Me parece que todas las cosas, incluso el formalismo contempor\u00e1neo, y hasta el sentido del humor, tienen su l\u00edmite, y creo que este es uno de ellos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cierto es, lo s\u00e9, que un redondel gana algo de racionalidad, en alguno de sus aspectos, si se pone de pie, ya que sus estratos horizontales \u2013sus plantas- no quedan afectados por las rigideces de la forma redonda. De todos modos, la traidora geometr\u00eda circular tambi\u00e9n te vence en este caso, pues te va obligando a que las plataformas horizontales tengan el tama\u00f1o irracional que el c\u00edrculo dicta.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfSe ve\u00edan tan seguros los autores de lograr algo enormemente cualificado? <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pues s\u00f3lo esto podr\u00eda perdonar un formalismo tan exacerbado. Ya que el formalismo s\u00f3lo alcanza sentido, verdaderamente, si consigue ser olvidado; esto es, si consigue que, finalmente, la forma parezca un resultado y no un punto de partida. Muy dif\u00edcil hubiera sido, en este caso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No obstante, esta promoci\u00f3n ha sido llevada tambi\u00e9n por el viento de la recesi\u00f3n. Quien est\u00e9 m\u00e1s interesado puede buscarlo all\u00ed, pues aqu\u00ed se har\u00e1 algo m\u00e1s resumido.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y distinto. Me parece importante tratar aqu\u00ed el hecho de la falsa conservaci\u00f3n de un edificio patrimonial, asunto que est\u00e1 en la base misma de esta actuaci\u00f3n. No s\u00e9 si los restos del viejo caser\u00f3n que en su d\u00eda fue una central el\u00e9ctrica merec\u00eda o no ser un edificio protegido. Pero, si era as\u00ed \u2013al menos, por hip\u00f3tesis-, deber\u00eda de haberse conservado. Y, si no, resulta algo superfluo que se haya utilizado como un pretexto proyectual, m\u00e1s o menos conceptualista. La central el\u00e9ctrica ya no existe, se ha convertido en un lacerado cad\u00e1ver, por lo que la conservaci\u00f3n patrimonial ha sido defraudada.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfNo hubiera sido mejor que se hubiera permitido hacerla desaparecer, y que as\u00ed el nuevo proyecto hubiera sido intelectualmente m\u00e1s honrado al haber tenido que buscar su inspiraci\u00f3n en otro asunto m\u00e1s razonable y atractivo?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Porque utilizar la c\u00e1scara de la vieja central para representar el milagro de cortarla por su base y de dejarla suspendida en el aire como un tema formal pretendidamente ins\u00f3lito, perm\u00edtanme decir que no es otra cosa que un chiste malo. Es un chiste casi tan malo como el de la plaza de Castilla, con las torres que se caen y que no acaban de caerse, y que, como tal chiste, se convierte en repugnante cuando dura, y dura, y sigue durando. Pues la arquitectura tiene esa caracter\u00edstica bien conocida de su absoluta terquedad, de que no cambia nunca, por lo que sus temas formales necesitan aguantar bien el paso de un tiempo cruelmente invariable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No creo que, tampoco, el edificio del Caixa Forum haya vencido el problema primario de composici\u00f3n que los arquitectos mismos se plantearon al hacer crecer el volumen hacia arriba. Creo que han fracasado en este tema tan claro sencillamente por completo, y que el resultado s\u00f3lo puede satisfacer a los aficionados m\u00e1s viciosos a un \u201ccollage\u201d moderno-antiguo, ya bastante pasado de moda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Por otro lado, y para acabar, me parece bastante decepcionante el detalle muy importante de que, al llegar a la cafeter\u00eda, en el piso alto, las planchas de acero cort\u00e9n se agujerean para dar algo de luz y de vista, pero no se retiran lo suficiente para ofrecer la espl\u00e9ndida vista que se podr\u00eda tener sobre el Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico y el sector Este de la ciudad, y que haya de verse esto tan s\u00f3lo mirando por un agujerito. Creo que el formalismo brilla as\u00ed, en este edificio, mucho m\u00e1s que la calidad, y que para esto no hac\u00eda falta traerse a personalidades extranjeras supuestamente brillantes. Nueva trasera del Museo del Prado, de Rafael Moneo\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nueva-trasera-del-Museo-del-Prado-de-Rafael-Moneo.jpg 620w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nueva-trasera-del-Museo-del-Prado-de-Rafael-Moneo-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-49589\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Nueva trasera del Museo del Prado, de Rafael Moneo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las otras rehabilitaciones han sido mucho m\u00e1s importantes y, por fortuna, y a juicio de quien escribe, mucho m\u00e1s cualificadas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La primera es la ampliaci\u00f3n del Museo del Prado, de Rafael Moneo, despu\u00e9s de un concurso de ideas con programa libre y de otro restringido a los seleccionados en aqu\u00e9l y con un programa muy estrictamente condicionado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La ampliaci\u00f3n ha resuelto las carencias funcionales que en el Museo eran end\u00e9micas (falta de sal\u00f3n de Actos, de salas de exposiciones, confusi\u00f3n en los accesos, falta de servicios varios,..), logrando ordenar muy adecuadamente un espacio disponible bastante limitado, de una parte, y saneando de una manera muy satisfactoria los espacios urbanos de la trasera del edificio, de otra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quien haga memoria recordar\u00e1 que el edificio de Villanueva, traicionado en su revolucionaria tipolog\u00eda por las retr\u00f3gradas reformas de Arb\u00f3s, primero, y de Chueca y Lorente despu\u00e9s, que tergiversaron su disposici\u00f3n originaria exenta y sin patios, presentaba una trasera muy desafortunada, y en la que los nuevos vol\u00famenes que lo hab\u00edan empeorado fing\u00edan figurativamente que eran originales, como si el tiempo no hubiera transcurrido y la ignorancia hubiera sido inocua. El edificio se resent\u00eda de un encuentro con el terreno que continuaba indeciso entre la horizontalidad y la condici\u00f3n inclinada, y que para resolverlo hab\u00eda ido convirtiendo su trasera en una suerte de gigante \u201cpatio ingl\u00e9s\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nada que ver con el orden urbano, la limpieza espacial y volum\u00e9trica y la adecuaci\u00f3n que hoy vemos. El \u201cjard\u00edn de los arrayanes\u201d de la cubierta ha domesticado la superficie semi-subterr\u00e1nea de la ampliaci\u00f3n, que entesta adecuadamente con las fachadas espurias, y que libera mediante un patio el \u00e1bside <em>vilanoviano<\/em>, que hab\u00eda sido tan disminuido y puesto en duda por aqu\u00e9llas. Anyhow, the traitress circular geometry also conquers you in this case, since it is forcing you that the horizontal platforms have the irrational size that the circle dictates. Were authors meeting so sure of achieving something enormously qualified? Since only this might excuse such an irritated formalism. Since the formalism only reaches sense, really, if it manages to be forgotten; this is, if it achieves that, finally, the form looks like a result and not a point of item. Very difficult it had been, in this case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nevertheless, this promotion has been taken also by the wind of the recession. Par\u00e9ceme que todas as cousas, mesmo o formalismo contempor\u00e1neo, e ata o sentido do humor, te\u00f1en o seu l\u00edmite, e creo que este \u00e9 un deles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Certo \u00e9, seino, que un c\u00edrculo ga\u00f1a algo de racionalidade, nalg\u00fan dos seus aspectos, se se pon de p\u00e9, xa que os seus estratos horizontais -as s\u00faas plantas- non quedan afectados polas rixideces da forma redonda. De todos os xeitos, a traidora xeometr\u00eda circular tam\u00e9n te vence neste caso, pois te vai obrigando a que as plataformas horizontais te\u00f1an o tama\u00f1o irracional que o c\u00edrculo dita. \u00bfV\u00edanse tan seguros os autores de lograr algo enormemente cualificado? Pois s\u00f3 isto poder\u00eda perdoar un formalismo tan exacerbado. Xa que o formalismo s\u00f3 alcanza sentido, verdadeiramente, se consegue ser esquecido; isto \u00e9, se consegue que, finalmente, a forma pareza un resultado e non un punto de partida. Moi dif\u00edcil ter\u00eda sido, neste caso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Non obstante, esta promoci\u00f3n foi levada tam\u00e9n polo vento da recesi\u00f3n. Quen estea m\u00e1is interesado pode buscalo al\u00ed, pois aqu\u00ed se far\u00e1 algo m\u00e1is resumido.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E distinto. Par\u00e9ceme importante tratar aqu\u00ed o feito da falsa conservaci\u00f3n dun edificio patrimonial, asunto que est\u00e1 na base mesma desta actuaci\u00f3n. Non sei se os restos do vello casar\u00f3n que no seu d\u00eda foi unha central el\u00e9ctrica merec\u00eda ou non ser un edificio protexido. Pero, se era as\u00ed -polo menos, por hip\u00f3tese-, deber\u00eda de terse conservado. E, se non, resulta algo superfluo que se utilizase como un pretexto proyectual, m\u00e1is ou menos conceptualista. A central el\u00e9ctrica xa non existe, converteuse nun lacerado cad\u00e1ver, polo que a conservaci\u00f3n patrimonial foi defraudada. \u00bfNon ter\u00eda sido mellor que se tivese permitido facela desaparecer, e que as\u00ed o novo proxecto ter\u00eda sido intelectualmente m\u00e1is honrado ao ter tido que buscar a s\u00faa inspiraci\u00f3n noutro asunto m\u00e1is razoable e atractivo?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Porque utilizar a casca da vella central para representar o milagre de cortala pola s\u00faa base e de deixala suspendida no aire como un tema formal pretendidamente ins\u00f3lito, me permitan dicir que non \u00e9 outra cousa que un chiste malo. \u00c9 un chiste case tan malo como o da praza de Castela, coas torres que caen e que non acaban de caer, e que, como tal chiste, se converte en repugnante cando dura, e dura, e segue durando. Pois a arquitectura ten esa caracter\u00edstica ben co\u00f1ecida da s\u00faa absoluta teimos\u00eda, de que non cambia nunca, polo que os seus temas formais necesitan aguantar ben o paso dun tempo cruelmente invariable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Non creo que, tampouco, o edificio do Caixa Forum vencese o problema primario de composici\u00f3n que os arquitectos mesmos se formularon ao facer crecer o volume cara a arriba. Creo que fracasaron neste tema tan claro sinxelamente por completo, e que o resultado s\u00f3 pode satisfacer aos afeccionados m\u00e1is viciosos a unha\u00a0\u201ccollage\u201d moderno-antigo, xa bastante pasado de moda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por outro lado, e para rematar, par\u00e9ceme bastante decepcionante o detalle moi importante de que, ao chegar \u00e1 cafetar\u00eda, no piso alto, as pranchas de aceiro cort\u00e9n se perforan para dar algo de luz e de vista, pero non se retiran o suficiente para ofrecer a espl\u00e9ndida vista que se poder\u00eda ter sobre o Xard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico e o sector Leste da cidade, e que haxa de verse isto tan s\u00f3 mirando por un agujerito. Creo que o formalismo brilla as\u00ed, neste edificio, moito m\u00e1is que a calidade, e que para isto non fac\u00eda falta traerse a personalidades estranxeiras supostamente brillantes. E, por certo, sen concurso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foi este tema unha gran decepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_49589\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-49589\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nueva-trasera-del-Museo-del-Prado-de-Rafael-Moneo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-49589\" title=\"Nueva-trasera-del-Museo-del-Prado,-de-Rafael-Moneo\" src=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nueva-trasera-del-Museo-del-Prado-de-Rafael-Moneo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nueva-trasera-del-Museo-del-Prado-de-Rafael-Moneo.jpg 620w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nueva-trasera-del-Museo-del-Prado-de-Rafael-Moneo-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-49589\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Nova traseira do Museo do Prado, de Rafael Moneo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As outras rehabilitaci\u00f3ns foron moito m\u00e1is importantes e, por fortuna, e a xu\u00edzo de quen escribe, moito m\u00e1is cualificadas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A primeira \u00e9 a ampliaci\u00f3n do Museo do Prado, de Rafael Moneo, despois dun concurso de ideas con programa libre e doutro restrinxido aos seleccionados naquel e cun programa moi estritamente condicionado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A ampliaci\u00f3n resolveu as carencias funcionais que no Museo eran end\u00e9micas (falta de sal\u00f3n de Actos, de salas de exposici\u00f3ns, confusi\u00f3n nos accesos, falta de servizos varios..), logrando ordenar moi axeitadamente un espazo dispo\u00f1ible bastante limitado, dunha parte, e saneando dun xeito moi satisfactorio os espazos urbanos da traseira do edificio, doutra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quen faga memoria recordar\u00e1 que o edificio de Villanueva, traizoado na s\u00faa revolucionaria tipolox\u00eda polas retr\u00f3gradas reformas de Arb\u00f3s, primeiro, e de Chueca e Lorente despois, que terxiversaron a s\u00faa disposici\u00f3n orixinaria exenta e sen patios, presentaba unha traseira moi desafortunada, e na que os novos volumes que o empeoraran finx\u00edan figurativamente que eran orixinais, coma se o tempo non tivese transcorrido e a ignorancia ter\u00eda sido inocua. O edificio resent\u00edase dun encontro co terreo que continuaba indeciso entre a horizontalidade e a condici\u00f3n inclinada, e que para resolvelo fora convertendo a s\u00faa traseira nunha sorte de xigante\u00a0\u201cpatio ingl\u00e9s\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nada que ver coa orde urbana, a limpeza espacial e volum\u00e9trica e a adecuaci\u00f3n que hoxe vemos. O \u201cxard\u00edn dos arrai\u00e1ns\u201d da cuberta domesticou a superficie semi-subterr\u00e1nea da ampliaci\u00f3n, que entesta axeitadamente coas fachadas espurias, e que libera mediante un patio a \u00e1bsida <em>vilanoviano<\/em>, que fora tan diminu\u00eddo e posto en d\u00fabida por aquelas. A peatonalizaci\u00f3n da r\u00faa Ruiz de Alarc\u00f3n quedou valorada coa convincente uni\u00f3n entre o volume novo en torno ao claustro e a Igrexa dos Xer\u00f3nimos, e todo este sector urbano brilla hoxe cunha orde que desterrou a vella inadecuaci\u00f3n e o tradicional abandono que antes lle era propio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Houbo moitos que criticaron aspectos figurativos tanto exteriores como internos, e acaso sexa certo que haxa na ampliaci\u00f3n cuesti\u00f3ns visuais non de todo logradas, ou convincentes, non sei. Non me parecen importantes ao lado da orde e da adecuaci\u00f3n que hoxe todo respira, e que lograron facer do Museo do Prado unha instituci\u00f3n f\u00edsica e arquitectonicamente \u00e1 altura da colecci\u00f3n de pintura m\u00e1is importante do mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Creo que Madrid est\u00e1 neste caso de parab\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
