Debo confesar que s\u00f3lo hab\u00eda visto fragmentos de esta pel\u00edcula y ahora, que la he visto entera, quiz\u00e1s alg\u00fan d\u00eda escriba algo en este blog sobre esta descarada hagiograf\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los extras de la edici\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola hay una entrevista que le hizo <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alexander_Payne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alexander Payne<\/a> a Pollack cuando el documental se estren\u00f3 en Los \u00c1ngeles, presentada por The Film Foundation, Vanity Fair y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiffany.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tiffany\u00a0Co<\/a>., como puede observarse, en algunos pa\u00edses civilizados las firmas comerciales apuestan por actos culturales relacionados con el cine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este di\u00e1logo alguien del p\u00fablico\u00a0le pregunt\u00f3 a Pollack:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201c\u00bfPuede establecer algunas comparaciones entre ser arquitecto y director?\u201d <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">y \u00e9ste respondi\u00f3:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>Espero que no sean egoc\u00e9ntricas, pero creo que la arquitectura est\u00e1 muy cerca, en un an\u00e1lisis r\u00e1pido, de las pel\u00edculas. Es un arte mosaico. Est\u00e1 formado por otras muchas artes. Como director, no tienes que ser un experto en todo, pero tienes que saber lo suficiente de fotograf\u00eda, por ejemplo, para saber c\u00f3mo utilizar las lentes y la luz emocionalmente, tienes que saber de arquitectura para saber en qu\u00e9 piso vive el personaje, tienes que saber de dise\u00f1o para escoger la ropa adecuada, tienes que saber c\u00f3mo funciona la luz para rodar las escenas. Tienes a gente experta que te hace todo eso, pero t\u00fa la controlas. Imaginas le pel\u00edcula a un nivel idealista, pero no puedes hacerla sin traducirla a trav\u00e9s de otras quince disciplinas, lo que hace que sientas una terrible frustraci\u00f3n. Imaginas un edificio, por eso a Frank <\/em>[Gehry]<em> le encantan los esbozos, porque para \u00e9l es la forma est\u00e9tica m\u00e1s pura. Ahora tienes que construir el edificio. Eso significa que se deben tener proveedores, tuber\u00edas, escaleras y ascensores. La gente tiene que entrar y salir. Hay tambi\u00e9n problemas pr\u00e1cticos. Es una especie de gran mosaico y en ese sentido creo que se pueden comparar. I must confess that only it had seen fragments of this movie and now, that I have seen her he informs, probably some day writes something in this blog on this shameless hagiography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Between the extras of the Spanish edition there is an interview that\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alexander_Payne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alexander Payne<\/a> did to Pollack when the documentary had the premiere in Los Angeles, presented by\u00a0The Film Foundation, Vanity Fair and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiffany.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tiffany Co<\/a>., since it can be observed, in some civilized countries the commercial signatures bet for cultural acts related to the cinema.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this dialog someone of the public asked Pollack him:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cCan it establish some comparisons between being architect and the director? \u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">and this one answered:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>I hope that they are not egocentric, but I think that the architecture is closely together, in a rapid analysis, of the movies. It is a Mosaic art. It is formed by other many arts. As the director, you do not have to be an expert in everything, but you have to know the sufficient of photography, for example, to know how to use the lenses and the light emotionally, have to know of architecture to know in what floor the personage lives, have to know of design to choose the suitable clothes, have to know how the light works to roll the scenes. You have expert people who does all that to you, but you control her. You imagine him movie to an idealistic level, but you cannot do it without her translating across other fifteen disciplines, which does that you sit a terrible frustration. You imagine a building, because of it Frank [Gehry] is charmed with the sketches, because for him it is the purest aesthetic form. Now you have to construct the building.
