Su objetivo es provocar emoci\u00f3n y no tanto informar con sus fotos, aunque el conocimiento por las culturas y pueblos que muestra tiene mucho que ver enel impacto visual que causa. Recorri\u00f3 lo que \u00e9l llama las \u00c1fricas en diferentes viajes entre 1999 y el 2008. Empez\u00f3 en Guinea Bissau y termin\u00f3 en Somalia, pero por el medio fue \u00aba la desterrada \u00c1frica del vud\u00fa de Hait\u00ed\u00bb. Expuso el mundo de la espiritualidad haitiana en la Fundaci\u00f3n Granell hace unos a\u00f1os, en el Museo del Pueblo present\u00f3 el de las escuelas cor\u00e1nicas, las madrasas africanas, y esta vez ac\u00e9rcanos una visi\u00f3n \u00edntima sobre los cristianos m\u00e1s antiguos del mundo, porque su origen es de la \u00e9poca de Jesucristo, con la reina de S\u00e1bana como responsable por la relaci\u00f3n que mantuvo con el rey Salom\u00f3, y su fe nunca fue imposta por los colonizadores europeos. La situaci\u00f3n de aislamiento cultural y geogr\u00e1fico mantuvo este mundo cristiano dentro de su pureza y en el desconocimiento para el resto del mundo. Son cristianos ortodoxos coptos, y la suya espiritualidade se vertebra en la cruz (las grandes en los altares y las peque\u00f1as sobre el pecho de las personas), en la Biblia y en las pinturas. Pero las t\u00fanicas blancas que cobren la cabeza entero de los fieles representan la pureza y act\u00faan, en palabras de Gab\u00fa, \u00abcomo protecci\u00f3n y escudo frente al exterior\u00bb.
