No hab\u00eda m\u00e1s que ver caminar a Henry Fonda para entender lo que era el cine. Me retir\u00e9 a mi <em>Innisfree<\/em>, de la cual ni siquiera soy nativo. Se mantiene como Pinito del Oro en una l\u00ednea peligrosa entre el encanto y la inmundicia. La actitud tranquila de sus vecinos ante el estado de lo que en su momento fue la ciudad m\u00e1s rica en millas, hace que esta mantenga su esencia intacta, me gusta imaginarme estas calles en Alemania o Austria. Con un cartel de \u201c<em>No se apoye, reci\u00e9n pintado<\/em>\u201d. Esta urbe, que conjuga las mayores concentraciones de arte sacro por metro cuadrado de Europa con los placeres m\u00e1s profanos y carnales habidos y por haber, se ha dejado conquistar por qui\u00e9n mostrase un m\u00ednimo inter\u00e9s por ella; entendieron mucho antes que el resto, que los que se dec\u00edan<em> reyes<\/em>, no acud\u00edan a ellos si no para vaciar sus graneros y saciar sus apetencias. Este lugar, esta parroquia, solo quer\u00eda recibir una muestra de cari\u00f1o, aunque viniese acompa\u00f1ada de conquista y cambio de bandera. Esta peque\u00f1a mancha gris en el mapa triangulado, vio morir al Estado. Y no se la ve preocupada. Est\u00e1 claro que la invariante es ella, da igual donde estemos, porque no cambia, cambiamos el lugar desde el cual nos acomodamos a admirarla; analizarla es una labor tediosa nada conveniente para las tardes de primavera.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30057\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30057\" style=\"width: 750px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Cartograf\u00eda-de-la-Cueva-del-Higuer\u00f3n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30057\" title=\"Cartograf\u00eda de la Cueva del Higuer\u00f3n\" src=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Cartograf\u00eda-de-la-Cueva-del-Higuer\u00f3n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"481\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Cartograf\u00eda-de-la-Cueva-del-Higuer\u00f3n.jpg 620w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Cartograf\u00eda-de-la-Cueva-del-Higuer\u00f3n-300x192.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30057\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Cartograf\u00eda de la Cueva del Higuer\u00f3n<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El primer paso para entender la ciudad lo di desde la gran escala; el tablero de dibujo y el plano desbrozaron las primeras impresiones, me ayudaron a abarcar un\u00a0 territorio enorme sin m\u00e1s ayuda que un botell\u00edn de agua. El transporte p\u00fablico muere a las puertas de este peque\u00f1o <em>territorio comanche<\/em>. Clasifica en grandes zonas; juega a las familias, cada clase social, en su <em>quartiere<\/em>; parece una ciudad pausada, tranquila. Que se rige seg\u00fan unas l\u00edneas maestras que ordenan lo que sucede a su alrededor. El cruce de estas v\u00edas define el marco en el que, poco a poco y de forma coherente, los habitantes en sano consenso con los arquitectos de la zona, ocupar\u00e1n con sus viviendas. Es tan transparente, que incluso podemos ver parte de su pasado. Si afinamos la vista, podemos incluso reconocer la marca del Imperio, la forma de \u00e1guila en la distribuci\u00f3n de entradas a la muralla, la marca del senado en cada basti\u00f3n. Qu\u00e9 decir del cruce de <em>cardo<\/em> y <em>decumano<\/em>, suena obsceno por obvio. Se reconocen con facilidad todos los estratos, se identifican f\u00e1cilmente los barrios, exalta el sentimiento de pertenencia a \u00e9stos. Incluso alg\u00fan atrevido, podr\u00eda reconocer la evoluci\u00f3n del crecimiento y las zonas de expansi\u00f3n. Podr\u00edamos llegar a trazar un plan urban\u00edstico. Enric Miralles<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regresando a nuestra \u00f3ptica, la que se levanta a 1.83 y sufre de cefalea cuando sopla el viento sur, la ciudad cambia. La incidencia del sol se vuelve asfixiante en las grandes avenidas, es mucho m\u00e1s agradable caminar por las estrechas calles de la ciudad antigua. Los grandes <em>quartieres<\/em> de per\u00edmetros ordenados y fachadas nobles que se presentan altivos a los ojos del turista, se encuentran troquelados sin piedad por estrechos y retorcidos <em>vicol\u00ec <\/em>que recuerdan la inseguridad de anta\u00f1o. No tanto la de Coppola y sus galanes con sombrero custodiando puestos de fruta, si no la de Lampedusa, la de quien se encontr\u00f3 el bosque por talar y decidi\u00f3 plagar la ciudad de ratoneras. Viendo la ciudad con los pies cansados y con sed por el <em>sirocco <\/em>asfixiante, podemos trazar un plano totalmente distinto. Escuch\u00e9 a Juan Creus hablar de c\u00f3mo hab\u00eda cartografiado un viaje en coche, como las distancias se acortaban, los acontecimientos se suced\u00edan de forma casi violenta. Me pareci\u00f3 una experiencia atractiva. Un plano que se pliega sobre s\u00ed mismo una y otra vez, que busca la pendiente natural hacia la que dirigirse con el m\u00ednimo esfuerzo. En ese plano, ni <em>mi primo<\/em> el curioso se cuestionar\u00eda por qu\u00e9 el puerto est\u00e1 donde est\u00e1, muy a pesar de los paseantes. Ser\u00eda una suerte de trazas sin leyenda. Un dibujo preciso, muy grande y con olor a <em>stigghiola. <\/em>Y a<em> sambuca. <\/em>Representa la ciudad que se hizo a s\u00ed misma en funci\u00f3n de sus contingencias. La que no sufri\u00f3 la anorexia del siglo XX, la que sigue celebrando el nacimiento de una nueva vida en el vecindario con un pomp\u00f3n celeste. La que concentra toda la tensi\u00f3n de una fachada en la puerta. El barroco, del que crece en los bordes, como el moho. Esa ciudad solo es apreciable a golpe de zapatilla, por mucha herramienta que incorporemos al estudio a distancia, no podremos captarla. Parece que siempre se cierne sobre mi discurso la pesada sombra del tiempo, de la calma. Lo encuentro fundamental no solo cuando practicamos la arquitectura; lectura, cine, cocina. Precisan de unos tiempos naturales que debemos respetar y disfrutar; tratar de acelerar el proceso solo rebajar\u00e1 la calidad del producto a conseguir. Puede resultar tedioso o cansino, pero las dos son necesarias. No podemos desnaturalizar el plano, arrancarle el factor humano como si nada y pretender tener ciudades. No. As\u00ed, solo engendraremos colmenas, almacenes m\u00e1s o menos ordenados. Alternemos ambas distancias, ambas intensidades. Aparecer\u00e1n nuevos lugares sin quererlo; con suerte, puede que afloren <em>nuestras<\/em> l\u00edneas de Nazca. O simplemente nos demos cuenta de que todos esos callejones que se abren paso a cabezazos\u00a0 y de aspecto tan aleatorio, var\u00edan su forma al comp\u00e1s de la necesidad, que es como surgen la mayor\u00eda de los fen\u00f3menos. Que subyace una estructura a veces inapreciable pero que se rige a la herramienta m\u00e1s valiosa del urbanismo, el sentido com\u00fan. Seremos conscientes de las oportunidades perdidas de la ciudad, y de los desastres tremendamente bien aprovechados. Descubriremos la ciudad que quiso y pudo, y dej\u00f3 de querer. La <em>matrioska <\/em>que esconde una ciudad dentro de otra en progresi\u00f3n infinita. La que entre el caos y alborote de una flota automovil\u00edstica digna de una megal\u00f3polis asi\u00e1tica, es capaz de disfrutar de las obras inconclusas de siglos pasados, y tiene la paciencia suficiente para dejar que los \u00e1rboles crezcan. M\u00e1ntense como Pinito do Ouro nunha li\u00f1a perigosa entre o encanto e a inmundicia. A actitude tranquila dos seus veci\u00f1os ante o estado do que no seu momento foi a cidade m\u00e1is rica en millas, fai que esta mante\u00f1a a s\u00faa esencia intacta, g\u00fastame imaxinarme estas r\u00faas en Alemania ou Austria. Cun cartel de <em>\u201cNon se apoie, rec\u00e9n pintado\u201d<\/em>. Esta urbe, que conxuga as maiores concentraci\u00f3ns de arte sacro por metro cadrado de Europa cos praceres m\u00e1is profanos e carnais habidos e por haber, deixouse conquistar por quen mostrase un m\u00ednimo interese por ela; entenderon moito antes que o resto, que os que se dic\u00edan <em>reis<\/em>, non acud\u00edan a eles se non para baleirar os seus celeiros e saciar as s\u00faas apetencias. Este lugar, esta parroquia, s\u00f3 quer\u00eda recibir unha mostra de agarimo, a\u00ednda que vi\u00f1ese acompa\u00f1ada de conquista e cambio de bandeira. Esta pequena mancha gris no mapa triangulado, viu morrer ao Estado. E non se lle ve preocupada.
