La exposici\u00f3n est\u00e1 comisariada por Sabrina van der Ley, directora de arte contempor\u00e1neo del Museo Nacional de Arte, Arquitectura y Dise\u00f1o de Oslo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las paredes y suelos del piano nobile del Palazzo Falier, con una extensi\u00f3n total de 700 m2, han sido intervenidas por Cabrita Reis con tubos y vigas de aluminio, luces fluorescentes y cables, para redefinir el espacio. En a remote whisper el artista despliega una estructura rotunda, realizada a base de piezas industriales y restos de construcci\u00f3n, junto con materiales provenientes de su estudio. Fragmentos de trabajos anteriores, material documental, fotograf\u00edas, dibujos y pinturas, adem\u00e1s de desechos encontrados en la ciudad de Venecia han servido para componer la instalaci\u00f3n. Los visitantes de a remote whisper encontrar\u00e1n un laberinto intrincado con diferentes trayectorias por las que recorrer el palacio veneciano y, a trav\u00e9s de las cuales, tener distintas maneras de percibir la obra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde principios de los a\u00f1os noventa, Cabrita Reis ha explorado temas relacionados con las viviendas, la construcci\u00f3n y el territorio. Algunas de sus obras se componen de elementos cotidianos como mesas, puertas, ventanas o materiales de construcci\u00f3n, mientras que en otras instalaciones aborda el espacio expositivo con estructuras arquitect\u00f3nicas s\u00f3lidas de gran tama\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tal y como explica la comisaria de la exposici\u00f3n, <em>\u201cuna cantidad importante de sus obras han sido o est\u00e1n siendo creadas in situ\u201d<\/em>. Sus piezas sugieren <em>\u201cuna concepci\u00f3n aleatoria del riesgo o del rigor intelectual y de la aleatoriedad visual o literaria\u201d<\/em> y de esta manera <em>\u201ccada obra nos propone un \u2018inventario\u2019 en desarrollo del mundo y a la vez un modelo para su percepci\u00f3n\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es la primera vez que Cabrita Reis vuelve a Venecia, desde que en 2003 realizara para el pabell\u00f3n de Portugal la obra Longer journeys, cuya resonancia puede apreciarse en <em>a remote whisper<\/em>. Tambi\u00e9n fue el encargado de realizar el pabell\u00f3n portugu\u00e9s en la Bienal de 1995 junto con Rui Chafes y Jos\u00e9 Pedro Croft. En esta ocasi\u00f3n el artista regresa a la bienal veneciana de la mano de las cinco galer\u00edas internacionales que representan su obra: Ivorypress (Espa\u00f1a), Galerie Nelson-Freeman (Francia), Magazzino (Italia), Mai 36 (Suiza) y Peter Freeman Inc. (EE. La publicaci\u00f3n incluye tambi\u00e9n un ap\u00e9ndice dedicado al proyecto realizado para esta edici\u00f3n de la Bienal de Venecia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pedro Cabrita Reis (Lisboa, 1956) vive y trabaja en Portugal. Su obra goza de un amplio reconocimiento internacional y resulta esencial para entender el nuevo paradigma escult\u00f3rico que se inici\u00f3 aproximadamente a mediados de los a\u00f1os ochenta. Su trabajo est\u00e1 marcado por un discurso filos\u00f3fico y po\u00e9tico altamente individual y abarca una gran variedad de soportes: pintura, escultura, fotograf\u00eda e instalaciones espec\u00edficas creadas con objetos encontrados y artesanales. Su obra aborda cuestiones como el espacio, la arquitectura y la memoria a trav\u00e9s de met\u00e1foras de un sugerente poder de asociaci\u00f3n que trascienden lo meramente visual. The exhibition is curated by Sabrina go der Law, director of contemporary art of the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design of Oslo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The walls and floors of the piano nobile of the Palazzo Falier, with a total extension of 700 m2, have been taken part by Cabrita Reis with tubes and beams of aluminium, fluorescent lights and wires, to redefine the space. The visitors of to remote whisper will find an intricate labyrinth with different paths by which visit the Venetian palace and, through which, have distinct ways to perceive the work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From principles of the years ninety, Cabrita Reis has explored subjects related with the houses, the construction and the territory. Some of his works compose\u00a0 of daily elements like tables, doors, windows or materials of construction, whereas in other installations tackles the space expositivo with solid architectural structures of big size.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As it explains the commissioner of the exhibition, <em>\u201can important quantity of his works have been or are being created in situ\u201d<\/em>. His pieces suggest <em>\u201ca random conception of the risk or of the intellectual rigour and of the aleatoriedad visual or literary\u201d<\/em> and of this way <em>\u201ceach work proposes us a \u2018inventory&#8217; developing of the world and at the same time a model for his perception\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is the first time that Cabrita Reis goes back to Venecia, since in 2003 realised for the pavilion of Portugal the work Longer journeys, whose resonance can appreciate in to remote whisper. Also it was the attendant to realise the Portuguese pavilion in the Biennial of 1995 together with Rui Chafes and Jos\u00e9 Pedro Croft. In this occasion the artist returns to the biennial Venetian of the hand of the five international galleries that represent his work: Ivorypress (Spain), Galerie Nelson-Freeman (France), Magazzino (Italy), Mai 36 (Switzerland) and Peter Freeman Inc. (EE.
