En cierto modo, la necesidad de empezar de cero dio la oportunidad de replantear alguna de las iniciativas higienistas, interpretadas por los arquitectos del movimiento moderno. El cambio es importante, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del lenguaje funcional con el que se planteaban las dotaciones educativas. Una de las principales cr\u00edticas al movimiento moderno se centra, ya desde las primeras convocatorias de los CIAM<sup><sup>1<\/sup><\/sup> de posguerra, en la importancia del contexto, tanto social, como urbano o hist\u00f3rico, que la arquitectura hab\u00eda dejado de lado. En este sentido, las ciencias sociales \u2013 psicolog\u00eda urbana, sociolog\u00eda \u2013 toman un papel principal en la concepci\u00f3n de la arquitectura, e introducen conceptos novedosos en el debate. T\u00e9rminos como el \u201cespacio colectivo\u201d van a centralizar las propuestas de toda una nueva generaci\u00f3n de arquitectos que ver\u00e1n en la tipolog\u00eda educativa un perfecto campo de experimentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se rescatan teor\u00edas educativas, como las debidas a Mar\u00eda Montessori<sup><sup>2<\/sup><\/sup>, que privilegian la experimentaci\u00f3n del alumno por encima del proceso de adquisici\u00f3n de conocimientos. Se romper\u00e1 as\u00ed, definitivamente, el concepto de aula tradicional para dejar paso a toda una serie de espacios polivalentes, de composici\u00f3n flexible, donde el mobiliario pasa a ser un elemento m\u00f3vil que permite distintas configuraciones seg\u00fan las necesidades particulares del momento. Y de forma fundamental, se caracterizan los espacios de comunicaci\u00f3n entre las aulas, que dejan de ser simples pasillos de acceso a las aulas para convertirse en lugares de relaci\u00f3n, de interacci\u00f3n, personalizables, flexibles y funcionales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La relaci\u00f3n entre el aula y el pasillo se plantea af\u00edn a la existente entre la casa y la calle. Y la vida en comunidad existente en esta se traslada al \u00e1mbito escolar. Este \u201cespacio colectivo\u201d sirve adem\u00e1s de lugar de transici\u00f3n entre lo p\u00fablico y lo privado, admite la relaci\u00f3n entre los alumnos, y entre estos y los profesores, e incluso permite la interacci\u00f3n de los padres, que pasan a formar parte de la \u201ccomunidad escolar\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39151\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39151\" style=\"width: 750px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Escuela-Montessori.-Delft.-Arq.-Herman-Hertzberger-Planta-e-imagen-del-interior.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-39151\" title=\"Escuela Montessori. La propia concepci\u00f3n de la planta de la Escuela de Delft nos da una idea de c\u00f3mo su utilizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 muy alejada del concepto tradicional de ense\u00f1anza.
