El pr\u00f3ximo lunes d\u00eda 1 de Octubre se celebra el \u201cD\u00cdA MUNDIAL DE La ARQUITECTURA\u201d, que la Uni\u00f3n Internacional de Arquitectos (UIA) fija en el a\u00f1o 2012 bajo el lema \u00abEl ARQUITECTO: AGENTE TRANSFORMADOR DE La CIUDAD\u00bb. A su vez el CSAE (Consejo Superior de Arquitectos de Espa\u00f1a), consider\u00f3 oportuno homenajear bajo este lema a aquellos hombres que en el surgir de la arquitectura moderna comprendieron que su trabajo hab\u00eda estado estrechamente ligado a las circusntancias de aquellos a\u00f1os, los procesos industriales y, los de aquella, nuevos problemas funcionais y sociales.<\/p>\n

El edificio de nuestra ciudad, elegido por la Junta directiva de la Delegaci\u00f3n de A Coru\u00f1a del Colexio de Arquitectos de Galicia como s\u00edmbolo para este d\u00eda, es la Lonja de Gran Sol (1960), situada en las en el puerto de A Coru\u00f1a, obra de Eduardo Garc\u00eda de Dios y F\u00e9lix Calder\u00f3n Gaztelu, por su significado como s\u00edmbolo de una \u00e9poca donde el compromiso con las nuevas necesidades sociales, las noticias t\u00e9cnicas constructivas y la conciencia de estar \u201ccreando ciudad\u201d,\u00a0 dieron lugar a obras de arquitectura excepcionales. Adem\u00e1s este edificio se configura como un elemento destacado en la imagen de la ciudad, dominando la fachada hacia el mar en la zona del puerto industrial.<\/p>\n

Recogemos a continuaci\u00f3n unas palabras dedicadas a este edificio con motivo de su inclusi\u00f3n en el registro del DOCOMOMO ib\u00e9rico en 2005,\u00a0 donde se reflleja la actidud comprometida con la construcci\u00f3n de la ciudad que tuvieron sus art\u00edfices: <\/em><\/p>\n

\u201dLos ingenieros de la Lonja de Gran Sol asumieron la idea moderna de considerar los edificios industriales como piezas de valor en el conjunto construido de la ciudad, en su calidad de monumentos modernos, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del estricto valor utilitario. Los hermosos bajorrelieves de los extremos, a\u00f1adidos con posterioridad, subrayan esta intenci\u00f3n\u201c<\/em> (Fernando Agrasar).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

El d\u00eda 1 de octubre a las 13.30 h. se realizar\u00e1 una visita guiada y comentada por D. Fernando Agrasar Quiroga, director de la Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Arquitectura de A Coru\u00f1a, por las instalaciones del edificio, a la que asistir\u00e1n diversas autoridades pol\u00edticas y art\u00edsticas, y que estar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n abierta al p\u00fablico en general. Con este acto se pretende reinvidicar el reconocimiento y difusi\u00f3n de una arquitectura que por cotidiana y marginal en sus usos y ubicaci\u00f3n suele pasar desapercibida, homenage\u00e1ndose asimismo a todos aquellos pioneiros an\u00f3nimos que ante los nuevos desaf\u00edos y necesidades supieron vertebrar respuestas que a\u00fan hoy tienen plena vigencia nos nuestros d\u00edas.<\/p>\n

O vindeiro luns d\u00eda 1 de Outubro cel\u00e9brase o \u201cD\u00cdA MUNDIAL DA ARQUITECTURA\u201d, que a Uni\u00f3n Internacional de Arquitectos (UIA) fixa no ano 2012 baixo o lema \u00abO ARQUITECTO: AXENTE TRANSFORMADOR DA CIDADE\u00bb. \u00c1 s\u00faa vez o CSAE (Consello Superior de Arquitectos de Espa\u00f1a), considerou oportuno homenajear baixo este lema a aqueles homes que no xurdir da arquitectura moderna comprenderon que o seu traballo estivera estrechamente ligado \u00e1s circusntancias daqueles anos, os procesos industriais e, os daquela, novos problemas funcionais e sociais.<\/p>\n

O edificio da nosa cidade, elixido pola Xunta directiva da Delegaci\u00f3n da Coru\u00f1a do Colexio de Arquitectos de Galicia como s\u00edmbolo para este d\u00eda, \u00e9 a Lonja de Gran Sol (1960), situada nas no porto da Coru\u00f1a, obra de Eduardo Garc\u00eda de Deus e F\u00e9lix Calder\u00f3n Gaztelu, polo seu significado como s\u00edmbolo dunha \u00e9poca onde o compromiso coas novas necesidades sociais, as noticias t\u00e9cnicas constructivas e a conciencia de estar \u201ccreando cidade\u201d, deron lugar a obras de arquitectura excepcionais. Ademais este edificio config\u00farase como un elemento destacado na imaxe da cidade, dominando a fachada cara ao mar na zona do porto industrial.<\/p>\n
