El paisaje urbano est\u00e1 constituido por una gran acumulaci\u00f3n de viviendas unifamiliares de baja densidad, que generan una estructura urbana que podr\u00edamos calificar de tradicional. En medio de este panorama urbano destacan de manera especial una colecci\u00f3n de prismas abstractos que parecen establecer sus propias reglas dentro de una parcela alargada que da a dos calles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El contraste con los edificios colindantes es radical, los ornamentos, remates o texturas de las arquitecturas tradicionales del barrio han desaparecido aqu\u00ed por completo.\u00a0 En un primer vistazo podr\u00eda pensarse que los diez prismas blancos, de alturas y dimensiones diversas han sido colocados de forma azarosa, guiados por unas reglas aleatorias, casi como si se tratase m\u00e1s de\u00a0 conjunto escult\u00f3rico o un monumento que de una vivienda. Sin embargo el estudio de las relaciones entre los huecos y puertas de los diferentes vol\u00famenes, aportan pistas sobre las leyes que relacionan las diferentes piezas, ya que unen algunas o separan otras, generando subconjuntos dentro del grupo inicial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y es que la casa Moriyama es en realidad un complejo de viviendas que comprende una concentraci\u00f3n de\u00a0 varias viviendas m\u00ednimas repartidas en el aleatorio paisaje de los diez prismas blancos. Algunas de esas viviendas son de una sola planta, algunas de dos pisos, otras tienen tres plantas, y algunas tienen un s\u00f3tano. Alg\u00fan d\u00eda todas estas piezas, todas estas estancias o si se prefiere todos estos locales ser\u00e1n usados \u00fanicamente por la familia Moriyama, pero en la actualidad muchas de esas unidades se encuentran alquiladas a diversos usuarios. Por lo tanto la propia casa es una peque\u00f1a comunidad, un peque\u00f1o barrio dentro del barrio en el que se ubica. Cada una de estas mini casas se expande en el jard\u00edn exterior, un espacio com\u00fan pero minuciosamente pautado para que cada porci\u00f3n del terreno sirva a un \u00fanico habitante concreto. Toda la parcela se convierte as\u00ed en un jard\u00edn comunitario, en un espacio exterior que en cierto modo es esencial para el funcionamiento de esa peque\u00f1a colectividad que conforma la casa Moriyama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero sin lugar a dudas lo que m\u00e1s llama la atenci\u00f3n de este espacio es su total continuidad con la calle, ni setos, ni vallas separan el lote de la parcela de las calles colindantes. Lo individual, la vida privada de los residentes no se mezcla \u00fanicamente con los otros residentes de la Moriyama, sino sin interrupci\u00f3n con la ciudad entera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si el espacio interior es el espacio de la vida privada, y la calle representa el espacio de lo p\u00fablico, en esta casa los l\u00edmites entre estos mundos se muestran borrosos, difusos. De alguna manera ese mundo borroso se traslada incluso al modo de nombrar las cosas. La casa Moriyama es una casa, una vivienda unifamiliar, pero funciona como una agrupaci\u00f3n de viviendas unifamiliares, por lo tanto podr\u00eda constituir por s\u00ed sola un peque\u00f1o barrio. Un barrio en el que el peque\u00f1o jard\u00edn, no ser\u00eda un huerto privado, sino m\u00e1s bien un espacio p\u00fablico, es decir una calle o una plaza de la colectividad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es mediante este proceso de multiplicaci\u00f3n de escala en el que una unidad contiene al mismo tiempo la superior, por el que se desdibujan los l\u00edmites entre la casa, el barrio y la propia ciudad. Una idea que remite directamente a la hip\u00f3tesis enunciada hace a\u00f1os por Aldo Van Eyck:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00ab\u00c1rbol es hoja y hoja es \u00e1rbol. Nunha primeira ollada poder\u00eda pensarse que os dez prismas brancos, de alturas e dimensi\u00f3ns diversas foron colocados de forma azarosa, guiados por unhas regras aleatorias, case coma se trat\u00e1sese m\u00e1is de conxunto escult\u00f3rico ou un monumento que dunha vivenda. Con todo o estudo das relaci\u00f3ns entre os ocos e portas dos diferentes volumes, aportan pistas sobre as leis que relacionan as diferentes pezas, xa que unen algunhas ou separan outras, xerando subconjuntos dentro do grupo inicial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E \u00e9 que a casa Moriyama \u00e9 en realidade un complexo de vivendas que comprende unha concentraci\u00f3n de varias vivendas m\u00ednimas repartidas no aleatorio paisaxe dos dez prismas brancos. Algunhas desas vivendas son dunha soa planta, algunhas de dous pisos, outras te\u00f1en tres plantas, e algunhas te\u00f1en un s\u00f3tano. Alg\u00fan d\u00eda todas estas pezas, todas estas estancias ou si pref\u00edrese todos estes locais ser\u00e1n usados \u00fanicamente pola familia Moriyama, pero na actualidade moitas desas unidades at\u00f3panse alugadas a diversos usuarios. Cada unha destas mini casas se expande no xard\u00edn exterior, un espazo com\u00fan pero minuciosamente pautado para que cada porci\u00f3n do terreo sirva a un \u00fanico habitante concreto. Toda a parcela conv\u00e9rtese as\u00ed nun xard\u00edn comunitario, nun espazo exterior que en certo xeito \u00e9 esencial para o funcionamento desa pequena colectividad que conforma a casa Moriyama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero sen d\u00fabida o que m\u00e1is chama a atenci\u00f3n deste espazo \u00e9 a s\u00faa total continuidade coa r\u00faa, nin setos, nin valas separan o lote da parcela das r\u00faas colindantes. O individual, a vida privada dos residentes non se mestura \u00fanicamente cos outros residentes da Moriyama, sen\u00f3n sen interrupci\u00f3n coa cidade enteira.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si o espazo interior \u00e9 o espazo da vida privada, e a r\u00faa representa o espazo do p\u00fablico, nesta casa os l\u00edmites entre estes mundos m\u00f3stranse borrosos, difusos.
