La primera mitad del siglo XX fue un periodo donde los manifiestos proliferaron en un horizonte de cambios hist\u00f3ricos y sociales donde el Movimiento Moderno quiso ser protagonista y motor. Muchas de las vanguardias, desde el futurismo al neoplasticismo de De Stijl utilizaron la prensa o las revistas como veh\u00edculos de difusi\u00f3n de ideas y certidumbres que hoy han desaparecido, instalados en la duda continua postestructuralista y la certeza de que no hay asideros y referencias en las que apoyarse m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la propia duda.
\n\u00bfEs posible, en este contexto, fabricar algunas posiciones aceptables que sirvan de referencia para el futuro? Si, como sostiene Panayotis Tournikiotis en La historiograf\u00eda de la arquitectura moderna, las m\u00e1s importantes de las historias de la arquitectura que han llegado hasta nosotros y a\u00fan hoy conocemos, se han realizado sin la suficiente distancia y, a\u00fan m\u00e1s, adaptando quiz\u00e1 en muchos casos los hechos a la tesis que se quer\u00eda defender en ellas, deformando por tanto as\u00ed el corpus y la posibilidad de conocer las verdaderas intenciones de los protagonistas de nuestro pasado m\u00e1s cercano, \u00bfse puede entonces hablar de Historia con may\u00fasculas (History) o ser\u00eda m\u00e1s adecuado renunciar a ello y observar simplemente la mara\u00f1a de historias (stories) que cada autor ha escrito?<\/p>\n

The first half of the 20th century was a period where the manifests proliferated in a horizon of historical and social changes where the Modern Movement wanted to be protagonist and engine. Many of the forefronts, from the futurism of Of Stijl the press or the magazines used the neoplasticismo as vehicles of diffusion of ideas and certainties that today have eliminated, installed in the constant doubt postestructuralista and the certainty of which there are no handles and references on which to rest beyond the own doubt.
