Los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas 5 y 6 de febrero, una veintena de estudios catalanes viajar\u00e1n a Ginebra (Suiza) como representantes de una amplia muestra del modelo de arquitectura de vivienda social construida en Barcelona en los \u00faltimos diez a\u00f1os. Las veinte obras seleccionadas se podr\u00e1n ver en Pavillon SICLI de Ginebra <\/strong>bajo el lema _Export BARCELONA <\/strong>\u2018Social Housing in Urban Context\u2019 <\/em>hasta el 22 del mismo mes, <\/strong>gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n entre el Cities Connection Project<\/strong> y la Maison de l\u2019Architecture. <\/strong><\/p>\n

El evento _Export BARCELONA <\/strong>\u2018Social Housing in Urban Context\u2019<\/em> incluye la edici\u00f3n de un cat\u00e1logo que recoge la informaci\u00f3n de las veinte obras seleccionadas, incorpora Realidad Aumentada y contextualiza la selecci\u00f3n de proyectos en un timeline <\/em>hist\u00f3rico de obras de referencia. La exposici\u00f3n empezar\u00e1 el d\u00eda 5 de febrero con una conferencia inaugural de Vicente Guallart<\/strong>, Arquitecto Jefe del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, y contar\u00e1 con la presencia de Antonio Hodgers, Conseiller d\u2019\u00c9tat de Gen\u00e8ve, y Francesco Della Casa, Architecte cantonal, representando las instituciones suizas, y de Jordi Sellas, Director General de Creaci\u00f3n y Empresas Culturales. El evento de los d\u00edas 5 y 6 de febrero tambi\u00e9n incluir\u00e1 entrevistas, encuentros de debate entre profesionales e instituciones de Barcelona y suizas y visitas a edificios clave en la historia de la vivienda colectiva de Ginebra. CITIES CONNECTION PROJECT<\/strong><\/p>\n

El evento _Export BARCELONA <\/strong>\u2018Social Housing in Urban Context\u2019<\/em> se enmarca dentro del C<\/strong>ities Connection Project<\/strong> que conecta regularmente la arquitectura m\u00e1s destacada<\/strong> de dos regiones europeas en un encuentro de ida y vuelta, y que en esta ocasi\u00f3n <\/em>ha escogido Ginebra<\/strong> y Barcelona<\/strong>. La primera fase del intercambio, _Import GENEVA <\/em><\/strong>\u2018Building Geneva: projects versus challenges\u2019, <\/em>tuvo lugar en Barcelona los pasados d\u00edas 13 al 24 de noviembre de 2014 en el Arts Santa M\u00f2nica Centre de la Creativitat. <\/strong>Edici\u00f3n tras edici\u00f3n, Cities Connection Project (CCP) <\/strong>pretende conectar la arquitectura europea comprometida con la realidad social, huyendo de una arquitectura medi\u00e1tica<\/strong>. \u201cLa vivienda social es el presente y es el futuro. Uno de los elementos caracter\u00edsticos del \u201dModelo Barcelona\u201d es la calidad de los edificios residenciales y la optimizaci\u00f3n de las tipolog\u00edas que recoge la herencia de los grandes arquitectos catalanes desde los a\u00f1os treinta\u201d, <\/em>a\u00f1ade Bustos.<\/p>\n

FUTURAS EDICIONES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Para las pr\u00f3ximas ediciones, Cities Connection Project <\/strong>ya tiene previsto enlazar ciudades como Marsella<\/strong>, Z\u00farich<\/strong>, Berl\u00edn<\/strong> y Bruselas<\/strong>. Sobre el Cities Connection Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cities Connection Project (CCP) es un conector entre ciudades a trav\u00e9s de su arquitectura, creado por los arquitectos Nicola Regusci y Xavier Bustos, con el objetivo de generar sinergias entre<\/strong> arquitectos, agentes culturales, administraciones y universidades <\/strong>entre ciudades europeas. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Cities Connection Project (CCP) naci\u00f3 con el deseo de establecer una conexi\u00f3n cultural entre dos ciudades europeas con una importante tradici\u00f3n arquitect\u00f3nica y cultural. Una serie de exposiciones de arquitectura son el centro de este proyecto, que tambi\u00e9n incluye conferencias, encuentros, reuniones entre las universidades y el deseo de crear v\u00ednculos entre los arquitectos involucrados. Cada evento, llamado Connection<\/em>, se compone de una primera exposici\u00f3n en Barcelona de proyectos de la ciudad invitada, seguida de una segunda presentaci\u00f3n de proyectos de Barcelona en la ciudad invitada. Cada nueva conexi\u00f3n muestra una nueva tem\u00e1tica que tendr\u00e1 en cuenta la idiosincrasia y el legado cultural y arquitect\u00f3nico de la ciudad o regi\u00f3n invitada.<\/p>\n

Cities Connection Project cuenta con el apoyo de diversas instituciones p\u00fablicas de las ciudades implicadas, fundaciones, universidades y patrocinadores privados.<\/p>\n

CATALOGUE EDITION<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event _Export BARCELONA<\/strong> ‘Social Housing in Urban Context’<\/em> includes the publication of a catalogue with information about the twenty selected works, incorporating Augmented Reality and contextualizing the selected projects in a historical timeline of reference works. The catalogue is also intended to be the most up to date compendium of recent and prominent Catalan social architecture<\/strong>. \u00abSelected studios are part of an architectural generation who have tried to respond to social demands of the current economic situation by rethinking the typology and integration ways within the city,\u00bb<\/em> says Nicola Regusci, also cofounder of the Cities Connection Project. EXHIBITION AND INAUGURAL CONFERENCE <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cities Connection Project (CCP) is a connector between cities and their architecture, created by architects Nicola Regusci and Xavier Bustos, with the aim of generating synergies between architects, cultural agents, governments and universities among European cities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Cities Connection Project (CCP) was created with the desire to establish a cultural connection between two European cities with an important architectural and cultural tradition. Architecture exhibitions are the focus of this project, which also includes lectures, networking, meetings between universities and the desire to create links between the architects involved. Each event, called Connection<\/em>, consists firstly of an exhibition in Barcelona featuring guest city projects, followed by a second presentation of Barcelona projects in the guest city. Each new connection will offer a new theme that will always take into account the idiosyncrasies and the cultural and architectural background of the invited city or region.<\/p>\n

The Cities Connection Project has the support of foundations, universities, private sponsors and many public institutions of the cities involved.<\/p>\n
