(La otra catedr\u00e1tica de la asignatura -creo que vino algo despu\u00e9s, pero no lo recuerdo bien- era <strong>Helena Iglesias<\/strong>, que la enfocaba de una manera totalmente diferente y exig\u00eda habilidades y aptitudes pr\u00e1cticamente opuestas a las que ped\u00eda la primera c\u00e1tedra: Esto es una se\u00f1al m\u00e1s de la esquizofrenia propia de esta maldita carrera que tanto amamos, pero esto ser\u00e1 tema de otra entrada. Hoy no toca).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Javier Segu\u00ed y sus profesores seguramente habr\u00edan sido excelentes en los \u00faltimos cursos de carrera o en el doctorado (alguno de ellos imparte ahora cursos de doctorado y, por lo que me cuentan, es muy bueno), pero en primer curso eran sencillamente terror\u00edficos. Yo ten\u00eda diecisiete a\u00f1os. No era m\u00e1s tonto de lo normal, pero tampoco m\u00e1s espabilado. No entend\u00eda nada. Hab\u00eda cre\u00eddo infundadamente durante el bachillerato que sab\u00eda dibujar (al menos me gustaba mucho y me aplicaba bastante), pero aqu\u00ed estaba completamente perdido. En el colegio dibujaba laminitas A4 sobre el pupitre, y aqu\u00ed hab\u00eda que dibujar en A1, en caballete. En el colegio dibujaba con la mano y la mu\u00f1eca, y aqu\u00ed hab\u00eda que dibujar con el brazo entero, e incluso con la espalda, con las caderas, con todo. El gesto era importante para afrontar dibujos en un formato para m\u00ed tan grande y desbordante, en el que no hab\u00eda trabajado nunca y en el que me perd\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero los profesores, en vez de ayudar con consejos t\u00e9cnicos o con el ejemplo (ay, el ejemplo), nos soltaban discursos te\u00f3ricos y filos\u00f3ficos sobre la forma, la expresi\u00f3n, la misi\u00f3n de la representaci\u00f3n, la evocaci\u00f3n, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nos recomendaron leer <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lazonamuerta.com\/2012\/01\/kandinsky-punto-y-linea-sobre-el-plano.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Punto y l\u00ednea sobre el plano<\/a><\/em>, de un tal <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vasili_Kandinski\">Kandinski<\/a><\/strong>, a quien no hab\u00eda o\u00eddo nombrar en mi vida. Empec\u00e9 a leerlo y no entend\u00ed nada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Me sent\u00eda muy angustiado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El curso empezaba con temas de expresi\u00f3n libre, manchas abstractas, masas de color, etc. Todo ello, como digo, cargado de profundo contenido ideol\u00f3gico-te\u00f3rico absolutamente indigerible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cada d\u00eda era un susto nuevo. Una vez trajeron unas cuantas gallinas en jaulas que repartieron por el suelo del aula.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abrieron las jaulas y soltaron las gallinas. \u00a1Hala! \u00a1A dibujar!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recuerdo especialmente la cantidad de excrementos que soltaban. Seguramente estaban estresadas. No lo s\u00e9. (Yo s\u00ed que estaba estresado y excrementicio).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El caso es que, como pude, intent\u00e9 dibujarlas. Captad su esp\u00edritu.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a1Mierda de gallina! \u00bfEra eso? \u00bfEra ese su esp\u00edritu?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quer\u00edan decirnos (creo; a\u00fan no estoy seguro) que no dibuj\u00e1ramos las gallinas acad\u00e9mica y melifluamente, sino que intent\u00e1ramos captar su estructura, su movimiento, algo que nos sugirieran&#8230; Yo qu\u00e9 s\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quer\u00edan que ante el est\u00edmulo visual provocado por una gallina plasm\u00e1ramos unas manchas que <em>fueran<\/em> la gallina. Ah, claro, muy sencillo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se trataba, supongo o intuyo, de dibujar las gallinas con fuerza y con expresi\u00f3n. Ah, y fant\u00e1sticamente bien. Si dibujabas de maravilla estabas aprobado. (El truquismo consist\u00eda en no <em>terminar<\/em> los dibujos, sino dejarlos como desenfocados, movidos. Importaba la <em>impronta<\/em> de la gallina sobre el papel, no un dibujo relamido. Vamos, eso creo).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nosotros, como no entend\u00edamos nada, traz\u00e1bamos l\u00edneas horizontales sobre el papel, hac\u00edamos curvas muy gestuales (preferentemente con una esp\u00e1tula embadurnada en t\u00e9mpera), e intent\u00e1bamos construir un discurso incoherente y vac\u00edo sobre algo de lo que no ten\u00edamos la m\u00e1s m\u00ednima noci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los profesores eran tan incomprensibles en sus elogios como en sus denuestos. A veces parec\u00eda (s\u00f3lo parec\u00eda) que estaban ensalzando los dibujos de un compa\u00f1ero, y, como no ve\u00edamos en ellos nada especial ni ning\u00fan motivo claro de aplauso, ni ten\u00edamos referencia alguna, ni criterio, ni nada, nos qued\u00e1bamos con las hojas del r\u00e1bano: \u00abMira, mira: Dibuja en papel gris, y no en papel blanco como nosotros\u00bb. \u00abUtiliza carboncillo y barra <em>cont\u00e9<\/em>\u00ab. \u00abHace trazos muy largos\u00bb. Etc. Intent\u00e1bamos hacer eso mismo, pero nos pon\u00edan a caldo. Nada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otro d\u00eda vino un grupo rockero y toc\u00f3 en clase. Hab\u00eda que pintar la m\u00fasica. Recuerdo que hice un dibujo un poco psicod\u00e9lico que mostraba como dos cataratas de trazos de colores, y les gust\u00f3 a los profesores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otra semana toc\u00f3 pintar el miedo. No nos centr\u00e1bamos y los profesores nos animaban a sentir miedo y plasmarlo. Yo miedo s\u00ed que sent\u00eda, naturalmente, pero no sab\u00eda c\u00f3mo conducirlo hacia el papel. Por aferrarme a algo ya experimentado, volv\u00ed a pintar una cosa muy parecida a las dos cataratas de colores que les hab\u00edan gustado, pero ahora fueron consideradas una mierda. \u00a1Vaya por Dios!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fueron meses muy malos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pasado este primer trimestre de locura y angustia toc\u00f3 dibujar \u00abde verdad\u00bb. Empezamos a hacer \u00abambientes\u00bb; es decir: el interior de la propia aula, con nosotros mismos dibujando en ella. Ah, amigos, ah\u00ed se te iba la perspectiva por menos de nada, y quienes dibujaban de verdad se escapaban claramente del pelot\u00f3n. Ah\u00ed empez\u00f3 a quedar claro qui\u00e9n sab\u00eda y qui\u00e9n no.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Luego toc\u00f3 hacer estatua, y despu\u00e9s, por fin, desnudo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recuerdo perfectamente a un compa\u00f1ero pelirrojo que dibujaba como los \u00e1ngeles. Le vi hacer con pasteles los abdominales de un Ares que era como para morir de lo bien que estaba. Ese mismo pelirrojo dibuj\u00f3 semanas despu\u00e9s a uno de los modelos, que era un poco gordito y morcill\u00f3n, y parec\u00eda que su dibujo pesaba y todo. Los profesores le elogiaban. Ahora s\u00ed que entend\u00edamos los elogios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As\u00ed que era eso. As\u00ed que hab\u00eda que dibujar de puta madre. Acab\u00e1ramos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pintar el esp\u00edritu de las gallinas, pintar una m\u00fasica rock, pintar el miedo, el hambre, el sue\u00f1o&#8230; chorradas. Todo eso era un calentamiento de dedos para acabar pintando unas estatuas de esc\u00e1ndalo y unas chicas de infarto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Suspend\u00ed, naturalmente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el verano y en el curso siguiente me matricul\u00e9 en una academia en la que me ense\u00f1aron a dibujar. Horas y horas de hacer mano. Eso era todo. Aprender a dibujar como Dios, y nada m\u00e1s. (Jejeje: Nada m\u00e1s).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ese era el verdadero esp\u00edritu de las gallinas. Cada vez que veo a alguien dibujar o pintar fant\u00e1sticamente bien me lo digo a m\u00ed mismo:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00abEste cabrito ha captado el esp\u00edritu de las gallinas\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Hern\u00e1ndez Correa \u00b7 Doctor Arquitecto<br \/>\nToledo \u00b7 octubre 2013<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dedicado a mis \u00abamigos virtuales\u00bb de twitter Laureano Albaladejo (@LaureanoArqui), Cristina Barr\u00f3n (@CristinArquitec) y Stepien y Barn\u00f3 (@stepienybarno), que me pidieron que explicara con m\u00e1s detalle lo del esp\u00edritu de las gallinas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PD.- Muchos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, ya arquitecto, e incluso ya doctor -reci\u00e9n doctorado- tuve una experiencia m\u00edstica que volvi\u00f3 a unir a mis maestros, amigos y compa\u00f1eros de la escuela de arquitectura con el verdadero esp\u00edritu de las gallinas. De modo que podr\u00edamos decir que mi paso por la escuela de arquitectura de Madrid empez\u00f3 y termin\u00f3 con esp\u00edritus gallin\u00e1ceos. Pero el episodio de mi despedida gallin\u00e1cea de la escuela s\u00ed que me lo tengo que preparar con calma (y buscar documentaci\u00f3n) para intentar contarlo. Hoxe non toca).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Javier Segu\u00ed e os seus profesores seguramente ter\u00edan sido excelentes nos \u00faltimos cursos de carreira ou no doutorado (alg\u00fan deles imparte agora cursos de doutorado e, polo que me contan, \u00e9 moi bo), pero en primeiro curso eran sinxelamente terror\u00edficos. Eu ti\u00f1a dezasete anos. Non era m\u00e1is parvo do normal, pero tampouco m\u00e1is espelido. Non entend\u00eda nada. Crera infundadamente durante o bacharelato que sab\u00eda debuxar (polo menos gust\u00e1bame moito e aplic\u00e1bame bastante), pero aqu\u00ed estaba completamente perdido. No colexio debuxaba laminitas A4 sobre o pupitre, e aqu\u00ed hab\u00eda que debuxar en A1, en cabalete. No colexio debuxaba coa man e o boneco, e aqu\u00ed hab\u00eda que debuxar co brazo enteiro, e mesmo coas costas, coas cadeiras, con todo. O xesto era importante para afrontar debuxos nun formato para min tan grande e desbordante, no que non traballara nunca e no que me perd\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero os profesores, en vez de axudar con consellos t\u00e9cnicos ou co exemplo (ai, o exemplo), solt\u00e1bannos discursos te\u00f3ricos e filos\u00f3ficos sobre a forma, a expresi\u00f3n, a misi\u00f3n da representaci\u00f3n, a evocaci\u00f3n, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recomend\u00e1ronnos ler \u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lazonamuerta.com\/2012\/01\/kandinsky-punto-y-linea-sobre-el-plano.html\">Punto e l\u00ednea sobre o plano<\/a><\/em>, dun tal <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vasili_Kandinski\">Kandinski<\/a><\/strong>, a quen non o\u00edra nomear na mi\u00f1a vida. Ah, claro, moi sinxelo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trat\u00e1base, supo\u00f1o ou int\u00fao, de debuxar as gali\u00f1as con forza e con expresi\u00f3n. Ah, e fantasticamente ben. Se debuxabas de marabilla estabas aprobado. (O truquismo consist\u00eda en non <em>rematar<\/em> os debuxos, sen\u00f3n deixalos como desenfocados, movidos. Importaba a <em>pegada<\/em> da gali\u00f1a sobre o papel, non un debuxo relambido. Imos, iso creo).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">N\u00f3s, como non entendiamos nada, trazabamos li\u00f1as horizontais sobre o papel, faciamos curvas moi xestuais (preferentemente cunha esp\u00e1tula enzoufada en t\u00e9mpera), e intentabamos constru\u00edr un discurso incoherente e baleiro sobre algo do que non ti\u00f1amos a m\u00e1is m\u00ednima noci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Os profesores eran tan incomprensibles nos seus eloxios como nos seus denuestos. \u00c1s veces parec\u00eda (s\u00f3 parec\u00eda) que estaban a enxalzar os debuxos dun compa\u00f1eiro, e, como non viamos neles nada especial nin ning\u00fan motivo claro de aplauso, nin ti\u00f1amos referencia ningunha, nin criterio, nin nada, quedabamos coas follas do ravo: \u00abMira, mira: Debuxa en papel gris, e non en papel branco como n\u00f3s\u00bb. \u00abUtiliza carb\u00f3n e barra <em>cont\u00e9<\/em>\u00ab. \u00abFai trazos moi longos\u00bb. Etc. Intent\u00e1bamos facer iso mesmo, pero po\u00f1\u00edannos a caldo. Nada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outro d\u00eda veu un grupo roqueiro e tocou en clase. Hab\u00eda que pintar a m\u00fasica. Recordo que fixen un debuxo un pouco psicod\u00e9lico que mostraba como d\u00faas cataratas de trazos de cores, e lles gustou aos profesores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outra semana tocou pintar o medo. Non nos centrabamos e os profesores anim\u00e1bannos a sentir medo e plasmalo. Eu medo si que sent\u00eda, naturalmente, pero non sab\u00eda como conducilo cara ao papel. Por aferrarme a algo xa experimentado, volv\u00edn pintar unha cousa moi parecida \u00e1s d\u00faas cataratas de cores que lles gustaran, pero agora foron consideradas unha merda. \u00a1Vaia por Deus!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foron meses moi malos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pasado este primeiro trimestre de loucura e angustia tocou debuxar \u00abde verdade\u00bb. Empezamos a facer \u00abambientes\u00bb; \u00e9 dicir: o interior da propia aula, connosco mesmos debuxando nela. Ah, amigos, a\u00ed \u00edasete a perspectiva por menos de nada, e os que debuxaban de verdade escap\u00e1banse claramente do pelot\u00f3n.
