El Museo Guggenheim Bilbao<\/strong> acoger\u00e1 desde el pr\u00f3ximo d\u00eda 20 y hasta el 19 de mayo de 2013 Arquitectura habitada<\/em>, una nueva muestra de obras pertenecientes a la colecci\u00f3n propia de la pinacoteca, que reflexiona en torno al concepto de arquitectura <\/strong>y su capacidad para sugerir \u00abun pasado o un presente creado por nosotros y nuestras relaciones con los dem\u00e1s\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan ha explicado el Museo, <\/em><\/p>\n

\u00abArquitectura entendida en los mismos t\u00e9rminos que plante\u00f3 en 1881 William Morris, impulsor del movimiento Arts and Crafts: todo el ambiente f\u00edsico que rodea la vida humana, no podemos escaparnos de la arquitectura mientras formemos parte de la civilizaci\u00f3n, porque la arquitectura representa el conjunto de modificaciones y alteraciones introducidas en la superficie terrestre, para satisfacer las necesidades humanas, exceptuando s\u00f3lo el puro desierto\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Por tanto, ha indicado que \u00abes una arquitectura que abarca no s\u00f3lo los edificios o construcciones habitables, sino las ciudades, sus calles, mobiliario y, en definitiva, todo aquello creado por la mano del hombre\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La exposici\u00f3n incluye seis obras pertenecientes a la colecci\u00f3n propia del Museo de cinco artistas internacionales que reflexionan en torno a la ocupaci\u00f3n del espacio como lugar de narrativas ya existentes o que est\u00e1n a punto de ser creadas por el espectador.<\/p>\n

Con ocasi\u00f3n de esta muestra, se presentan por primera vez en el Museo Guggenheim Bilbao las obras \u00bfC\u00f3mo te vas a comportar? Un gato de cocina habla<\/em> (How are you going to behave? A kitchen cat speaks<\/em>, 2009) del artista brit\u00e1nico Liam Gillick; Sin t\u00edtulo<\/em> (2008), de Doris Salcedo; Hogar<\/em> (Home<\/em>, 1999) de Mona Hatourm; y Formas de vida 304<\/em> (Life Forms 304<\/em>, 2003), de Pello Irazu. Completan la exposici\u00f3n los trabajos de Cristina Iglesias, Sin t\u00edtulo<\/em> (Habitaci\u00f3n de alabastro)<\/em>, de 1993 y Sin t\u00edtulo (Celos\u00eda II)<\/em>, de 1997.<\/p>\n

En la sala 303 se expone la obra \u00bfC\u00f3mo te vas a comportar? Un gato de cocina habla<\/em>\u00a0(How are you going to behave? A kitchen cat speaks<\/em>, 2009) producida originariamente para el pabell\u00f3n alem\u00e1n de la Bienal de Venecia de 2009 por el artista brit\u00e1nico Liam Gillick (Aylesbury, 1964) y donada al Museo Guggenheim Bilbao.<\/p>\n

Esta instalaci\u00f3n consta de una cocina modular realizada en madera de pino, basada en la cocina Frankfurt, dise\u00f1ada en los a\u00f1os veinte por la arquitecta y activista antinazi Margarete Sch\u00fctte-Lihotzky para un complejo de viviendas sociales.<\/p>\n
