Aquella visita fue organizada por un profesor de la Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid, autor de uno de los pabellones. Hab\u00edan pasado unos a\u00f1os desde la clausura de tan magno acontecimiento y el recinto estaba pr\u00e1cticamente abandonado, a excepci\u00f3n de los tres o cuatro pabellones que ya en aquel momento hab\u00edan sido reconvertidos en sedes corporativas y edificios de oficinas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aquel profesor nos llev\u00f3 con aire apesadumbrado a ver su pabell\u00f3n, que nos defini\u00f3 como \u201carquitectura en deconstrucci\u00f3n\u201d. Acostumbrados a estudiar hasta la saciedad (o quiz\u00e1 no tanto) el proceso constructivo de un edificio, y su per\u00edodo de uso, resultaba chocante, y algo desesperanzador, contemplar aquel mont\u00f3n de ladrillos sin ventanas, con el techo medio derrumbado y aspecto de haber sufrido un vendaval. S\u00f3lo hab\u00edan pasado unos a\u00f1os sin uso ni mantenimiento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Viene esto a cuenta del estado que presentan algunos de esos edificios emblem\u00e1ticos \u201cde los que salen en los libros\u201d y que terminamos por olvidar, como a abuelitos adorables pero algo pesados y que, un d\u00eda, descubrimos decr\u00e9pitos o directamente fallecidos. Esos abuelitos tuvieron una infancia prometedora, una lozana juventud y, en algunos casos una madurez interesante. Vemos sus fotos en blanco y negro, admiramos su aspecto, pulcro y preciso -\u201cya no se hacen cosas como las de antes\u201d- y a veces, hasta nos sorprendemos de lo modernos que resultaron para su tiempo. Y a alg\u00fan valiente le da por rastrear su historia y su estado actual. Y algunas sorpresas son descorazonadoras. Veamos un ejemplo:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El <strong>edificio Narkomfin<\/strong> fue construido en Mosc\u00fa, entre 1928 y 1932, como prototipo de la nueva vivienda colectivista rusa, por la asociaci\u00f3n de arquitectos contempor\u00e1neos (OSA), dirigidos por Moisei Ginzburg. Este edificio supuso, en su momento, un aut\u00e9ntico laboratorio de soluciones residenciales para el nuevo tipo de colectividad que promov\u00eda el estado sovi\u00e9tico. Durante estos a\u00f1os, Le Corbusier pas\u00f3 largas temporadas en la U.R.S.S. trabajando en el encargo del centrosoyuz y el concurso del palacio de los soviets, as\u00ed que no es descabellado imaginar que la influencia mutua entre ambos fue importante. That visit was organized by a teacher of the School of Architecture of Madrid, author of one of the pavilions. A few years had happened from the closing of so great event and the enclosure it was practically left, with the exception of three or four pavilions that already in that moment had been re-turned into corporate headquarters and office blocks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That teacher took us with air grieved to seeing his pavilion, which defined us as \u201carchitecture in deconstruction\u201d. Accustomed to studying up to the satiety (or probably not so much) the constructive process of a building, and his period of use, was turning out to be shoking, and some kind of desesperanzador, to contemplate that heap of bricks without windows, with the average demolished ceiling and aspect of having suffered a gale. Only a few years had happened without use or maintenance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This comes to account of the condition that there present some of these emblematic buildings \u201cof those who go out in the books\u201d and that we finish for forgetting, since to adorable but slightly heavy granddads and that, one day, we discover decrepit or directly deceased. We see his photos in black and white, admire his aspect, neat and precise &#8211; \u201calready things are not done as them of before\u201d &#8211; and sometimes, even we are surprised of it modern that they proved for his time. And it gives some brave one to for tracing his history and his current condition. And some surprises are disheartening. Let&#8217;s see an example:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Narkomfin building<\/strong> was constructed in Moscow, between 1928 and 1932, as prototype of the new collectivist Russian housing, for the association of contemporary architects (OSA Group), directed by Moisei Ginzburg this building supposed, in his moment, an authentic laboratory of residential solutions for the new type of collectivity that was promoting the Soviet condition.
