Julio Lafuente Garc\u00eda naci\u00f3 en Madrid en 1921 (2013). Emigr\u00f3 a Francia con su familia y estudi\u00f3 arquitectura en la Escuela Nacional Superior de Bellas Artes de Par\u00eds. Despu\u00e9s de la guerra, decidi\u00f3 comenzar su \u201cGrand Tour\u201d en Italia en una motocicleta BMW. En Roma se encontr\u00f3 el efervescente ambiente cultural de la \u201cDolce Vita\u201d y se enamor\u00f3 de la ciudad de la antig\u00fcedad cl\u00e1sica y sus emergentes barrios modernos.<\/p>\n

En los a\u00f1os 50 trabaj\u00f3 con la firma Luccichenti M\u00f3naco en la realizaci\u00f3n de numerosos proyectos, entre otros las casas gemelas de S. Marinella y las oficinas de la SIAE. En 1958, gan\u00f3 el Primer Premio del Concurso Internacional para el monumento que conmemora a las v\u00edctimas de Auschwitz. En los a\u00f1os posteriores, en Roma, colabora ampliamente con el ingeniero Gaetano Rebecchini en varias obras, entre ellas el hip\u00f3dromo Tor di Valle y el Hospital de la Soberana Orden de Malta en la Magliana, donde se mezcla magistralmente el antiguo edificio del siglo XVII con el equipo del complejo arquitect\u00f3nico moderno.<\/p>\n

Julio Lafuente Garc\u00eda was born in Madrid in 1921 (2013). It emigrated to France with his family and studied architecture in the National Top School of Fine arts of Paris. After the war, it decided to begin his \u00abGrand Tour\u00bb in Italy in a motorcycle BMW. In Rome one found the effervescent cultural environment of the \u00abDolce Vita\u00bb and fell in love with the city of the classic antiquity and his emergent modern neighborhoods.<\/p>\n

In the 50s Luccichenti M\u00f3naco was employed with the signature at the accomplishment of numerous projects, between others the twin houses of S. Marinella and the offices of the SIAE. In 1958, it gained the First Prize of the International Contest for the monument that he commemorates to the victims of Auschwitz. In the later years, in Rome, he collaborates widely with the engineer Gaetano Rebecchini in several works, between them the racetrack Tor I gave Valley and the Hospital of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Magliana, where the former building of the 17th century is mixed masterfully by the equipment of the architectural modern complex.<\/p>\n
