Kahn (1901-1974) y \u00d3scar Niemeyer (1907-2012), quienes, siendo contempor\u00e1neos, siguieron rumbos antag\u00f3nicos. Lo que s\u00ed he dicho es que ambos, junto a otros, y cada uno con su especificidad, son ejemplos del esfuerzo por ampliar y reinterpretar la tradici\u00f3n moderna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y su legado es dis\u00edmil, un aspecto que no admite comparaci\u00f3n. La contribuci\u00f3n de Kahn al pensamiento sobre arquitectura es \u00fanica. Sus aportes respecto a la organizaci\u00f3n del edificio y los fundamentos del dise\u00f1o, que son <em>t\u00e9cnicos<\/em> (como lo de los espacios <em>servidos y sirvientes<\/em>, las <em>juntas<\/em>, el valor de la luz natural, la primac\u00eda de la estructura como origen de la forma) porque pueden ser utilizados como conocimiento compartido; sus elaboraciones de corte filos\u00f3fico sobre su universo est\u00e9tico; su obra construida y propuesta; su labor docente, forman un <em>corpus<\/em> que llev\u00f3 a nuestra conciencia aspectos que dorm\u00edan en la tradici\u00f3n. Mientras que Niemeyer es un arquitecto que mira hacia s\u00ed mismo, para quien la obra es una experiencia estrictamente personal, sin que sea importante darle a \u00e9sta fundamentos susceptibles de ser asumidos por otros. En cierto sentido, si nos atenemos a la frase de Le Corbusier \u201c<em>nada es trasmisible sino el pensamiento<\/em>\u201c, de ra\u00edz Kantiana, lo que podemos aprehender para apropi\u00e1rnoslo de un arquitecto como Niemeyer no es lo que dijo sino lo que su obra <em>muestra<\/em>. Y lo mostrado depende del observador, del que reflexiona sobre lo que ve; y en esa misma medida puede ser llamado subjetivo, \u00edntimo, personal. No conocimiento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kahn trat\u00f3 siempre de trasmitir las razones que lo orientaban. Lo hizo revisti\u00e9ndolas de un aura po\u00e9tico-filos\u00f3fica muy coherente con su personalidad que manej\u00f3 con enorme acierto. Su discurso era extraordinariamente atractivo y de hecho se convirti\u00f3, en esos tiempos de fuertes auto-cuestionamientos de la sociedad norteamericana (surgimiento del esp\u00edritu hippie), en una figura que en cierto modo se opon\u00eda tambi\u00e9n al status del mundo arquitect\u00f3nico del momento. Surgi\u00f3 como pionero de una aproximaci\u00f3n a la arquitectura menos dogm\u00e1tica, m\u00e1s tolerante, m\u00e1s abierta a motivos e impulsos que \u00e9l inclu\u00eda en la palabra <em>inspiraci\u00f3n<\/em> y que se hab\u00edan mantenido sepultados por el pudor racionalista. Eso captur\u00f3 la imaginaci\u00f3n y tambi\u00e9n un tipo de adhesi\u00f3n que tuvo rasgos militantes por parte de muchos que lo ve\u00edan como int\u00e9rprete del desencanto con las rigideces de la modernidad. Desencanto que desde los a\u00f1os setenta del siglo veinte en adelante tom\u00f3 cauces muy diversos que en algunos casos condujeron a una especie de restauraci\u00f3n de las banderas de la Academia decimon\u00f3nica. Se hizo fuerte el revisionismo post-modernista y proliferaron de un modo extraordinario textos cr\u00edticos que sentaron las bases para una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s madura del tema urbano (por ejemplo los de Aldo Rossi) y una apertura hacia la diversidad que ven\u00eda a ser como viento fresco que desmontaba prejuicios que, m\u00e1s que modernos, lo he escrito en otra parte, se deb\u00edan a la expansi\u00f3n de una visi\u00f3n <em>pr\u00e1ctica<\/em>, que si bien era parte del conjunto de ideas que definieron la nueva aproximaci\u00f3n a la arquitectura, se basaba en principios que fueron simplificados interesadamente en provecho de los aspectos cuantitativos de la producci\u00f3n del edificio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como compensaci\u00f3n de ese proceso de simplificaci\u00f3n fue haci\u00e9ndose intenso el deseo de ampliar las referencias que reg\u00edan el trabajo de los arquitectos, de expandir su visi\u00f3n y hacerla m\u00e1s abierta a la complejidad. La obra de Kahn madura en ese escenario, donde ya hab\u00edan hecho su aparici\u00f3n modos de ver que se\u00f1alaban un desarrollo m\u00e1s diverso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kahn va planteando en su obra de un modo original una nueva forma de asumir la ordenaci\u00f3n geom\u00e9trica del edificio. Las plantas de las Torres M\u00e9dicas, de los Ba\u00f1os de Trenton o de la Iglesia Unitaria de Rochester, muy asociadas a su concepci\u00f3n de los espacios de <em>servicio y sirvientes<\/em>, tuvieron un impacto decisivo porque fueron el origen de una s\u00edntesis formal nacida del orden del edificio y no del capricho expresivo. De all\u00ed en adelante fueron afirm\u00e1ndose en \u00e9l preocupaciones nacidas del deseo de controlar la luz solar (en el Anteproyecto de la Embajada de EUA en Angola) planteando abiertamente el tema del control del <em>deslumbramiento<\/em> (<em>glare<\/em> en ingl\u00e9s), asunto no resuelto por los quiebrasoles de Le Corbusier, adem\u00e1s del impacto en el calentamiento de la superficie de techo, un aspecto del mismo proyecto que fue muy publicitado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se fueron sumando adem\u00e1s sus aportes en el uso de los materiales, el valor esencial de la luz natural, que ya mencion\u00e9, el rechazo al uso de plafones para <em>enmascarar<\/em> (uno de los mayores absurdos que hoy plagan la arquitectura del espect\u00e1culo) todos principios con consecuencias directas en el edificio que pueden llamarse <em>\u00e9ticos<\/em> porque act\u00faan como contenci\u00f3n, como delimitaci\u00f3n respecto a lo que puede hacerse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y tambi\u00e9n fueron apareciendo en su obra elementos puramente expresivos, por ejemplo una cierta obsesi\u00f3n con el c\u00edrculo, el arco, el dintel tradicional; el muro ciego, masivo; la experimentaci\u00f3n con formas geom\u00e9tricas que se intersectan como en las plantas de recintos amurallados. Inter\u00e9s especial en las viejas ruinas buscando claves formales que comparo con las que fascinaron al pintor franc\u00e9s Hubert Robert (1733-1808) llamado por sus contempor\u00e1neos \u201c<em>Robert des ruines<\/em>\u201c. Inter\u00e9s que motiv\u00f3 b\u00fasquedas sobre las tradiciones constructivas trasladadas, reinterpret\u00e1ndolas, a su arquitectura tard\u00eda, particularmente en sus experiencias de India y fotograf\u00edas que semuestran en primer lugar parte de la fachada del Instituto de Gerencia de Ahmedabad, India (1962-74), de Luis Kahn, e inmediatamente un cuadro de Hubert Robert que resulta \u00fatil para ilustrar lo que digo sobre la fascinaci\u00f3n de Kahn con las ruinas. A continuaci\u00f3n, incluyo un dibujo de Kahn que ya publiqu\u00e9 anteriormente (11 de Septiembre 2008) que puede compararse con la foto siguiente, de Internet, que muestra el conjunto de la Catedral de Albi y el Palacio de la Berbie (hoy Museo Toulouse Lautrec) desde el mismo punto desde el cual Kahn hizo su dibujo en 1959. Albi no es una ruina pero s\u00ed, hasta cierto punto una fortificaci\u00f3n (ese fue uno de los or\u00edgenes de la configuraci\u00f3n del conjunto), y como fortificaci\u00f3n tiene una presencia que remite a arquitecturas primordiales. Los dibujos de Albi (se conservan varios que han sido publicados) nos conectan con el inter\u00e9s de Kahn por las formas masivas de la construcci\u00f3n de mamposter\u00eda de ladrillo, inter\u00e9s que se abre hacia asuntos centrales de la psique humana que trat\u00f3 de entender buscando incorporarlos a su arquitectura.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>En Albi la ley del material, ladrillo, se manifiesta de modo rotundo definiendo una est\u00e9tica que aparte de ser \u00fanica en la arquitectura medieval de catedrales se emparenta con esas arquitecturas anteriores que eran parte importante del mundo de referencias que Kahn evocaba.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Vale la pena hacer notar que el dibujo es de 1959, cuando Kahn ya era un hombre maduro, de 58 a\u00f1os. Se puede decir pues que esos apuntes muestran un inter\u00e9s que ven\u00eda gest\u00e1ndose sin expresarse directamente en las arquitecturas que construy\u00f3. Sin embargo, en los esquemas preparatorios de esas arquitecturas, as\u00ed como en los proyectos de mediados de los sesenta en adelante, pueden observarse huellas de la b\u00fasqueda hacia atr\u00e1s en el tiempo que aliment\u00f3 su lenguaje.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Siguen fotos del proyecto (dibujos y maqueta) de la Sinagoga Mikveh Israel de 1962, que nos llevan a la \u201cfigura\u201d de la Bastilla de Robert, y al fragmento de fachada del Instituto de Gerencia. La pen\u00faltima (14) en la serie de im\u00e1genes es la de los primeros esquemas de ese Instituto, que datan de 1968-69, y son reveladores del proceso de maduraci\u00f3n que habr\u00eda de expresarse como lenguaje barroco, exuberante, en la Asamblea de Dacca, de la cual van (\u00faltima foto) unos esquemas. Kahn (1901-1974) e \u00d3scar Niemeyer (1907-2012), quen, sendo contempor\u00e1neos, seguiron rumbos antag\u00f3nicos. O que si dixen \u00e9 que ambos, xunto a outros, e cada un coa s\u00faa especificidade, son exemplos do esforzo por ampliar e reinterpretar a tradici\u00f3n moderna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E o seu legado \u00e9 dis\u00edmil, un aspecto que non admite comparaci\u00f3n. A contribuci\u00f3n de Kahn ao pensamento sobre arquitectura \u00e9 \u00fanica. As s\u00faas achegas respecto da organizaci\u00f3n do edificio e os fundamentos do dese\u00f1o, que son t\u00e9cnicos (como o dos espazos <em>servidos e serventes,<\/em> as <em>xuntas<\/em>, o valor da luz natural, a primac\u00eda da estrutura como orixe da forma) porque poden ser utilizados como co\u00f1ecemento compartido; as s\u00faas elaboraci\u00f3ns de corte filos\u00f3fico sobre o seu universo est\u00e9tico; a s\u00faa obra constru\u00edda e proposta; o seu labor docente, forman un <em>corpus<\/em> que levou a nosa conciencia aspectos que durm\u00edan na tradici\u00f3n. Mentres que Niemeyer \u00e9 un arquitecto que mira cara a si mesmo, para quen a obra \u00e9 unha experiencia estritamente persoal, sen que sexa importante darlle a esta fundamentos susceptibles de ser asumidos por outros. En certo sentido, se nos atemos \u00e1 frase de Le Corbusier \u201c<em>nada \u00e9 trasmisible sen\u00f3n o pensamento<\/em>\u201c, de ra\u00edz Kantiana, o que podemos aprehender para apropi\u00e1rnolo dun arquitecto como Niemeyer non \u00e9 o que dixo sen\u00f3n o que a s\u00faa obra <em>mostra<\/em>. E o mostrado depende do observador, do que reflexiona sobre o que ve; e nesa mesma medida pode ser chamado subxectivo, \u00edntimo, persoal. Non co\u00f1ecemento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kahn tratou sempre de transmitir as raz\u00f3ns que o orientaban. F\u00edxoo revest\u00edndoas dun aura po\u00e9tico-filos\u00f3fica moi coherente coa s\u00faa personalidade que manexou con enorme acerto. O seu discurso era extraordinariamente atractivo e de feito converteuse, neses tempos de fortes auto-cuestionamientos da sociedade norteamericana (xurdimento do esp\u00edrito hippie), nunha figura que en certo xeito se opo\u00f1\u00eda tam\u00e9n ao status do mundo arquitect\u00f3nico do momento. Xurdiu como pioneiro dunha aproximaci\u00f3n \u00e1 arquitectura menos dogm\u00e1tica, m\u00e1is tolerante, m\u00e1is aberta a motivos e impulsos que el inclu\u00eda na palabra<em> inspiraci\u00f3n <\/em>e que se mantiveron sepultados polo pudor racionalista. Iso capturou a imaxinaci\u00f3n e tam\u00e9n un tipo de adhesi\u00f3n que tivo trazos militantes por parte de moitos que o v\u00edan como int\u00e9rprete do desencanto coas rixideces da modernidade. Desencanto que desde os anos setenta do s\u00e9culo vinte en diante tomou canles moi diversas que nalg\u00fans casos conduciron a unha especie de restauraci\u00f3n das bandeiras da Academia decimon\u00f3nica. F\u00edxose forte o revisionismo post-modernista e proliferaron dun modo extraordinario textos cr\u00edticos que sentaron as bases para unha visi\u00f3n m\u00e1is madura do tema urbano (por exemplo os de Aldo Rossi) e unha apertura cara \u00e1 diversidade que vi\u00f1a ser como vento fresco que desmontaba prexu\u00edzos que, m\u00e1is que modernos, escribino noutra parte, deb\u00edanse \u00e1 expansi\u00f3n dunha visi\u00f3n <em>pr\u00e1ctica<\/em>, que a\u00ednda que era parte do conxunto de ideas que definiron a nova aproximaci\u00f3n \u00e1 arquitectura, base\u00e1base en principios que foron simplificados interesadamente en proveito dos aspectos cuantitativos da produci\u00f3n do edificio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como compensaci\u00f3n dese proceso de simplificaci\u00f3n foi fac\u00e9ndose intenso o desexo de ampliar as referencias que rex\u00edan o traballo dos arquitectos, de expandir a s\u00faa visi\u00f3n e facela m\u00e1is aberta \u00e1 complexidade. A obra de Kahn madura nese escenario, onde xa fixeran a s\u00faa aparici\u00f3n modos de ver que sinalaban un desenvolvemento m\u00e1is diverso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kahn vai expondo na s\u00faa obra dun modo orixinal unha nova forma de asumir a ordenaci\u00f3n xeom\u00e9trica do edificio. As plantas das Torres M\u00e9dicas, dos Ba\u00f1os de Trenton ou da Igrexa Unitaria de Rochester, moi asociadas \u00e1 s\u00faa concepci\u00f3n dos espazos de <em>servizo e serventes<\/em>, tiveron un impacto decisivo porque foron a orixe dunha s\u00edntese formal nada da orde do edificio e non do capricho expresivo. De al\u00ed en diante foron afirm\u00e1ndose nel preocupaci\u00f3ns nadas do desexo de controlar a luz solar (no Anteproxecto da Embaixada de EUA en Angola) expondo abertamente o tema do control do <em>deslumbramiento<\/em> (<em>glare<\/em> en ingl\u00e9s), asunto non resolto polos quiebrasoles de Lle Corbusier, ademais do impacto no quecemento da superficie de teito, un aspecto do mesmo proxecto que foi moi publicitado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">F\u00f3ronse sumando ademais as s\u00faas achegas no uso dos materiais, o valor esencial da luz natural, que xa mencionei, o rexeitamento ao uso de plafones para <em>enmascarar<\/em> (un dos maiores absurdos que hoxe infestan a arquitectura do espect\u00e1culo) todos principios con consecuencias directas no edificio que poden chamarse <em>\u00e9ticos<\/em> porque act\u00faan como contenci\u00f3n, como delimitaci\u00f3n respecto do que pode facerse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E tam\u00e9n foron aparecendo na s\u00faa obra elementos puramente expresivos, por exemplo una certa obsesi\u00f3n co c\u00edrculo, o arco, o dintel tradicional; o muro cego, masivo; a experimentaci\u00f3n con formas xeom\u00e9tricas que se intersectan como nas plantas de recintos amurallados. Interese especial nas vellas ru\u00ednas buscando claves formais que comparo coas que fascinaron ao pintor franc\u00e9s Hubert Robert (1733-1808) chamado polos seus contempor\u00e1neos \u201c<em>Robert des ruines<\/em>\u201c. Interese que motivou procuras sobre as tradici\u00f3ns construtivas trasladadas, reinterpret\u00e1ndolas, \u00e1 s\u00faa arquitectura tard\u00eda, particularmente nas s\u00faas experiencias de India fotograf\u00edas que semuestran en primeiro lugar parte da fachada do Instituto de Xerencia de Ahmedabad, India (1962-74), de Lu\u00eds Kahn, e inmediatamente un cadro de Hubert Robert que resulta \u00fatil para ilustrar o que digo sobre a fascinaci\u00f3n de Kahn coas ru\u00ednas. A continuaci\u00f3n, incl\u00fao un debuxo de Kahn que xa publiquei anteriormente (11 de Setembro 2008) que pode compararse coa foto seguinte, da internet, que mostra o conxunto da Catedral de Albi e o Palacio da Berbie (hoxe Museo Toulouse Lautrec) desde o mesmo punto desde o cal Kahn fixo o seu debuxo en 1959. Albi non \u00e9 unha ru\u00edna pero si, ata certo punto unha fortificaci\u00f3n (ese foi un das orixes da configuraci\u00f3n do conxunto), e como fortificaci\u00f3n ten unha presenza que remite a arquitecturas primordiais. Os debuxos de Albi (cons\u00e9rvanse varios que foron publicados) con\u00e9ctannos co interese de Kahn polas formas masivas da construci\u00f3n de mamposter\u00eda de ladrillo, interese que se abre cara a asuntos centrais da psique humana que tratou de entender buscando incorporalos \u00e1 s\u00faa arquitectura.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>En Albi a lei do material, ladrillo, manif\u00e9stase de modo rotundo definindo unha est\u00e9tica que \u00e1 parte de ser \u00fanica na arquitectura medieval de catedrais se emparenta con esas arquitecturas anteriores que eran parte importante do mundo de referencias que Kahn evocaba.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Vale a pena facer notar que o debuxo \u00e9 de 1959, cando Kahn xa era un home maduro, de 58 anos. P\u00f3dese dicir pois que eses apuntamentos mostran un interese que vi\u00f1a xest\u00e1ndose sen expresarse directamente nas arquitecturas que constru\u00edu. Con todo, nos esquemas preparatorios desas arquitecturas, as\u00ed como nos proxectos de mediados dos sesenta en diante, poden observarse pegadas da procura cara atr\u00e1s no tempo que alimentou a s\u00faa linguaxe.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Seguen fotos do proxecto (debuxos e maqueta) da Sinagoga Mikveh Israel de 1962, que nos levan \u00e1 \u00abfigura\u00bb da Bastilla de Robert, e ao fragmento de fachada do Instituto de Xerencia. A pen\u00faltima (14) na serie de imaxes \u00e9 a dos primeiros esquemas dese Instituto, que datan de 1968-69, e son reveladores do proceso de maduraci\u00f3n que haber\u00eda de expresarse como linguaxe barroca, exuberante, na Asemblea de Dacca, da cal van (\u00faltima foto) uns esquemas. His contributions with regard to the organization of the building and the foundations of the design, which are technical (as it of the <em>served spaces and servants<\/em>, the <em>meetings<\/em>, the value of the natural light, the primacy of the structure like origin of the form) because they can be used as shared knowledge; his elaborations of philosophical cut on his aesthetic universe; his constructed and proposed work; his educational labor, they form a corpus that took to our conscience aspects that were sleeping in the tradition.\u00a0Whereas Niemeyer is an architect who looks towards yes same, for whom the work is a strictly personal experience, without it is important to give this one foundations capable of being assumed by others. In a sense, if we abide by the phrase of Him Ours Corbusier \u201c<em>nothing is transmissible but the thought<\/em>\u201c, of Kantian root, which we can apprehend to appropriate it of an architect as Niemeyer is not what he said but what his work <em>shows<\/em>. And the showed depends on the observer, on the one that thinks what it sees; and in the same measure it can be called subjectively, intimately, personally. Not knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kahn treated always of trasmitir the reasons that were orientating it. It did it revisti\u00e9ndolas of a poetical &#8211; philosophical very coherent aura with his personality that he handled with enormous success. His speech was extraordinarily attractive and of fact it turned, in these times of strong auto-questions of the North American company (emergence of the spirit hippie), into a figure that in certain way was opposed also to the status of the architectural world of the moment. It arose as pioneer of an approximation to the least dogmatic, more tolerant architecture more opened for motives and impulses that he was including in the word <em>inspiration<\/em> and that they had been kept buried by the racionalist modesty. It captured the imagination and also a type of adhesion that had politicallly active features on the part of many that saw it as interpreter of the disenchantment with the inflexibilities of the modernity. Disenchantment that from the seventies of the century twenty in forward took very diverse riverbeds that in some cases they led to a species of restoration of the flags of the nineteenth-century Academy.\u00a0The post-modernist revisionism became strong and there proliferated in an extraordinary way critical texts that they laid the foundations for a more mature vision of the urban topic (for example those of Aldo Rossi) and an opening towards the diversity that was coming to be like a fresh wind that was dismantling prejudices that, more that modern, I have written it in another part, owed to the expansion of a <em>practical<\/em> vision, that though it was a part of the set of ideas that defined the new approximation to the architecture, it was based in beginning that were simplified interesadamente to the benefit of the quantitative aspects of the production of the building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since compensation of this process of simplification was making to him intense the desire to extend the references that were governing the work of the architects, to expand his vision and to make her more opened the complexity. Kahn&#8217;s work matures in this scene, where already they had done his appearance manners of seeing that they were indicating a more diverse development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kahn is raising in his work of an original way a new way of assuming the geometric arrangement of the building. The plants of the Medical Towers, of the Baths of Trenton or of Rochester&#8217;s Unitary Church, very associated with his conception of the spaces of <em>service and servants<\/em>, had a decisive impact because they were the origin of a formal born synthesis of the order of the building and not of the expressive caprice. Special interest in the old ruins looking for formal keys that I compare those who fascinated the French painter Hubert Robert (1733-1808) called by his contemporary ones \u201c<em>Robert des ruines<\/em>\u201c. #808080;\"><em>Entre lo Cierto y lo Verdadero<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Photographies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The photographies that semuestran first it departs from the front of the Institute of Ahmedabad&#8217;s Management, India (1962-74), from Luis Kahn, and immediately Hubert Robert&#8217;s picture that turns out to be useful to illustrate what I say on Kahn&#8217;s fascination with the ruins. Later, I include Kahn&#8217;s drawing that already I published previously (September 11, 2008) that can be compared with the following photo, of Internet, which shows the set of Albi&#8217;s Cathedral and the Palace of the Berbie (today Museum Toulouse Lautrec) from the same point from which Kahn did his drawing in 1959. Albi is not a ruin but yes, to a certain extent a fortification (this it was one of the origins of the configuration of the set), and as fortification it has a presence that he sends to basic architectures.\u00a0Albi&#8217;s drawings (there remain several that have been published) connect us with Kahn&#8217;s interest for the massive forms of the construction of masonry of brick, interest that is opened towards central matters of the human psyche that it tried to understand seeking to incorporate them into his architecture.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>In Albi the law of the material, brick, it demonstrates in a round way defining an aesthetics that apart from being only in the medieval architecture of cathedrals emparenta with these previous architectures that were an important part of the world of references that Kahn was evoking.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>It is worth a sorrow making notice that the drawing is of 1959, when Kahn already was a 58-year-old mature man. It is possible to say so that these notes show an interest that was coming being in preparation without expressing directly in the architectures that he constructed. Nevertheless, in the preparatory schemes of these architectures, as well as in the projects of middle of the sixties in forward, fingerprints of the search can observe backward in the time that it fed his language.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Follows photos of the project (drawings and model) of the Synagogue Mikveh Israel of 1962, which take us to the \u00abfigure\u00bb of Robert&#8217;s Hem, and to the fragment of front of the Institute of Management. The penultimate one (14) in the series of images is that of the first schemes of this Institute, which date back to 1968-69, and they are developers of the process of ripeness that should express as baroque, exuberant language, in the Assembly of Dacca, of which they go (last photo) a few schemes. Tenreiro practica as\u00ed lo que el llama el \u201cpensamiento desde y hacia la arquitectura\u201d, insistiendo en que lo hace como arquitecto en ejercicio, para escapar de los estereotipos y cautelas propios de la \u201ccr\u00edtica arquitect\u00f3nica\u201d.
