Cuando Johanes Jacobus Pieter Oud<\/a> es nombrado arquitecto de la ciudad de Rotterdam en 1918, uno de sus primeros objetivos fue planificar una importante cantidad de intervenciones urbanas, promoviendo la construcci\u00f3n de numerosos barrios con el objetivo de paliar el d\u00e9ficit de viviendas. La primera intervenci\u00f3n del plan urban\u00edstico que hace p\u00fablico es el dise\u00f1o de viviendas en el barrio Sprangen<\/a>, que lleva a cabo meses despu\u00e9s. Posteriormente, en 1920, comienza el desarrollo de un proyecto de intervenci\u00f3n urbana para el barrio Oud-Mathenesse<\/a>, que inclu\u00eda un barrio de viviendas provisionales de s\u00f3lo 25 a\u00f1os de duraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El conjunto formaba parte del plan de crecimiento previsto para Rotterdam y para tal fin se concedi\u00f3 una parcela triangular en una zona poco atractiva al oeste de la ciudad. Estaba compuesto por 343 viviendas, 8 comercios y un edificio administrativo y su materializaci\u00f3n concedi\u00f3 a Oud un mayor reconocimiento p\u00fablico. El barrio fue inaugurado en 1923 y demolido en 1989, superando la previsi\u00f3n de vida \u00fatil por 41 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Como parte del programa de obras, Oud dise\u00f1a la oficina para el director del emprendimiento, una peque\u00f1a construcci\u00f3n temporal, que exhibe plenamente el esp\u00edritu impulsor del grupo De Stijl<\/a>. <\/strong>Oud puso especial \u00e9nfasis en el dise\u00f1o de la oficina, sabiendo que era la oportunidad propicia para experimentar los principios neopl\u00e1sticos. A pesar de haberse distanciado de Van Doesburg<\/a> y de abandonar el grupo en 1921, este trabajo y el posterior Caf\u00e9 De Unie<\/a> de 1925, est\u00e1n imbuidos del esp\u00edritu del grupo. Oud experiment\u00f3 un ejercicio tridimensional donde aplica la paleta de colores que Bart Van der Leck<\/a> impropuso en el grupo y Piet Mondrian adopt\u00f3 como representativa del neoplasticismo.<\/p>\n

La construcci\u00f3n de la oficina se realiz\u00f3 \u00edntegramente en madera. Est\u00e1 compuesta por tres vol\u00famenes: uno cubo de color rojo y otro similar de color azul, interceptados por un volumen m\u00e1s estilizado de color amarillo. El volumen amarillo contiene la puerta de acceso, y sobre ella Oud grabo en sentido vertical la palabra director, con la tipograf\u00eda utilizada en la portada de la revista De Stijl. En el interior, la madera se muestra en forma natural, barnizada. El cubo azul contiene una habitaci\u00f3n, cocina y ba\u00f1o y el cubo rojo es un gran espacio sin divisiones. Inauguradas las obras en 1923, la oficina del Director quedo desocupada. Tiempo despu\u00e9s fue ocupada y finalmente abandonada al iniciarse la segunda guerra mundial, para terminar incendiada por una acci\u00f3n vand\u00e1lica en 1944.<\/p>\n

El inter\u00e9s por preservar la herencia del grupo De Stijl moviliz\u00f3 a organismos de gobierno y organizaciones privadas a recuperar la mayor cantidad de obras posibles. En 1974 la casa Schr\u00f6der<\/strong> fue restaurada y pas\u00f3 formar parte del\u00a0Centraal Museum Utrech. En 1986 se reconstruy\u00f3 el edificio del Caf\u00e9 De Unie<\/strong> bajo la direcci\u00f3n del arquitecto Carel Weeber<\/a>. Finalmente en 1992 se reconstruyo la casa del director seg\u00fan los planos originales, bajo la direcci\u00f3n de arquitecto Wytze Patijn<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cEl esp\u00edritu vivificante de una \u00e9poca y no las formas tradicionales forman la direcci\u00f3n de su arte. Es as\u00ed como la tendencia del desarrollo arquitectural se ofrece otra vez, pero que en apariencia lo supera en mucho. When Johanes Jacobus Pieter Oud<\/a> is nominated an architect of the city of Rotterdam in first 1918, one of his aims it was to plan an important quantity of urban interventions, promoting the construction of numerous neighborhoods with the aim to relieve the deficit of housings. The first intervention of the urban development plan that public does is the design of housings in the Sprangen <\/a>neighborhood, which it carries out some months later. Later, in 1920, it begins the development of a project of urban intervention for the Oud-Mathenesse<\/a> neighborhood, which was including a neighborhood of provisional housings of only 25 years of duration.<\/p>\n

The set was forming a part of the plan of growth foreseen for Rotterdam and for such an end a triangular plot was granted in a slightly attractive zone to the west of the city. It was composed by 343 housings, 8 trades and an administrative building and his materialization granted a major public recognition to Oud. The neighborhood was inaugurated in 1923 and demolished in 1989, overcoming the forecast of useful life for 41 years<\/p>\n

As part of the program of works, Oud designs the office for the director of the emprendimiento, a small temporary construction, which exhibits fullly the driving spirit of the group De Stijl<\/a>.<\/strong> Oud put special emphasis in the design of the office, knowing that it was the propitious opportunity to experience the beginning neopl\u00e1sticos. In spite of having drifted apart of Van Doesburg<\/a> and of leaving the group in 1921, this work and later Caf\u00e9 De Unie <\/a>of 1925, is imbued with the spirit of the group. Oud experienced a three-dimensional exercise where it applies the palette of colors that Bart Van der Leck<\/a> impropuso in the group and Piet Mondrian adopted like representative of the neoplasticismo.<\/p>\n

The construction of the office was realized entirely in wood. It is composed by three volumes: one bucket of red color and similar other one of blue color, intercepted by a volume more stylized of yellow color. The yellow volume contains the door of access, and on her Oud I record in vertical sense the word the director, with the typography used in the front page of Stijl’s magazine. In the interior, the wood appears in natural, varnished form. The blue bucket contains a room, kitchen and bath and the red bucket is a great space without divisions. Inaugurated the works in 1923, the office of the director I remain unoccupied. Time later it was intrusaded and finally left on the second world war having begun, to end inflamed by an action vand\u00e1lica in 1944.<\/p>\n

The interest to preserve the inheritance of the group Of Stijl mobilized to organisms of government and organizations deprived to recovering the major quantity of possible works. In 1974 the Schr\u00f6der house<\/strong> was restored and happened to form a part of the Centraal Museum Utrech. In 1986 there was reconstructed the building of Unie’s Coffee<\/strong> under the direction of the architect Carel Weeber<\/a>. Finally in 1992 I reconstruct the house of the director according to the original planes, under the architect’s direction Wytze Patijn<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Cando Johanes Jacobus Pieter Oud<\/a> \u00e9 nomeado arquitecto da cidade de Rotterdam en 1918, un dos seus primeiros obxectivos foi planificar unha importante cantidade de intervenci\u00f3ns urbanas, promovendo a construci\u00f3n de numerosos barrios co obxectivo de paliar o d\u00e9ficit de vivendas. A primeira intervenci\u00f3n do plan urban\u00edstico que fai p\u00fablico \u00e9 o dese\u00f1o de vivendas do barrio Sprangen<\/a>, que leva a cabo meses despois. A construci\u00f3n da oficina realizouse integramente en madeira. Est\u00e1 composta por tres volumes: un cubo de cor vermella e outro similar de cor azul, interceptados por un volume m\u00e1is estilizado de cor amarela. O volume amarelo cont\u00e9n a porta de acceso, e sobre ela Oud gravo en sentido vertical a palabra director, coa tipograf\u00eda utilizada na portada da revista De Stijl. No interior, a madeira m\u00f3strase en forma natural, vernizada. O cubo azul cont\u00e9n un cuarto, coci\u00f1a e ba\u00f1o e o cubo vermello \u00e9 un grande espazo sen divisi\u00f3ns. Inauguradas as obras en 1923, a oficina do Director quedo desocupada. Tempo despois foi ocupada e finalmente abandonada ao iniciarse a segunda guerra mundial, para rematar incendiada por unha acci\u00f3n vand\u00e1lica en 1944.<\/p>\n
