De \u00e9stos, el presente es brev\u00edsimo, el futuro dudoso, el pasado cierto; pero \u00e9ste, que ning\u00fan imperio puede volver atr\u00e1s y en el que perdi\u00f3 ya su derecho la fortuna, es el que no gozan los ocupados, por faltarles tiempo para poner los ojos en lo pasado\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\" align=\"right\">S\u00e9neca: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/gp\/product\/1503040712?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=3626&amp;creativeASIN=1503040712&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;tag=wwwveredeses-21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>De la brevedad de la vida<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As\u00ed como el <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/S%C3%A9neca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fil\u00f3sofo<\/a> divide a la vida en tres grandes momentos, si consideramos al patrimonio como algo vivo, podemos aplicarle esa triple definici\u00f3n, ampliando y enriqueciendo un concepto ya complejo desde su origen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inicialmente vinculado a la herencia recibida, <a href=\"https:\/\/lema.rae.es\/drae\/srv\/search?id=711QinQReDXX25ba9lgG\"><em>patri-monium<\/em><\/a> \u2014literalmente <em>de nuestros padres<\/em>\u2014, enseguida adquiere su condici\u00f3n vital al transformarse en bienes que se deben administrar desde el presente para garantizar su pervivencia. Si, adem\u00e1s, se trata de bienes colectivos, su gesti\u00f3n y preservaci\u00f3n se vuelve m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil, desencadenando nuevos retos y problemas y entremezcl\u00e1ndose los derechos y los deberes compartidos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ese patrimonio com\u00fan posee, en cada uno de los tres momentos indicados por S\u00e9neca, una problem\u00e1tica diferenciada y complementaria: El pasado supone el problema de la conservaci\u00f3n, de saber recibir y valorar adecuadamente aquello que nos han legado las generaciones precedentes, seleccion\u00e1ndolo y estudi\u00e1ndolo en detalle. El presente implica el problema del mantenimiento, del uso y disfrute, de la acci\u00f3n inmediata y tambi\u00e9n de la inanici\u00f3n. El futuro trae consigo el problema de decidir nuestro propio legado y, en el patrimonio construido, tambi\u00e9n aquello que, como arquitectos, nos toca m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximo: el problema del <em>proyecto<\/em>, de prefigurar en lo posible su existencia venidera. En su <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/gp\/product\/8425222362?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=3626&amp;creativeASIN=8425222362&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;tag=wwwveredeses-21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Alegor\u00eda del Patrimonio<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fran%C3%A7oise_Choay\">Fran\u00e7oise Choay<\/a> advert\u00eda que este concepto no se deber\u00eda entender como una riqueza f\u00f3sil, si no como una herencia activa frente a la mercantilizaci\u00f3n y a la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.circulobellasartes.com\/benjamin\/termino.php?id=951\">\u00abmuseificaci\u00f3n\u00bb<\/a> \u2014al anclaje en el pasado\u2014, tan extendidas en nuestro entorno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marco_Polo\">Marco Polo<\/a>, en su recorrido por <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Las_ciudades_invisibles\"><em>Las<\/em> <em>Ciudades Invisibles<\/em><\/a> sabiamente imaginado por <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Italo_Calvino\">Calvino<\/a> en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/gp\/product\/8478444157?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=3626&amp;creativeASIN=8478444157&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;tag=wwwveredeses-21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">libro hom\u00f3nimo<\/a>, hace un alto en Maurilia, a la que recuerda de la siguiente manera:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00abPara no decepcionar a los habitantes hace falta que el viajero elogie la ciudad de las postales y la prefiera a la presente, aunque cuid\u00e1ndose de contener dentro de l\u00edmites precisos su pesadumbre ante los cambios: reconociendo que la magnificencia y prosperidad de Maurilia convertida en metr\u00f3poli, comparada con la vieja Maurilia provinciana, no compensan cierta gracia perdida, que sin embargo se puede disfrutar ahora s\u00f3lo en las viejas postales, mientras que antes, con la Maurilia provinciana delante de los ojos, de gracioso no se ve\u00eda realmente nada, y mucho menos se ver\u00eda hoy si Maurilia hubiese permanecido igual, y que de todos modos la metr\u00f3poli tiene este atractivo m\u00e1s: que a trav\u00e9s de lo que ha llegado a ser se puede evocar con nostalgia lo que fue\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Lo que fue<\/em>. El patrimonio ha servido para construir la historia, para construir el pasado. En la actualidad, como afirma <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Horacio_Capel\">Horacio Capel<\/a>,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00abadem\u00e1s de esa funci\u00f3n de construir una visi\u00f3n del pasado, el patrimonio sirve tambi\u00e9n para construir el futuro\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La enorme extensi\u00f3n que alcanza hoy esta herencia, con un legado ubicuo y polis\u00e9mico, d\u00f3nde est\u00e1n presentes la cultura material pero tambi\u00e9n la inmaterial \u2014saberes, tradiciones, celebraciones&#8230;.\u2014, pone de manifiesto las dificultades de la tarea colectiva a la que nos enfrentamos. Como en el relato de Calvino, \u00abciudades diferentes se suceden sobre el mismo suelo y bajo el mismo nombre, que nacen y mueren sin haberse conocido, incomunicables entre s\u00ed\u00bb, y nuestro patrimonio es algo cada vez m\u00e1s vivo, poli\u00e9drico e invisible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Antonio S. If, in addition, it is a question of collective goods, his management and preservation becomes more difficult, unleashing new challenges and problems and intermingling the rights and the shared dutie<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This common heritage possesses, in each of three moments indicated by Seneca, a differentiated and complementary problematics: The past supposes the problem of the conservation, of being able to receive and value adequately that one that us the previous generations have bequeathed, selecting it and studying it in detail. The present implies the problem of the maintenance, of the use and enjoyment, of the immediate action and also of the starvation. Profesor invitado en la Robert Gordon University de Aberdeen (Reino Unido), en la Universidade do Minho (Portugal) y en la Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (Italia). Director del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n \u00abHistoria de la restauraci\u00f3n y puesta en valor del patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico en Galicia\u00bb, becado por la Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial de A Coru\u00f1a en el a\u00f1o 2007. Miembro de la red UEDXX Urbanism of European Dictatorships during the XXth Century, del Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n en Historia de la Arquitectura y del Grupo de Innovaci\u00f3n Docente en Historia de la Arquitectura. Profesor en el Departamento de Proyectos Arquitect\u00f3nicos, Urbanismo y Composici\u00f3n de la Universidade da Coru\u00f1a, imparte las asignaturas Introducci\u00f3n a la Arquitectura, Historia de la Arquitectura, Paisaje Cultural y T\u00e9cnicas de Investigaci\u00f3n y Documentaci\u00f3n en Arquitectura. Profesor invitado en la Robert Gordon University de Aberdeen (Reino Unido), en la Universidade do Minho (Portugal) y en la Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (Italia). Director del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n \u00abHistoria de la restauraci\u00f3n y puesta en valor del patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico en Galicia\u00bb, becado por la Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial de A Coru\u00f1a en el a\u00f1o 2007. Miembro de la red UEDXX Urbanism of European Dictatorships during the XXth Century, del Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n en Historia de la Arquitectura y del Grupo de Innovaci\u00f3n Docente en Historia de la Arquitectura.
