En esta muestra, que forma parte del Festival Off PHotoEspa\u00f1a, el reconocido fot\u00f3grafo reflexiona sobre la utop\u00eda, la supervivencia y la destrucci\u00f3n a partir de veinte proyectos que el arquitecto Le Corbusier no lleg\u00f3 a realizar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cEsta exposici\u00f3n pretende mostrar una labor de restituci\u00f3n de vestigios omitidos\u201d<\/em>, explica Gonz\u00e1lez. Es, por tanto, una labor de archivo \u201cbasada en procesar el objeto, para que el olvido no lo corrompa y se interprete en su escala y en su dimensi\u00f3n\u201d. La no ejecuci\u00f3n se convierte, aqu\u00ed, <em>\u201cen una destrucci\u00f3n silenciosa y silenciada, en una explosi\u00f3n que, en este caso, implosiona\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con esta serie, que podr\u00e1 verse en Ivorypress Space hasta el 13 de julio, el artista aborda tambi\u00e9n el concepto del espacio, <em>\u201cun lugar-ninguna parte que nos remite al propio estado de la utop\u00eda que, en s\u00ed misma, se significa como ning\u00fan lugar, ninguna parte\u201d<\/em>, se\u00f1ala Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La muestra tambi\u00e9n incluye varias obras de la serie Dauphin Island, realizada recientemente por el artista e inspirada en la isla del mismo nombre, perteneciente al estado de Alabama (EE.UU.). <em>\u201cMi inter\u00e9s por Dauphin Island procede del estudio de arquitecturas acu\u00e1ticas y palaf\u00edticas que tienen su origen en el Neol\u00edtico\u201d<\/em>, explica Gonz\u00e1lez. Se trata de una isla en el Golfo de M\u00e9xico que ha sufrido numerosas cat\u00e1strofes naturales y para la que el artista ha imaginado<em> \u201cproyectos propositivos que configuran nuevas estructuras habitativas en los vac\u00edos de percepci\u00f3n de aquellos espacios previamente devastados\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dionisio Gonz\u00e1lez (Gij\u00f3n, 1965) es profesor titular en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Sevilla. A lo largo de su trayectoria art\u00edstica ha recibido diversos reconocimientos como el Premio Pilar Juncosa y Sotheby\u2019s de la Fundaci\u00f3 Pilar i Joan Mir\u00f3 o el Premio Europeo de Fotograf\u00eda Arendt Award en 2013. Ha expuesto en diversas instituciones y museos como el Museum of Contemporary Photography de Chicago, el Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda de Madrid (MNCARS), el Museu de Arte de S\u00e3o Paulo o el Museum of Contemporary Art de Toronto. Tr\u00e1tase dunha illa no Golfo de M\u00e9xico que sufriu numerosas cat\u00e1strofes naturais e para a que o artista imaxinou <em>\u201cproxectos propositivos que configuran novas estruturas habitativas nos baleiros de percepci\u00f3n daqueles espazos previamente devastados\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dionisio Gonz\u00e1lez (Xix\u00f3n, 1965) \u00e9 profesor titular na Facultade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Sevilla. Ao longo da s\u00faa traxectoria art\u00edstica recibiu diversos reco\u00f1ecementos como o Premio Alicerce Juncosa e Sotheby\u2019s da Fundaci\u00f3 Alicerce i Joan Mirou ou o Premio Europeo de Fotograf\u00eda Arendt Award en 2013. expuxo en diversas instituci\u00f3ns e museos como o Museum of Contemporary Photography de Chicago, o Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda de Madrid (MNCARS), o Museu de Arte de S\u00e3ou Paulo ou o Museum of Contemporary Art de Toronto.
