Vaya por delante que todo edificio, de cualquier \u00e9poca y lugar, ha sido siempre pensado y dirigido por uno o varios \u201carquitectos\u201d, entendiendo por tales a quienes han previsto, antes de construirlo, si iba a caber en el solar, c\u00f3mo se iban a distribuir sus dependencias, c\u00f3mo se iba a construir y cu\u00e1nto podr\u00eda costar; y durante su construcci\u00f3n han ido comprobando si se adaptaba a las previsiones o si hab\u00eda que cambiar algo.<\/p>\n

Por lo tanto, el t\u00edtulo de este art\u00edculo se contradice desde el principio: Toda arquitectura tiene arquitecto. Tradicionalmente los arquitectos eran el due\u00f1o del edificio y el maestro alba\u00f1il. La arquitectura se realizaba improvisando mucho y, con tan s\u00f3lo una ligera intuici\u00f3n, marcando la planta del edificio en el terreno. Se trazaban los muros de carga (\u201ctrazas\u201d) y de ah\u00ed se tiraba para arriba.<\/p>\n

No caer\u00e9 yo en el vicio t\u00edpico de este mundo post-post-moderno de ensalzar con nostalgia las cosas espont\u00e1neas, incultas y primitivas en detrimento de las alumbradas por la t\u00e9cnica, el c\u00e1lculo, la ciencia y la cultura. Yo cuando tengo problemas de salud voy al m\u00e9dico, no al curandero.<\/p>\n

Por eso mismo, entiendo que nuestra carrera (exigente y apasionante) habr\u00e1 servido para algo, y que los arquitectos titulados lo sabremos hacer mejor que los amateurs.<\/p>\n

Parece que esto es indiscutible en edificios con cierta complejidad t\u00e9cnica, pero tambi\u00e9n parece evidente que los arquitectos actuales hemos perdido la espontaneidad, la ingenuidad y la acci\u00f3n directa de los maestros constructores de otrora.<\/p>\n

Nuestros m\u00e9todos son muy diferentes. Las casas tradicionales de los pueblos son laber\u00ednticas. Su trazado es, en buena medida, fruto de la improvisaci\u00f3n y de la yuxtaposici\u00f3n, y sus habitaciones se adaptan una a una a la topograf\u00eda. Las actuales, las de \u201carquitecto titulado\u201d suelen estar m\u00e1s previstas, mejor resueltas en muchos aspectos, pero tambi\u00e9n son siempre parecidas, y bastante m\u00e1s r\u00edgidas y mon\u00f3tonas.<\/p>\n

En la foto que muestro se ve una deliciosa casa. Seguramente es inc\u00f3moda y fr\u00eda, y tal vez su distribuci\u00f3n sea la consecuencia de haber ido a\u00f1adiendo cuerpos sobre la marcha. Es posible que para pasar a una habitaci\u00f3n haya que atravesar otra, e incluso que alguna sea ciega. Esas cosas han pasado siempre. Pero, a pesar de todo, nos gusta por ese punto rom\u00e1ntico, evocador y un poco disparatado que exhibe, y nos hace ver magia donde s\u00f3lo hay imprevisi\u00f3n y desorden.<\/p>\n

Por el contrario, al fondo a la derecha se ve un edificio de pisos en construcci\u00f3n, con una serie de balcones todos iguales, la planta rectangular y las fachadas chapadas de granito. Ese edificio estar\u00e1 mucho mejor aislado, acondicionado, iluminado, etc, pero no tiene gracia, ni emoci\u00f3n. Ha perdido la ingenuidad de lo incalculado, la sorpresa, la aventura de habitar la cueva primigenia (si se me permite la cursilada).<\/p>\n

Del mismo modo, la ordenaci\u00f3n urban\u00edstica que hacemos los t\u00e9cnicos tiene calles amplias, bandas de aparcamiento, zonas verdes e instalaciones eficientes, pero ya no tiene esas placitas casuales que se forman por el mero ensanchamiento irregular de una calle, ni esos rincones, ni esos espacios urbanos residuales tan agradables, donde surgen la convivencia y la sorpresa.<\/p>\n

Los arquitectos titulados tenemos una gran competencia para hacer muchas cosas, y para hacerlas con l\u00f3gica, c\u00e1lculo (y una normativa exhaustiva e infumable), pero ser\u00eda bueno que de vez en cuando supi\u00e9ramos limpiar un poco nuestras mentes y nuestras telara\u00f1as, renovar nuestra mirada y pensar de otra manera. O pensar menos.<\/p>\n

Go ahead that any building, of any epoch and place, has been always well-considered and directed for one o more \u00abarchitects\u00bb, dealing for fell whom they have foreseen, before constructing it, if it was going to fit in the lot, how his dependences were going to be distributed, how it was going to be constructed and how much might cost; and during his construction they have been verifying if he was adapting to the forecasts or if it was necessary to change something.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the title of this article is contradicted from the beginning: Any architecture has architect. Traditionally the architects were the owner of the building and the main bricklayer. The architecture was realized improvising very much and, with only a light intuition, marking the plant of the building in the area. There were planned the walls of load (\u00abyou\u00bb \u00abplan\u00bb) and of there it was throwing itself for above.<\/p>\n

I will not fall in the typical vice of this world post-post-moderno of ensalzar with nostalgia the spontaneous, uncultivated and primitive things to the detriment of lit by the technology, the calculation, the science and the culture. I when I have problems of health go to the doctor, not to the quack.<\/p>\n

Because of it same, I understand that our career (demanding and exciting) will have served for something, and that the qualified architects we will be able to make better than the amateurs.<\/p>\n

It seems that this is indisputable in buildings with certain technical complexity, but also it seems to be evident that the current architects we have lost the spontaneity, the naivet\u00e9 and the direct action of the construction teachers of once.<\/p>\n

Our methods are very different. The traditional houses of the peoples are labyrinthine. His tracing is, mostly, a fruit of the improvisation and of the juxtaposition, and his rooms adapt one to one to the topography. The current ones, those of \u00bb qualified architect \u00bb are in the habit of being more foreseen, better solved in many aspects, but also they are always similar, and more rigid enough and monotonous.<\/p>\n

In the photo that I show one sees a delicious house. Surely it is inconvinient and cold, and maybe his distribution is the consequence of credit been adding bodies on the march. It is possible that to go on to a room be necessary to cross other one, and even that someone is blind. These things have happened always. But, regardless, we like it for this romantic, evocative and a bit ludicrous point that it exhibits, and make us see magic where only there is improvidence and disorder.<\/p>\n

On the contrary, to the bottom to the right one sees a building of floors in construction, with a series of balconies all the equal ones, the rectangular plant and the rosy-cheeked fronts of granite. This building will be much better isolated, equipped, illuminated, etc, but it has neither grace, nor emotion. It has lost the naivet\u00e9 of the uncalculated, the surprise, the adventure of living the original cave (if the cursilada is allowed me).<\/p>\n

In the same way, the urban development arrangement that we do the technical personnel has wide streets, bands of parking, green spaces and efficient facilities, but already it has neither these chance placitas that are formed either by the mere irregular ensanchamiento of a street, or these corners, nor these urban residual so agreeable spaces, where the conviviality and the surprise arise.<\/p>\n

The qualified architects we have a great competition to do many things, and to do them with logic, calculation (and an exhaustive and ungood for smoking regulation), but it would be good that occasionally we could clean little our minds and our spiderwebs, to renew our look and to think otherwise. Or to think less.<\/p>\n

Polo tanto, o t\u00edtulo deste artigo contradise desde o principio: Toda arquitectura ten arquitecto. Tradicionalmente os arquitectos eran o dono do edificio e o mestre alba\u00f1il. A arquitectura realiz\u00e1base improvisando moito e, con tan s\u00f3 unha lixeira intuici\u00f3n, marcando a planta do edificio no terreo. Traz\u00e1banse os muros de carga (\u201ctrazas\u201d) e de a\u00ed tir\u00e1base para arriba.<\/p>\n

Non caerei eu no vicio t\u00edpico deste mundo post-post-moderno de enxalzar con nostalxia as cousas espont\u00e1neas, incultas e primitivas en detrimento das alumadas pola t\u00e9cnica, o c\u00e1lculo, a ciencia e a cultura. Eu cando te\u00f1o problemas de sa\u00fade vou ao m\u00e9dico, non o curandeiro.<\/p>\n

Por eso mesmo, eniendo que a nosa carreira (exixente e apaisionante) serviu para algo, y que os arquitectos titulados o sabremos facer millor que os amateurs.<\/p>\n

Parece que isto \u00e9 indiscutible en edificios con certa complexidade t\u00e9cnica, pero tam\u00e9n parece evidente que os arquitectos actuais perdemos a espontaneidade, a inxenuidade e a acci\u00f3n directa dos mestres constructores de outrora.<\/p>\n

Os nosos m\u00e9todos son moi diferentes. As casas tradicionais dos pobos son laber\u00ednticas. O seu trazado \u00e9, en boa medida, froito da improvisaci\u00f3n e da iuxtaposici\u00f3n, e as s\u00faas habitaci\u00f3ns ad\u00e1ptanse unha a unha \u00e1 topograf\u00eda. As actuais, as de \u201carquitecto titulado\u201d adoitan estar m\u00e1is previstas, mellor resoltas en moitos aspectos, pero tam\u00e9n son sempre parecidas, e bastante m\u00e1is r\u00edxidas e mon\u00f3tonas.<\/p>\n

Na foto que mostro vese unha deliciosa casa. Seguramente \u00e9 inc\u00f3moda e fr\u00eda, e talvez a s\u00faa distribuci\u00f3n sexa a consecuencia de ir engadindo corpos sobre a marcha. \u00c9 posible que para pasar a unha habitaci\u00f3n haxa que atravesar outra, e ata que algunha sexa cega. Esas cousas pasaron sempre. Pero, malia todo, g\u00fastanos por ese punto rom\u00e1ntico, evocador e un pouco disparatado que exhibe, e fainos ver maxia onde s\u00f3 hai imprevisi\u00f3n e desorde.<\/p>\n

Pola contra, ao fondo \u00e1 dereita vese un edificio de pisos en construci\u00f3n, cunha serie de balc\u00f3ns todos iguais, a planta rectangular e as fachadas chapadas de granito. Ese edificio estar\u00e1 moito mellor illado, acondicionado, iluminado, etc, pero non ten graza, nin emoci\u00f3n. Perdeu a inxenuidade do incalculado, a sorpresa, a aventura de habitar a cueva primigenia (se se me permite a cursilada).<\/p>\n

Do mesmo xeito, a ordenaci\u00f3n urban\u00edstica que facemos os t\u00e9cnicos ten r\u00faas amplas, bandas de aparcamento, zonas verdes e instalaci\u00f3ns eficientes, pero xa non ten esas placi\u00f1as casuais que se forman polo mero ensanche irregular dunha r\u00faa, nin eses recunchos, nin eses espazos urbanos residuales tan agradables, onde xorden a convivencia e a sorpresa.<\/p>\n

Os arquitectos titulados temos unha gran competencia para facer moitas cousas, e para facelas con l\u00f3xica, c\u00e1lculo (e unha normativa exhaustiva e infumable), pero ser\u00eda bo que de cando en vez soub\u00e9semos limpar un pouco as nosas mentes e as nosas telara\u00f1as, renovar a nosa mirada e pensar doutro xeito. Ou pensar menos.<\/p>\n
