La coherencia en el lenguaje arquitect\u00f3nico, todos estamos de acuerdo, es una de las se\u00f1as de identidad que nos permiten reconocer ese concepto tan difuso que conocemos como \u201cbuena arquitectura\u201d. Aunque, hablando de t\u00e9rminos difusos,<\/p>\n

\n

\u00bfqu\u00e9 es eso de la \u201ccoherencia en el lenguaje\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mi lenguaje es coherente \u2013aunque mis ideas no siempre lo sean- porque b\u00e1sicamente, siempre hablo y escribo en un castellano m\u00e1s o menos correcto, porque uso a menudo las mismas palabras, porque intento que la construcci\u00f3n de estas sea inteligible\u2026 los neologismos absurdos, las palabras robadas de otros idiomas, las muletillas y las faltas de ortograf\u00eda, le restan coherencia a mi lenguaje.<\/p>\n

Bien. Pasemos al \u201clenguaje arquitect\u00f3nico\u201d. Sustituyamos las palabras por formas, huecos, fachadas y cubiertas, las frases por la composici\u00f3n de estas, y la correcci\u00f3n ling\u00fc\u00edstica por la construcci\u00f3n precisa, funcional y, a ser posible, econ\u00f3mica \u2013la econom\u00eda de lenguaje entre los arquitectos, tanto el hablado como el formal, podr\u00eda dar para un interesante debate- si intentamos establecer un paralelismo un tanto simplificador, el uso correcto e inteligible de estos elementos otorgar\u00eda coherencia a mi forma de hacer arquitectura. Digamos pues, que los pastiches, las referencias anacr\u00f3nicas, y sobre todo las faltas de ortograf\u00eda arquitect\u00f3nica \u2013la escayola es el \u201ctipex\u201d de nuestros edificios- son los grandes protagonistas de nuestras incoherencias del d\u00eda a d\u00eda.<\/p>\n

El caso es que, si Mies se pas\u00f3 toda su vida repitiendo el mismo detalle de esquina \u2013cosa que no es verdad, pero ya digo que estamos en plan simplificador- por qu\u00e9 no voy yo a hacer lo mismo, que adem\u00e1s, para eso tengo un Pritzker<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Y s\u00ed. Es probable que el emir de Catar haya estado en Barcelona<\/a> \u2013o incluso que tenga conexi\u00f3n a internet y sepa usar la wikipedia- pero si le da por preguntar por qu\u00e9 la torre nueva se parece tanto, pero tanto tanto tanto, a la Agbar, le podemos decir que para nada, que la de Barcelona est\u00e1 inspirada en las monta\u00f1as de Montserrat y esta bebe de las fuentes de los alminares musulmanes, que adem\u00e1s, para eso le hemos puesto una fachada de celos\u00edas que r\u00edete t\u00fa de la Alhambra.<\/p>\n

Aunque claro, siempre podemos apelar a que estamos experimentando con los procesos semi\u00f3ticos de intertextualizaci\u00f3n, que para eso somos arquitectos y cualquier cosa vale para explicar un proyecto.<\/p>\n

En cualquier caso, piensen ustedes si este es el camino a seguir, aunque solo sea porque el monogr\u00e1fico de El Croquis va a quedar de lo m\u00e1s mon\u00f3tono\u2026<\/p>\n
