Entonces tom\u00e9 de <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ren%C3%A9_Magritte\">Magritte<\/a> una <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Treachery_of_Images\">met\u00e1fora<\/a> para simular la contradicci\u00f3n imperante en el panorama muse\u00edstico del momento, d\u00f3nde coexist\u00edan dos hechos aparentemente opuestos: eran instituciones inmersas en una gran crisis y, sin embargo, nunca en la historia hab\u00edan despertado tantas expectativas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La riqueza de la paradoja se manifestaba tambi\u00e9n en el concepto de \u00abmuseo de arte contempor\u00e1neo\u00bb: por una parte, nos remite a un lugar d\u00f3nde se almacenan objetos para ser examinados, conservados y, en cierta manera, congelados en el tiempo; por otra, el arte contempor\u00e1neo reclama convertirse en algo cada vez m\u00e1s conceptual, p\u00fablico, e incluso ef\u00edmero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Progresivamente, los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos permiten el acceso libre desde cualquier lugar del mundo a una inmensa galer\u00eda virtual con obras art\u00edsticas de todos los tiempos, generando un nuevo tipo de museo, una estructura intangible, abierta y compartida d\u00f3nde los creadores edifican sus parcelas y d\u00f3nde cualquier individuo puede convertirse en autor, como reclamaban muchos artistas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El museo actual ha querido buscar otros caminos alternativos, complementarios al espacio expositivo: ciclos de actividades, talleres did\u00e1cticos, mediatecas, tiendas y cafeter\u00edas&#8230; mientras intenta pervivir como el lugar d\u00f3nde cada persona pueda tener un encuentro directo, vivo y personal con la obra de arte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recientemente he podido leer el interesante libro de <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Estrella_de_Diego\">Estrella de Diego<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edicionescatedra.es\/\"><em>Rincones de postales<\/em><\/a>, d\u00f3nde dedica el cap\u00edtulo \u00abFocos sobre la historia: museos y catedrales\u00bb a reflexionar sobre la actualidad de estos espacios, observando c\u00f3mo han cambiado los museos porque su p\u00fablico tambi\u00e9n se ha transformado, ese p\u00fablico que retrata magistralmente <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thomas_Struth\">Struth<\/a> en sus <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomasstruth32.com\/smallsize\/photographs\/museum_photographs_1\/index.html\">series fotogr\u00e1ficas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00abNo solo son ahora mucho m\u00e1s abundantes, sino mucho m\u00e1s distra\u00eddos, piensan en sus cosas mientras el gu\u00eda o la autogu\u00eda, muy popularizada, va explicando las salas. Da igual lo que tengan delante, nada consigue atraparles genuinamente\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y as\u00ed, mientras el visitante pierde la capacidad de emoci\u00f3n, los museos siguen proliferando por todo pueblo y ciudad, invadiendo lugares y recursos p\u00fablicos independientemente del inter\u00e9s de su contenido. O incluso m\u00e1s grave: tristemente vac\u00edos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hace una d\u00e9cada escrib\u00ed que el museo deber\u00eda ser un lugar acogedor, d\u00f3nde lo m\u00e1s importante fuera lo expuesto en su interior y no el propio museo, y que su presencia en una ciudad deb\u00eda ser la de un organismo vivo abierto a la gran diversidad de manifestaciones que la sociedad pudiera ofrecer, desdibujando las fronteras entre lo privado y lo p\u00fablico, entre la obra de arte y la cultura de lo cotidiano, y ahora a\u00f1ado: d\u00f3nde el visitante recupere la capacidad de emocionarse porque, como bien lo expres\u00f3 Estrella de Diego, \u00abcada vez quedan menos lugares donde so\u00f1ar\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Antonio S. Then I took of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ren%C3%A9_Magritte\">Magritte<\/a> a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Treachery_of_Images\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">metaphor<\/a> to simulate the commanding contradiction in the panorama muse\u00edstico of the moment, where two seemingly opposite facts were coexisting: they were immersed institutions in a great crisis and, nevertheless, in the history they had never woken so many expectations up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The wealth of the paradox was demonstrating also in the concept of <em>\u00ab<\/em>contemporary art museum<em>\u00bb<\/em>: on one hand, he sends to a place his where objects are stored to be examined, preserved and, in certain way, frozen in the time; for other one, the contemporary art protests to turn into something increasingly conceptual, publicly, and even ephemeral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Progressively, the technological advances allow the free access from any place of the world to an immense virtual gallery with artistic works of all the times, generating a new type of museum, an intangible, opened and shared structure where the creators build his plots and where any individual can turn into author, since many artists were protesting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The current museum has wanted to look for other alternative, complementary ways to the explanatory space: cycles of activities, didactic workshops, mediatecas, shops and cafeterias &#8230; while it tries pervivir as the place where every person could have a direct, alive and personal meeting with the work of art.<\/p>\n<p>Recently I could have read\u00a0de <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Estrella_de_Diego\">Estrella de Diego<\/a>s\u00b4interesting book of postcards, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edicionescatedra.es\/\"><em>Rincones de postales<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0where he dedicates the chapter \u00abAreas on the history: museums and cathedrals\u00bb\u00a0to thinking about the current importance of these spaces, observing how they have changed the museums because his public also has transformed, this public who portrays masterfully <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thomas_Struth\">Struth<\/a>\u00a0in his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomasstruth32.com\/smallsize\/photographs\/museum_photographs_1\/index.html\">photographic series<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00abNot only they are now much more abundant, but much more absent-minded, the guide or the autoguide think about his things while, very popularized, it is explaining the rooms. There is all the same what they have ahead, nothing manages to catch them genuinely\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And this way, while the visitor loses the capacity of emotion, the museums continue proliferating for every people and city, invading places and public resources independently of the interest of his content. Or even more seriously: sadly empty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A decade ago I wrote that the museum should be a cozy place, where the most important thing was exposed in his interior and not the own museum, and that his presence in a city had to be that of an alive organism opened for the great diversity of manifestations that the company could offer, blurring the borders between the private thing and the public thing, between the work of art and the culture of the daily thing, and now I add: where the visitor recovers the aptitude to get excited because, as well\u00a0Estrella de Diego expressed it, \u00abevery time fewer places stay where to dream\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Antonio S. Profesor invitado en la Robert Gordon University de Aberdeen (Reino Unido), en la Universidade do Minho (Portugal) y en la Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (Italia). Director del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n \u00abHistoria de la restauraci\u00f3n y puesta en valor del patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico en Galicia\u00bb, becado por la Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial de A Coru\u00f1a en el a\u00f1o 2007. Miembro de la red UEDXX Urbanism of European Dictatorships during the XXth Century, del Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n en Historia de la Arquitectura y del Grupo de Innovaci\u00f3n Docente en Historia de la Arquitectura. Profesor en el Departamento de Proyectos Arquitect\u00f3nicos, Urbanismo y Composici\u00f3n de la Universidade da Coru\u00f1a, imparte las asignaturas Introducci\u00f3n a la Arquitectura, Historia de la Arquitectura, Paisaje Cultural y T\u00e9cnicas de Investigaci\u00f3n y Documentaci\u00f3n en Arquitectura. Profesor invitado en la Robert Gordon University de Aberdeen (Reino Unido), en la Universidade do Minho (Portugal) y en la Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (Italia). Director del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n \u00abHistoria de la restauraci\u00f3n y puesta en valor del patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico en Galicia\u00bb, becado por la Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial de A Coru\u00f1a en el a\u00f1o 2007. Miembro de la red UEDXX Urbanism of European Dictatorships during the XXth Century, del Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n en Historia de la Arquitectura y del Grupo de Innovaci\u00f3n Docente en Historia de la Arquitectura.
