La publicaci\u00f3n de arquitectura que veis arriba capturada en un pantallazo la produc\u00edamos hace m\u00e1s de diez a\u00f1os.
\nNo se si fue una intuici\u00f3n, una iluminaci\u00f3n o una pedr\u00e1<\/em>, pero lo cierto es que ya<\/em><\/strong> est\u00e1bamos hablando de una serie de conceptos que ahora<\/em> parece que a algunos preocupan y a otros se indigestan. A los primeros por falta de comprensi\u00f3n y aprehensi\u00f3n y a los segundos\u2026 a esos por lo mismo.<\/p>\n

Para los de franc\u00e9s<\/em> la frase est\u00e1 escrita en un ingl\u00e9s entonces torpe<\/em>, pero quer\u00eda decir algo as\u00ed como:<\/p>\n

\u00abYa podemos publicar el contenido que queramos, al instante\u00bb<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Desde aqu\u00ed, una opini\u00f3n, creo que confundida, de Fredy Massad<\/a> a un art\u00edculo de David Basulto<\/a>; una rese\u00f1a de Pilar Pinchart<\/a>, que se convierte en una eleg\u00eda a las publicaciones en papel enarbolando la bandera del todo gratis no<\/em>; y cierta irresponsabilidad de una serie de compa\u00f1eros, que dando argumentos a detractores de lo digital comparten<\/em> a diestro y siniestro en la red; han desencadenado que retome este tema y me decida a tratar de explicar una situaci\u00f3n que, yo al menos, veo clara.<\/p>\n

Como sigue teniendo mucho que ver, voy a recuperar la cita que mencion\u00e9 en el pasado art\u00edculo sobre archBib<\/a>. Es tan importante que lleva tiempo estructurando mi forma de percibir y entender la Red<\/em> y hoy nos va a volver a ayudar. Es la frase de Dee Hock que pod\u00e9is encontrar, en el art\u00edculo de Linda Stone<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Las fechas en cursiva detr\u00e1s de cada etapa<\/em> son de Stone y no me resultar\u00edan especialmente relevantes si no fuera porque, sin tener en cuenta la mayor o menor autoridad acad\u00e9mica que pueda tener Stone, nos hace pensar si no estamos ya en el descuento<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Estimados Fredy, Pilar et al.<\/em>. Creo firmemente que el filtrado de informaci\u00f3n para su publicaci\u00f3n no es cr\u00edtica<\/em><\/strong>. Por mucho que este proceso de selecci\u00f3n tenga criterio, o falta de \u00e9l.<\/p>\n

Para mi no es cr\u00edtica. La cr\u00edtica es conocimiento<\/strong>. Es informaci\u00f3n digerida y asimilada por otros hasta convertirla en conocimiento, y que nos permite, nos pone en disposici\u00f3n de, tomar decisiones y determinar acciones<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Ahora mismo, tal y como la informaci\u00f3n en lo digital<\/em> se est\u00e1 tratando, no es capaz de producir eso.<\/p>\n

No implica mensaje. No implica per se<\/em> una potencia de relaci\u00f3n. No tal y como est\u00e1n, y me permit\u00eds que aqu\u00ed me excluya, manej\u00e1ndola muchos.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00abLa Red<\/em>, hoy, en arquitectura, no es 2.0. Es mucho menos que 1.0, simplemente porque no est\u00e1 enlazada<\/em>.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Los comunicadores<\/em>, los que llevan a gala el calificativo de bloggers<\/em>, los que comparten por divertimento<\/em>, no han sido capaces de digerir un concepto, tan antiguo que su nombre suena a ciencia ficci\u00f3n ochentera<\/em>, como el de hipertexto<\/em><\/strong>. Un concepto que, pese a llevarlo constantemente en la h<\/em> del http:\/\/\u2026<\/em> no se entiende en sus implicaciones m\u00e1s profundas.<\/p>\n

Hiper<\/em> denota superioridad o exceso. Hipertexto<\/em> denota lo que supera al texto<\/em>. Si se\u00f1ores, lo que supera a la propia informaci\u00f3n, al mero mensaje un\u00edvoco, para adquirir el potencial de despliegue que antes<\/em> solo era concebible para la hermen\u00e9utica a trav\u00e9s de la interpretaci\u00f3n y el di\u00e1logo.<\/p>\n

La web 2.0<\/em><\/strong> no es cuesti\u00f3n de comunicaci\u00f3n interpersonal. La comunicaci\u00f3n, el di\u00e1logo, los comentarios<\/em> no son ya lo importante. Ya exist\u00edan en el 2002 y os puedo asegurar que con mucha m\u00e1s actividad y riqueza. Una riqueza y fuerza en el intercambio de conocimiento que hizo que algunos pudi\u00e9ramos entender qu\u00e9 estaba pasando.<\/p>\n

La 2.0, o simplemente el estado actual de la tecnolog\u00eda, permite procesar esa informaci\u00f3n que a muchos abruma por exceso, y convertirla en conocimiento<\/strong>.Permite enlazarla, calificarla, clasificarla, etiquetarla y hacer que, mediante esos procesos, esas acciones humanas nunca autom\u00e1ticas<\/strong>, y sobre todo, mediante la construcci\u00f3n de las redes apropiadas de enlaces a otros espacios digitales de informaci\u00f3n, podamos construir conocimiento.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00abPodemos trascender la mera informaci\u00f3n para construir conocimiento, pero nos empe\u00f1amos en producir en digital sin aprovechar su potencia, sin entender su idiosincrasia.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Nos empe\u00f1amos en devaluar la trascendencia de nuestras actitudes asimil\u00e1ndolas a divertimentos al compartir<\/em> y no nos damos cuenta de que estamos desperdiciando un enorme recurso, nuestro recurso, el bien material que hace que una parte enorme de nuestra sociedad, la informacional, funcione.<\/p>\n

\u00abEstamos desperdiciando la informaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ser Red<\/em>, que quiz\u00e1s deba escribirse en min\u00fasculas igual que arquitectura, es construir de forma activa la red para preocuparse y ocuparse de su supervivencia. Es entender que lo importante es que se produzca el chispazo<\/em> que conecte ideas e informaci\u00f3n, no que el chispazo se produzca atravesando nuestra web<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Si no hacemos un uso responsable de la informaci\u00f3n. Si no aprendemos a producirla para que sea de calidad y relevante, a manipularla para que respete a sus productores, a compartirla<\/em> para no convertirnos en meros traficantes, a evaluarla de manera cr\u00edtica para que cada vez haya menos ruido y a relacionarla para que se convierta en conocimiento<\/em><\/strong>. Si no tomamos una postura de responsabilidad activa<\/strong>, estaremos simplemente malgastando un recurso valios\u00edsimo.<\/p>\n

Y frente a ese despilfarro, argumentos como los de Pilar<\/a> tendr\u00e1n toda la validez, cuando no debemos, por el bien del desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico, asumirlos.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00abLa red no es el espacio del todo vale y adem\u00e1s es gratis<\/em>. La Red, debe ser nuestra gran biblioteca de Alejandr\u00eda<\/em>.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Debe ser un espacio en el que, por nuestro comportamiento, acallemos los ruidos; en el que, por nuestro trabajo comunicando, compartiendo, enlazando, ofreciendo a los dem\u00e1s de forma ordenada y coherente, hagamos que nuestro conocimiento se ponga al servicio de los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Alg\u00fan compa\u00f1ero me dice que no se lucra<\/em> compartiendo la informaci\u00f3n, y que por eso no hace nada malo<\/em>. Argumentos ilusorios dentro de esta coyuntura. La informaci\u00f3n ya no tiene valor. Lo digital<\/em> se lo ha quitado tendi\u00e9ndolo a cero\u2026 El valor est\u00e1 en la presencia, en el trabajo, en el servicio. Pensar que la falta de acci\u00f3n no tiene consecuencias es falaz y pernicioso.<\/p>\n

Las fotos que nuestros compa\u00f1eros fot\u00f3grafos producen, por ejemplo, ya no tienen valor en si mismas. Cuando cualquiera las puede descargar, copiar, transformar, reproducir, multiplicar\u2026 los objetos f\u00edsicos que son ese conjunto de megas<\/em> no tienen valor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00abEl valor, en esta situaci\u00f3n digital, estriba en que un determinado fot\u00f3grafo produzca esas im\u00e1genes. Ese es el hecho diferencial que debemos recuperar.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La de vivienda social, alojamientos residenciales y arquitectura docente, que dirige Lourdes, y la dise\u00f1o computacional y arquitectura para la sociedad de la informaci\u00f3n, que dirige Miguel. El trabajo que hemos venido desarrollando en arquitextonica.net desde el 2003 nos ha llevado tambi\u00e9n a trabajar por y para la difusi\u00f3n de la arquitectura y el dise\u00f1o en internet, haciendo un \u00e9nfasis especial en promocionar el talento de nuestro entorno.
