\u00f3n tradicional Utzon regresa da odisea de S\u00eddney determinada polas pol\u00e9micas e as complexidades t\u00e9cnicas y econ\u00f3micas a esta \u00cdtaca mallorquina que cos anos converter\u00edase no seu fogar. Desde 1973 Can Lis foi a casa de vacaci\u00f3ns de J\u00f8rn Utzon e a s\u00faa familia y al\u00ed seguiron vivindo cando aumentaron os per\u00edodos de estancia na illa. Pero en 1983, ao convert\u00e9rense en residentes permanentes en Mallorca, reconsideran a s\u00faa idea inicial de constru\u00edr unha casa no interior da illa; ser\u00e1 a s\u00faa cuarta casa, Can Feliz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Feliz localizase en una parcela que os Utzon adquiriran en Felanitx ao seu regreso de Australia. As primeiras propostas son de 1972, pero problemas legais impiden finalmente a s\u00faa execuci\u00f3n e \u00e9 ent\u00f3n cando se deciden a constru\u00edr Can Lis. Finalizada en 1994, esta \u00e9 unha vivenda mais grande con maiores servizos e comodidades pero tam\u00e9n cunha luminosidade e unhas vistas m\u00e1s matizadas. A pesar de ser 20 anos mais moderna, Utzon utiliza os mesmos sistemas construtivos que en Can Lis coa excepci\u00f3n da cuberta na que opta por una soluci\u00f3n mais tradicional de planos inclinados con tella \u00e1rabe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das raz\u00f3ns para o abandono de Can Lis quiz\u00e1s a mais difundida \u00e9 que debido a s\u00faa f\u00e1cil acceso se v\u00eda invadida con frecuencia por amantes da arquitectura impedindo deste xeito a debida privacidade do arquitecto e a s\u00faa familia. Pero, como reco\u00f1ecer\u00eda o propio Utzon, a arquitectura e a paisaxe foron as verdadeiras causas deste abandono:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>Deixamola polla luz. A intensidade luminosa polo mar era demasiado forte<\/em>\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><\/a>.<sup>3<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-60812 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Can-Lis-05-&copy;-Jos&eacute;-Antonio-Sumay-Rey.jpg\" alt=\"Can-Lis-05-\u00a9-Jos\u00e9-Antonio-Sumay-Rey\" width=\"630\" height=\"840\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A presenza do mar e a luz \u00e9 tan rotunda en Can Lis que un entende esta necesidade de buscar, con Can Feliz, a suavidade das paisaxes interiores da illa e unha menor exposici\u00f3n ao sol do Mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ao constru\u00edrse a nova casa, Can Lis queda como residencia de verano para os seus fillos e netos.\u00a0 Na actualidade, a Fundaci\u00f3n Utzon \u00e9 a propietaria da vivenda e xestiona un programa de estancias e visitas que permiten, en determinados d\u00edas, a s\u00faa apertura ao p\u00fablico. A restauraci\u00f3n da casa realizada no 2011 buscou recuperar, con \u00e9xito ao meu parecer, a idea orixinal de Utzon en todos os espazos da vivenda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis, na s\u00faa modesta construci\u00f3n, permanece sobre os cant\u00eds da illa de Mallorca como un canto a unha arquitectura exacta e po\u00e9tica baixo o intenso sol do Mediterr\u00e1neo. He is A Khan Lis a magnificent example of classic architecture, understanding the classicism not as a mere formal question or of style but as a will of permanency, of eternity and that, in this case, does not come from the natural trip for the shores of the Mediterranean, between the east of Greece and the island of Majorca, but it crosses Europe from the Italian renaissance and Palladio&#8217;s villas up to the work of his teachers Erik Gunnar Asplund and Alvar Aalto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can Lis arises as synthesis between the landscape and the modest but essential sense of to live utzoniano, whose will of sincere simplicity moves to the constructive process. Unlike in S\u00eddney&#8217;s Opera and his laborious process of project and execution of work, in Majorca Utzon it shortens the traffic between the idea and his materialization, between the thought and the work.
